Brian basically never bothered with the young Sook Jais, and was one vote away from losing to a goat. That's not a good winner. A goat should be someone you can dominate, but when basically the only way you can win is against a goat who's hated and has a bad personality, then you didn't do a good job. Had Brian been playing against competant players rather than people like Jan, who basically kept ANY flip from happening, he never would've won that season.Fair enough, but you have to watch the show again. Brian was in the weak tribe where personality clashed quite frequently. By the time of the merge, Brian was the ONLY player who does not have any conflict (Clay-Jan/Ted-Ghandia/Helen-Ghandia, etc), so he has a very good standing. He would have beaten Clay, Ted and Jan though he probably won't win against Helen. I will be as bold as declared that Shi Ann WILL vote for Brian under any circumstance because she "respects" better overall games. Let not forget that whiny SJs are one of the laziest tribes ever. Ken frequently sat out most of the challenges and used 9/11 to his advantages. Penny and Erin sucks in challenges. Shi Ann was only kept over Stephanie, Robb and Jedd simply because she is not a challenge threat. During the merge, Brian did what Clay did not do: contribute to the camp. Clay's social game is one of the most overlooked as he actually works his "lazy ways" to align with Penny, Erin and Ken. Brian has a choice: either work and get on a good side with his alliance or be lazy with the risk of possiblity alienating his alliance partners like Clay did. SJs came off as self-entitled, whiny bunch of brats that even Jake grew tired of them. Why do you think he voted for Brian and not Clay?
If Brian had even attempted to curry any of the first 3 jury members votes, he would of overplayed his hand and went home. There was no reason to bond with them or attempt to get their votes, it would do nothing but make him look bad. Also, since Clay got 3 votes, that should be looked at as bad luck which Brian managed to overcome. Clay is very underrated as a player, he used the goat stratagy to its full advantage, somewhat like Vecepia. I rank Brian number 1 in the Winners Analysis thread for these reasons, as well as the fact that it was an earlier season and had less to go on.

It's amazing a show that has so many
critics in who ends up winning has produced two of the best winners ever the past two seasons. I would venture to say that Aleisha and Terri are better winners
than all of the BBUK winners combined. But anyways, Terri was the ultimate underdog story. She was evicted on day 1 based on first impressions just cause the
guys didn't want a older lady in the house. And just like that Terri dream of being in the Big brother house was over.....or was it. When the producers
brought in party boy Corey Worthington who was underage, it was only appropriate to have a guardian for him. and she fit the role perfectly. So Terri got a
second chance and definitely made the most of it. Terri despite being 52 acted like she was 72...but it was most endearing. Her ideals and habits were very old
school which led to many clashes with her fellow housemates. But as the days went on they grew to respect her more and more and she learned to loosen up more
and more. And before long she was one of the most beloved people in the house. Everytime she stayed she was shocked and she looked like she was ready to have a
heart attack on finale night. But as the final season of Big Brother Australia came to a close, the best winner possible came out of it and Nana Terri had done
it and won Big Brother 8. A story for the ages
