Yes, Seaguy, I'm female. And married to a man. I live halfway between Baltimore and DC in a pleasant city named in the Top 10 American Small Cities list for the past 10 yrs or so. Yay Columbia, Maryland! There are queens a-plenty, but I guess you have to be "in the community" to know about DQ shows in time to plan and attend them.

So you are a small town frau who is "gay curious" well I would say I recall those days but they never happened. Take the hubby to the drag shows he will LOVE IT..

I used to take the straights I knew to Asia SF.. they were fascinated..nothing says "hick" more than a straight laced couple checking out the trannies for the first time..

These days, I think going to a drag show proves you are straight. Going to drag shows at bars lost mandatory status about 1989 in my neck of the pink woods... and the straights go to the restaurants and bars with drag staff to show how "enlightened" they are. Yes, the men who go with their wives/girldfriend are often excited about the "talent" but Tranny chaser does not equal gay.

Yes, yes. All those other lousy straights are there to pretend they are enlightened. Just not me, of course. I will be the only straight in the room going to see some funny and outrageous entertainment.

Saving you time and money and the needless shame of looking in gay rags for DQ's.. may I suggest renting Wigstock or Paris is Burning.. they are all about the drag queens. There are also plenty of movies with Charles Busch and Lypsinka among others oh and let's not forget any John Waters movie with drag o'plenty.... and he is from Baltimore ohmygod!! Try that as your introduction to the world of drag... or just watch a Madonna video same thing.

I finally caved in and looked at the spoiled f3/f4

I can't believe that Blayne & Keith make final 3. That's shocking. Terri making it isn't surpising in the least. I got strong winner vibes from her just from when they introduced her in the premiere. Also, apparently she is NEVER bottom 3 until the final 4 night where Kenley gets booted. I don't think there is a way she's going to lose, unless of course she has a Chris esque line.

I wonder what happens that Suade and Korto don't make final 4.

Wha......t? How reliable is the spoiler? I'd been joking/hoping that Keith progresses at least enough to outlast Kenley ... but didn't think he'd be F3 to be honest. Blayne in F3, however, is/would be a complete surprise to me. And I wonder what placeLeann, who people here were thinking got to Bryant due to her "coming home" timeline, went?

veiled...in DC, Perry's on Columbia Rd. in Adams Morgan has a drag brunch on Sundays, frequented by straight folk. Also check out the 18th St. corridor, just east of Dupont Circle - there are a ton of gay bars there. And as a married woman, I don't understand why you wouldn't feel comfortable in a gay bar! Guarantee you won't be hit on.

But I wonder: did the person truly know the context? What if all he/she really found out was that Keith/Blayne/Terri had just then outlasted Kenley? Maybe the three of them are only among the final 6 or 5 or whatever?

I just want to clarify this:

My discomfort was more about the inconvenience of going into the city and hitting the bar repeatedly until some DQ info is posted. I know its safe. I'm just too lazy to go into the city without some "sure thing" entertainment.

I wouldn't put too much faith in it. I had heard that too earlier, but.....I dunno. Besides the fact that Keith and Blayne are easily the two least talented left, it just sounded fishy to me. I believe the spoiler originally said Mandy or some shit and then they changed it to Terri after the cast reveal. Just my two cents, maybe I'm wrong. The other reason I somewhat doubt it is that the other spoiler I had heard......

is that Tim was recently spotted in none other than Little Rock, Arkansas. But that's just the word of a random forum poster at TWoP, so. And don't look at me like that, I was just cruising for spoilers.

the original spoiler person had mistaken Terri for Korto. How I can't imagine, but there it is. That's supposed to explain Tim Gunn allegedly being in Little Rock. I personally don't hate Korto, despie the fact that she can be a bitch, and I wouldn't mind her being Final Three.

Anyway, I don't put too much faith in the first spoiler just yet, either. I can't imagine what would have to happen for that to come true...unless Bravo is trying to taint Project Runway before sending it off to Lifetime.
