Of course if the age had been 18 over here... But I finally made it to 21 and it is exactly the same as when I was under 21 and I had my fake ID.

They didn't though when they realized that the bouncers weren't fucking checking ID's! So instead of being stupid like American politicians and MADD, they actually told the bouncers to check the fucking ID's or else!

I really can't think of anyone I know who is underage and wants to drink but doesn't because of the law and therefore plans to wait until they turn 21.

They have gotten pretty strict around here, because bars keep getting raided for underage drinking (mostly hot under 21 girls who get in because the bouncers have a chubby for them), so a ton of them are taking precautions.

I almost didn't get into the bar 2 weekends ago because they thought my I.D. was fake. I have other forms of I.D. in my wallet, but I don't think I have any with my address on them other than my license.

The fucker then has the balls to ask, do you have anything else? So I said I have my debit card with my name imprinted in it. The fucker says no! WTF. So I finally dug around and found a stupid fucking SIN card that just states my name on it. Then finally I was let in. Keep in mind that I was well over legal age.

They changed the drinking age to 18 conveniently enough for me, the same year I turned 18. There were so many 18-20 year old douche jockeys that didn't know how to handle their liquor that within 2-3 years the law was repealed and the age limit went back up to 21. Mark my words if the age is lowered, the same thing will happen.
