Okay, I'm watching these in some kind of weird order cause now I'm on to Earl singing the Joker.
This was better....but still just meh. and now I'm back to the Hobbit..... okay, so he shaved and doesn't look like a Hobbit anymore. That wasn't bad. Although that song cracked me up. Theo...Yeah, he rocks. That was great.

Oooh, boy. Just finished watching. Not a good night. Some thoughts:
--Anne Murray--she told them all the things I've wanted to tell them. Great mentor. --I didn't feel like they guys did Anne Murray songs, I felt like they did songs Anne Murray covered. Does Anne Murray mostly do covers? I don;t really even know. Except for Drew. Unless Barney did it first and I'm just not aware. But Barney does a lot of covers of Raffi songs. --I really didn't like any of the performances, or song choices, but Theo had the best one of the night with his last. --Mitch just annoys me now because he has done the same song every single week and refuses to get out from behind the guitar. Ever. --Same with Drew, except he sometimes loses the guitar. --Earl is just in his own world. Of all the Steve Miller songs he picks that one? Has he given up? --Hated Theo's first song, but he won the night. That's not saying much. At least he is trying. --Zach's reference to Perry Como on a couch was an SNL skit. --I can't believe they are getting an AI winner to perform--why not one of the previous CI winners? Confused. |

I had to work tonight so I didn't watch, not that I would have if I had been home anyway.
Sounds like it blew. I did hear Theo stood on the piano though so hopefully he wins just like Natalie. I think someone said Anne Murray does a lot of covers. |

The winner from the previous season (Brian from last season) usually perform on the finale and after that, they are never heard from again.
jsyk, Kelly Clarkson was a guest mentor last year (a franchise first) and also performed on the results show. |

Kelly was a great mentor too.
I'm kinda over this season already, kinda bored. Just crown someone the winner ffs. Last year was funner for me for some reason. Dunno why. |

Incredibly boring show last night. I'll say that Theo was the best, but nobody really inspired me. Earl's second performance was more karaoke-like
than any performance I've ever seen in an Idol show before. Yeech.
I can't imagine who's going home... it looks like small, crazy town v. East coast v. Alberta v. Alberta/Sasketchewan.... maybe Theo? And did the fangirls of Canadian Idol cheer for or boo Jordin Sparks? Couldn't tell. |
