Phelps was upset because his wet goggles prevented him from going faster for a better world record than what he just made. He knew he could swim
faster and that frustrated him when he couldn't see. That is what he told NBC. End of story.

But poor Alicia Sacramone. I felt horrible for her when Andrea Joyce was interviewng her. That was painful to watch.

I'm so psyched about Canada getting it's first 'BRONZE!!'...no seriously, I am. We have no support, no money, no-one cares but, KUDOS to the
Canadian athletes for putting out. This should really be called the Chinese/U.S.A. Olympics. I'm starting to cheer for countries I've never heard of.
But, got to give it up to Michael Phelps ; he's been amazing. I really felt horrible for the girl on the USA team in gymnastics. Man, that was painful and she's such 'the den mother' of the group. Okay... GO CANADA.... get one medal, make me proud! |

Even still, its one gold - it will be cancelled out by the US softball or basketball chicks. It's not one gold, dipshit. It's 17 gold against US's 10. So they cancel YOU out with some spare golds lying around the sides. If China gets a hard on for 'national pride' for a bunch of 62 pound twelve year olds winning a medal in gymnastics, then oh well. Outside of the Olympics every 4 years, the average person has no idea who any of these fucking people are anyway. Ofcourse, as opposed to the US gymnastic teams who are going to come home as megastars with movie deals, recording contracts and 3 stars EACH on the Hollywood walk of fame. Now, let's focus on the real story - the fucked up teeth in China. Holy fuck. They make British people look like Audrina Patridge. Seriously, every time they show a Chinese athlete open their mouth, their teeth look all fucked up. Especially the little gymnast children. That's not racism, that's not 'ugly american-ism' - that's just me watching a bunch of people with fucked up teef. So much anger, uncalled for though expected from the very personification of an ugly american. Unaware of the rest of the world outside their land of the morbidly obese. |
