Ozzy could NEVER beat Phelps unless he chopped off the best swimmer in the WORLD's legs first.I disagree. Ozzy was washed up physically in Micronesia and arguably in his prime physically in Cook Islands. Imagine if Ozzy was on Palau. That version of Ozzy would probably beat Phelps in a swimming contest. |

Most Europeans were laughing at the big deal right-wing Yanks were making of the Clinton sex scandal.
I'm Canadian, and sex scandals in our politics are rare and minor compared to the US. I suspect our leaders act about the same, it's just we aren't obsessed with digging stuff up and making a big deal out of it. |

Show of hands, Americans, how many of you give a flying fuck what Europeans or Canadians think. Didn't think so. The Clinton scandal was a product of
the power and majesty of his office and the saturation coverage of modern media. For the judge who disbarred Clinton, it was about perjury. For congressional
Republicans, it was about politics and bringing down a powerful opponent. For the rest of the world, it was about sex. The reason sex scandals in Canada
don't get that kind of coverage is because your country and your politicians are of no significance to anybody else. Our guy is the leader of the free
world. If he gets caught screwing around, it means headlines around the world whether you pretend to be too high minded to care or not. If your guy does the
same thing, it's not news, because most of us don't even know who your guy is. I certainly don't.

Yes, let all of us Americans envy and emulate those great European political leaders like Karl Marx, Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin. And before we get the
usual claim of right wing association with Nazism and Fascism, please not the socialistic components of both governmental forms. Indeed, it is not coincidental
that Nazi stood for National Socialist German Workers' Party. Not a very right wing name to me. As far as I am concerned, the only thing
we need from Europe is to go over there and bail them out of political messes every so often.
