Speaking of being on the wrong side of things, what happened in the four series when the Mets/Phillies squared off? Yeah, that oughta shut you up.Sheeiit. I dont think any words on the screen can shut either of you up.

Oh and btw Kyle is our quarterback. Great. A 6'4" qb who can see over the pourous excuse for an offensive line the Bears are putting out there.

lol Dave. If StarRider would quit obsessing over the Mets, I'd leave him alone.
My man Rex took his team to a Super Bowl in his first season and he still gets no respect. Tis a shame. |

I never feel comfortable when the Mets face Atlanta. I don't care how dreadful the Braves have played recently. You just know those bastards would love to play spoiler by coming to Shea and winning a few games. I bet Chipper will go 8-12 with 5 HR's in this series. |

Bobby Cox is a sad little man who's only purpose in his bitter life is to beat the Mets. So here's to more of these:
That reminds me of memy's query. He's been tossed from the dugout before. Mets up 2-0. Mets 10-4 since Billy Wagner on DL possibly for rest of the season. If Mets can mantain that rate for the final 37 games, I'll be thrilled.

Wagner is clubhouse cancer. It makes sense that the Mets would go on a roll after he goes on the dl.

And naturally Chipper Jones drives in a run tonight.
Doesn't matter, Mets keep rolling along, 11-4 A.B. Seeing Bobby doing that head twitch while watching his bullpen get slaughtered is beautiful to see. Mets bullpen 0.00 ERA tonight, not a typo. |

What can be said about Rich Harden. Maybe Hendry should send the A's a few more prospects just as a thank you.

Yay for Harden getting 10 strikeouts AND the Cubs actually giving him proper run support. Also, many thanks to the Stros and Pirates.
But man. 29 games over .500? And tied with the fucking Tampa Bay Rays for best record in the league on Aug. 19. Is this real? |

Great pitchers' duel at Wrigley tonight. Cueto of the Reds deserves credit for a great performance, but Rich Harden was terrific - ten strike outs and only
two hits in 7 with no walks and he got his first career RBI due to a great play by Soto. This was the first of three games for me this week. Next games are
Friday and Saturday against the Nats. Current record: 20 wins/8 losses with 7 games to go in the regular season.

Ben Sheets sucks. If this is what Brewer fans have been missing in the second half of the season every time he goes down with an injury he should have been
traded a long time ago.
