I'm going to say that this Ramsey Art fellow is in the cast. If he really is a casting agent for reality shows, then what the heck was he actually doing in Africa? Why would part of casting go there and say they are back on a new adventure, then coming back in September aka the premiere month for Gabon?

I knew a guy who worked for casting dept in Survivor Guatemala...his job was with Spillman's group but on location in Guatemala working with contestants during the build up to the show. His co-workers were also in charge of loser lodge receiving and contestant care type stuff.

Ok.. what I said about interesting NYC character.. I take it back. Just another LA ACTOR. Hopefully with her credits she wont be on the show. HOWEVER, we did have Shane and Jonathan, both working actors at some point, correct?

Jonathan Penner was definitely a SAG member if he was on CSI and other major TV shows more than a month apart. (You could potentially work several times your first month without joining the union...but after that you gotta join)

Seems like wishful thinking...I disagree. Co-workers create friendships like this...then when you work overseas for 8 weeks with a group of people you bond even more than your typical co-worker.

Good chance these people are all in the cast, and seems more than likely that they at least are connected to the production...but to definitively say one way or another we'll find at the cast announcement...which should be this week, no? But if they're not the cast, this is a bit of a house of cards built off of two key leads then following the rabbit trail of MySpace/Facebook relationships, right? Either way, it's been a fun read and I'm impressed with the sleuthing going on.

Does anyone know how to treat a photo such as the airplane photo to try to identify different things like the last letter of the plane, the alcohol bottle's label, the document in the one girl's hands? They're all holding passports...which could be nothing if they all just got back from a trip to Mexico together...but one or more of those other indicators might be worth checking out. (the last letter of the plane must be an N, M, W, L, 1, or I by my estimates...smokeit how do you track flights based on the aircraft number?)
