I'm assuming she still has her franks & beans, as she is pretty young. About 7 years ago I met someone going through the transgendering process -- about 2:30 in the morning at a diner after a night out and she was in the next booth over and just starting telling me her life story. It is a lengthy process to get the operation to transform from male to female (or at least it was 7-8 years ago). First you have to start the female hormones to start the feminine changes to occur in your body. You also go through a fairly extensive counseling process to ensure you are ready to make this huge change in your life and prepare you for how it may affect you and your family, friends, coworkers, etc. Finally, after you go through this process which lasts a few years, you begin the surgical process.

I was fascinated. The "lady" I met was a man in his 40s. She was in the closet for most of her life, married and had 2 children. One was about 13, I think, and the other was 20 or 21. She finally came out of the closet and told her wife and divorced. She was still close with her 2 sons & ex-wife, but it took a few years for her family to accept the fact that she was trapped in a man's body.

When I met her, she was dressed as a woman and fairly attractive. She had many female features and was well through the hormone process and was in the stage where she was dressing 24/7 as a female and had explained to her coworkers what was going. She kept the same job that she did as "a man" and was now working the same job as "a woman" and had legally changed her name and her co-workers were now calling her by her female name. She said she was pleasantly surprised how her co-workers accepted her when she told them what was going on. She was about a year away from having the reassignment surgery.

So, I think Isis probably still has her bits, because it sounds like a lengthy process to go through until the final outcome and I would imagine it is expensive. If Isis is considered "homeless" I wouldn't think she had enough cash laying around for the surgery.

If Isis is Tyra's chosen one this season (which wouldn't surprise me one bit) maybe Isis will want to use the money for the surgery and then Tyra gets the added bonus of documenting the process for her talk show. Tyra gets 2 for 1.
