Rachel Maddow and Pat Buchanan really need to do a show together. They're really funny when they're together. ETA: David Greggory has to be one of the worst journalists. Ever. I just don't care much for him as a speaker. Bill Clinton was through the roof, the best speech of the convention. He is by far the best orator of the past 25 years. John Kerry's speech was actually really good, but he's John Kerry, so of course it was delivered in a very eh kind of way.

He often pointed out that during his whopping three months of service that the only things he slaughtered were flies and he only lost blood to the mosquitoes as he saw no combat in the "war". The reason Lincoln went back home was his horse was stolen.
