What you're saying is that it resembles George W Bush's military experience?

All the key speeches tonight were excellent. Bill Clinton's speech was the best, of course, but that's his forte.
I thought it was a nice touch that Obama appeared live after Biden's speech, addressed the crowd briefly, and explained why they were moving to a different site tomorrow, at the open-air Denver Broncos football stadium, Invesco Field. I checked the weather in Denver, and it will be clear and sunny tomorrow. So no need for tarps. As luck would have it. http://www.usatoday.com/n...08-27-invesco-obama_N.htm |

Republicans are so silly. They're calling Obama's set the 'Temple of Doom'? Did they so easily forget Bush's set from four years ago? As
usual, Pubes seem to forget Bush is the head of their party. Understandable, I know, but its a cold hard fact.

How come Michelle Obama wasn't waving an American flags like everyone else?

In repsonse to the plagarism thingie, Biden did attribute the source of the quote he was using in his stump speeches several times before he gave the same
speech and forgot to quote the source. But if Republicans want to go all the way back to 1988 to rehash Joe Biden's gaffe to use against him, then I'm
sure they would have no objections to Democrats hopping in the Way Back Machine to re-visit the Keating Five scandal.

If SI wants to rehash Keating, then he can take away the gold medals as well.

McCain's leaking his vice president tomorrow and I'm very excited to hear his hopefuls because they're mostly awful. Blah Tim Polente? Loser Mormon
Mitt Romney? Babykiller Tom Ridge? The only pick that might be of interest is Kay Bailey Hutchenson. And Liebermann? He didn't help Gore, why would he help
McCain?

The question was whether or not he had any military experience "whatsoever," not whether or not his military service meets your standards in order to count. |

It won't be Romney. Did you hear the latest? Romney came out earlier today in defense of McCain for forgetting he owns seven houses. Now, common sense
would dictate that this issue is a loser for McCain, and they need to change the subject.
But what did Romney do? The stupid fool said that McCain EARNED his seven houses, while Obama got his one house on a special deal. Yeah. Those seven houses that Cindy bought with the money she inherited. McCain EARNED them by fucking his sugarmama. Way to go, Mittens! What a valuable addition you'll make to the Republican ticket. For the Democrats, that is. |

I hope McCain picks Lieberman. That would be awesomely terrible. We're old, we're ugly, we're bitter, vote for us.

Ya, if only they had qualities important to a president, like youth and good looks.

Gregoire wrote: Greg, did you hear about the kerfluffle over Lieberman and Rove today? The Prince of Darkness came out of cancer or retirement or whatever it is to make some big pronouncement of a scoop (presumably that he was fed by Rove) that claimed at the urging of GOP officials that Lieberman had gone to McCain to ask to be taken out of consideration because it would be bad for his campaign, and now the Lieberman people are firing back saying Rove tried to get him to do that but he wouldn't. I hope hope hope McCain does nominate Lieberman just so I can see the agents of intolerance in full freak out mode. Oh and because Lieberman sucks. |

The democrats shouldn't use the 7 houses thing to take cheap shots at people who can afford 7 houses the real point they should be trying to make is that someone who doesn't even pay attention to their own finances like McCain as President will likely have others around him deal with domestic spending issues. |

I'm more uncomfortable with people who get rich from holding political office, like Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, etc.
