Skipper Charlie - The Real Gilligan's Island




It's on like a chicken bone! Skipper Charlie was a fascinating story, born and raised in the swamps of Louisiana, Charlie had fended for himself his whole life. His parents left him and his brother at a very early age, his brother died and all Charlie had was himself and his boat. And because of that, he never did get close to too many people. He lived a life of Solitude, which is why him being on a show like this was so unique. And Charlie thrived in it, for the most part. There were quite a few people he didn't get along with and who quite honestly picked on him, but Charlie wasn;t one not to defend himself. And in the end, despite everyone's differences they all came out respecting Charlie. He was outnumbered very early on after his tribe was picked off, leaving him to need immunity a lot. But when he needed it he always got it, and with his one true ally Ginger at his side...he was set for the end game. She wanted him to win cause she felt he most represented what the show was all about, and I think thats what most of the viewers thought as well. Him winning the final challenge was one of the most epic things ever, running through the water with the torch at hand and lighting the final flares. It was a wonderful moment and couldn't have happened to a� more deserving guy.
