Regarding how the medal count is tallied, here's a story about a guy from New Zealand who assigned 3 points for gold, 2 for silver, one for bronze, and
found that the Chinese are leading slightly.

No way. Diving is the same shit over and over again. Volleyball is powerful and dynamic. Our men's team is very good and very entertaining to watch.
