The tv edit never showed anything bad so I always wondered why people hated him here

I seem to remember how cocky her and Jessie were when Jessie was HOH in the second week. They were thinking they were running the game and were going to win. And then when Jessie was getting evicted Michelle asking "What happened we were in such a good position last week." That's what kills me about these people, they get some power and they forget that this game changes all the time.
