I think they have a lot of TV networks to please. Each country's Network wants to have their little bit of human product placement.

I watched some of the team previews.
The Indian Dad/Son team looks like they're going to be a walking sitcom. The other Indian team = boring The socialites look fun. I predict they're going to be in a lot of hijinx ala Schmirna and they'll be trailing a lot due to their lack of backpacking/travel experience. The sport commentators have surprisingly good English. Barely azn accent. But they're boring alpha males without the alpha male physique. Mai and Oliver is probably the one team that I'll be rooting for. They came across fun and carefree in their vid. There's just something about this team that draws me. AD and Fuzzie (can't believe they're both females) are doomed and they KNOW they are underdogs. As the only dating couple, I pegged Geoff and Tisha as the bickering couple, but in their preview vid, they were okay. I'm having a hard time reading them. Potential to be a dud dating team like MoJo or epic like Natifer. Natalie and Pailin's vid was not very interesting although I will still root for Natalie. Go Canada! (now, if she spoke in a thick accent ala Aurelia, I would've loved this team from the start) Didn't watch Malyasian Bro/Sis and Hong Kong team. |

But just the mere fact that they are FF made them the most beloved team. 13 Edwin & Monica - At least Monica was cute. And overflowing love on Monica's "Who needs shampoo?" 14 Brett & Kinar - LOVE at Kinar riding on the carabao and her weird sounding voice 15 Paula & Natasha - Paula is sooo cute but not really that entertaining. 16 Sandy & Francesca - Meh 17 Ernie & Jeena - they love each other so much but boring. However, their elimination was the most depressing of all. 18 Marc & Rovilwhat - I actually rooted for them at first because they are freaking carrying our flag but they became UNBEARABLE. 19. Aubrey & Jacqueline - bitches/famewhores - a deadly combination 20. Sahil & Prashant - I didn't understand a single word that they said. |

Howard and Sahran = magic for regular viewers
My favorite moment was Andy/Laura's hijinks like the map hiding and somehow getting yielded, got into first place and then, lost it all thanks to taxi troubles. Another moment is Aurelia/Sophie where Aurelia learns a lot of new words in the English dictionary. Beufalo, for instance. |

TAR Asia 1 is been replay many times on AXN channel since August 2007. I don't watch again because I watched it before and I know the story. Andy/Laura got
overspeeding and questioned by the police. The Police Officer revoked Andy's driver's license and he don't want to drive 200km/hour. Overspeeding
has been prohibited in all countries on the World.

So TARA3 gets dragged even further towards... not merely "Mactorism", but worse towards "Celebrity Amazing Race". Oh well. We'll see how it goes. |
