Or do people just keep repeating the same mistakes over and over?
Was there anything in your life that you used to struggle with, and now you feel it is no longer a problem for you?

Do you believe in growth? |

Do people actually learn from mistakes, grow, and become better people?

I decided long ago never to walk in anyone's shadow. If I fail, if I succeed, at least I'll live as I believe.

Used to lie all the time. Now I just lie for fun.
So yes I believe people grow into better people and/or just get more comfortable doing bad things. --which in turn makes them seem cooler which is always better. |

I've decided that my lack of personal growth makes other folks feel better about themselves.
Why should I take that happiness away from them? |

I've learned the hard way that people never change unless they want to. You can't ask comeone to change, you can't force someone to change,
it'll probably only have the adverse effect if you try.
People who have a destructive behavior will probably only wake up and smell the coffee once they lost everything and hit rock bottom due to that said behavior. But as long as people around them allow, put up with or endorse that behavior, then they'll never change, because the human mind has a "why change a winning formula" policy. |

That's the truth. But yeah, I do believe in growth. I've grown. |

I think people who make mistakes shouldn't grow...they should shrink.
That way they'll take up less space and leave more room for us good people. Plus we'll know who all the fuckups are. The smaller the person, the bigger the fuckup. |

People stop growing physically at 25 and mentally at 35.

some people can grow, some people can't. A person's ability to learn and adapt is probably the best predictor of whether they are going to be happy and
successful in life.

Small seeds can grow plants by adding water to place by pail.

Using pails for growth makes me flummoxed.
