I believe a reminder is in order:

Just because the show will be over after tonight doesn't mean we sit idle waiting to hear whether ABC decides to renew the show for another season. Everyone who had an interest in this season of The Mole (or heck, even previous seasons) is asked to maintain their presence on Mole message boards and sites, including the ABC Message Board, SaveTheMole.com, and the soon-to-be-live site ABCSaveTheMole.com (headed by none other than Jim Morrison from Season 1). Jim promises that he will bring forth our ideas for a new season to the producers if the show is renewed.

Many of yesteryear's Mole contestants are coming out of the woodwork to get the show renewed for a 6th season. Many of the current contestants are also doing the same, along with Jon Kelley. Some are even offering their own prizes to those who can help save the show. These are people with nothing to gain from the renewal of the show (save for maybe Jon, but he's proven himself to be a big fan as well). They are fans just like us with a desire to see more of a great show.

So let's hang around after the curtain has fallen. Do your part to remind ABC that a dedicated fan base exists; one that won't admit defeat to a network that has done everything wrong with this show over its 5 seasons. Succeed and we'll all get to meet again in a year to discuss our crazy theories. Isn't that reason enough? ;)

Where I live The Mole has already been cancelled one episode early!

If you're talking about Wisconsin, I've read that the finale is being delayed to Sunday the 17th because of a preseason football game airing today in its place. I don't think the issue here is cancellation.
