He's hit the nail on the head. Rex was the only one giddy with joy at the prospects of nomming infront of everyone. He loves the chaos, and that is exactly what I saw during Spitgate and why I hated the B Block love and dominance from there on. Posts: 3139 (08/28/08 1:06 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i really agree on rex. he's fun to watch but not a nice person, and i for one would haaate living with someone like that. in other news, i just realized how topsy-turvy it is that mo is immune and sara and lisa are nominated i can't really complain, though, because this is basically the first time since steph that someone i really like is being evicted. as far as the closing days go, my preference for a winner would go 1. rachel 2. whoever survives this eviction 3. mikey 4. rex 5. kat 6. darnell not ranking mo because LOL @ the concept of him not being evicted next tuesday, never mind winning

That is on Jen, Dale & Stuart. Rex had apologized and gone back to B-Block. If Jen hadnt ridiculously over-reacted and Dale/Stuart run back in there and demand that Rex apologize again none of that crap would have happened. No way that can be pinned on Rex.

Rex started the whole thing because Diva was not allowed to do the shopping list. He was peeved all day (Jen did the list) and went to her painting and fucked it up a bit. He then came in with a smirk and half-assed apologized for it and that's what got them riled up against him. He then retreated into B Block and his friends went to battle with him and even got spit on and he didn't even console or care, just sat in his bed. He is the cause of Spit Gate, how the others behaved after were consequences of Rex's actions and half assed apologies.

The only 2 that I can tolerate are on the block and one has to go. This blows. As much as I love Sara, I like Lisa a lot more and I'd love it if she stayed because she does have a better chance of winning. I think if Lisa survives she could potentially be runner-up but if Sara stays, she'll be lucky to get anything better than 5th. This is worse than Bex's eviction:( I still have hope that a Whisperer can bring this home, I'll feel so much better about the series overall. It'll be all worth it that we lost Sylvia and Jennifer so early as well as Mario, Rebecca, Dale, Stuart and Luke.

I can't believe someone could actually look at the facts from that night and come to that conclusion. But hey, everyone sees it differently. To me the biggest cause of it was Jen's over-reacting, her over the top sobbing would make someone believe her mother was murdered, not that someone smudged her picture. Rex did it, apologized, Jen accepted it, he went to bed. She continued moaning and crying about it. Rex may have done the action that got the whole thing in motion, but the issue was done and settled and then Jen, Dale, Stuart and Dennis brought it back up and took it to the level it got to.

Mo and Darnell were NEVER blamed for escalating the situation, which by the live feeds of it, they did as well. Rex was the cause of it to begin with (still imo), he set up the pins, got the game set up, pulled the match and ran off. The fact that the Whisperers got all the slack and blame is what pisses me off. Also Rex's apology was the most see through apology I'd ever seen, it was completely not genuine and fake. That's what bothered me too. Everyone behaved in a poor manner but Darnell, Mo, and Rex got off scotch free and the others were branded horrible trash from the pits of hell that's what gets on my tits.

Rex ignited the fire and Jen blew wind in it. The others jumped in. Rex/Jen are probably very similar in terms of group manipulation. Rex is just more subtle with it.

Like when Mo says, "It's just a painting" and then Stuart starts yelling at him, and then Rebecca gets in front of him and starts yelling at Mo, and then later they yell at Mo for "Squaring up to a girl". And also the way they claimed that Dennis spat on Mo in a loving, gentle way.

Saying it was just a painting and getting very close to them space wise was not a good move. Both sides were wrong but only 1 got demonized imo. The self-righteousness came from both ends, neither took responsibility, the Whisperers were more vocal (again), therefore appearing worse to the general public. Obviously Jen was manipulating the situation like Rex did but doesn't have the intelligence to do it properly like Rex does. The point wasn't the painting, it was violating someone else's stuff without a real reason (although it was because Rex didn't get to do the shopping list and Jen and Co. insisted on doing it, enraging Rex the whole day then he finally lashed out and put spaghetti on her painting in the kitchen). I think the whole situation was nuts and didn't need to happen. If Dennis didn't spit on Mo, we probably wouldn't be talking about it at all. Wish he hadn't cause that was the turning point for the B Block dominance and the Whisperers getting unfortunately massacred from there on out leading up to the worst noms ever of Lisa/Sara.
