See, I think he is. The object of the plan, as I understand it, is to present Dan either with a house consensus that Michelle should be nominated, or a vote showing that the house is divided among Michelle, Ollie, Renny and Keesha. At this point, Dan gets to shuffle his feet, say, "oh, golly, gee, gosh, what should I do," put on that hang-dog look of his, pretend to be really upset, maybe even squeeze out a tear or two, and then name Michelle as the nominee, explaining that he didn't have a choice as he didn't know what to do and this seems to be what most of the house wants.

Afterwards, eveyone will say what a wuss and crybaby Dan is, but no one will call him the Dick.

Oh I get it from Dan's perspective. It's easy to see why he'd want to force everyone to expose a small portion of their own strategy. Really easy. That's why I dont think this goes along with his whole plan to appear weak because he's so obviously trying to manipulate everyone. I guess it depends on how he comes off but based on the way he's been with previous speeches, I have a feeling he's going to sound less like the cowardly guy that didn't want to be the one soley to blame for breaking his word and putting Michelle up and more like the guy in charge, trying to get the rest of the house even more against each other than they already are. If/when the rest of the house realizes that, Dan's whole weakness strategy is out the window. Look at Brian in week 1. The second they realized he was manipulating people, they showed him the door. If Dan were just trying to manipulate Michelle and Ollie that'd be one thing but he's using his own alliance members.

I just hope he gives up on this idea and does it normally. Stabbing Ollie in the back will be show enough for me. I don't need a staged out thing with the houseguests taking turns saying who they want put up.
