btw, Mark and his family are to me the least offensive Newfies in terms of.... how do I say this, uum... Like last year, Tara and her family were so annoying, they waved that big newfie flags whenever they got the chance, and Tara kept saying Newfoundland every step of the way. |

To help, Canadian Idol launched the Vote Equalization Program which takes votes cast from Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. and gives them to Idols from less talented provinces

praise the lord.
im pumped mark is the worst placing newfie finalist. and the fact that he was in the bottom 3 last week and newfoundland still didn't bother to vote makes me smile even more. i was shocked mookie wasn't in the bottom 3, but very happy all the same. still loving this season, mookie/amberly/theo top 3 plz. |

Just watched this week's show. Some thoughts:
-I'm glad Mark is gone, but I thought his performance on Monday was hilarious. Best song choice ever. He turned "Bleeding Love" into "Bleating Love" with that horrible vibrato. Carmen Rasmussen would be proud. -This top 10 is shaping up very nicely. I couldn't stand Adam and Katherine in the semis and they were the first two out and now Mark is gone. If only Sebastian was still here, I'd be incredibly happy. -Drew was the best on the night (never thought I'd say that), followed by Earl, Amberly, Mookie, Theo, Mitch, and then Mark. Earl sang too weakly on the chorus, but the rest sounded great. Amberly and Mitch disappointed... I'm getting used to being disappointed in Mitch. -Theo is my favorite and I want him to win, but that performance was not too hot. He looked like Craigina's older brother... and he even performed like Craig. |

Best.results.show.ever. Potential for a shocker boot, but in the end, all is right with the world. I agree with SHC, Amberly will likely suffer from Earl being in the bottom 3 this week. Hopefully Froggurl will jump on Mookie train and mobilize all the fangirls. |

Apparently his parents are really, really nice people. That's what my relatives (who hated Mark on the show) said anyway. Amberly's gone unless they give her the pimp spot, I don't recall her having it yet, at least not in the finals. However she's not exactly due for it since she went 2nd last this week and 5th last week. If TPTB want to keep a girl on the show they'll give her in the pimp spot but imo they've made a ton of stupid choices line up wise before and they try to be all fair and shit. On the one hand I like that they aren't manipulative like AI but on the other I wish they were slightly more manipulative like AI. I'm just basing this on past history of voting though. We've seen a few people this year land in the B3 two weeks in a row so for all I know Earl and Theo won't get a huge jump in votes and it will come down to actual performances. |

I won't even torture you and just say yes. People (okay I really don't mean people, I mean the girls who watch this show) would jump for joy and dance
naked in the streets if they got an all male Top 5.
There's idiots just itching to get Amberly out so they can enjoy the superior male talent. Some bitch on the CTV board last night was going on and on about how Amberly sucks and we should get her out next and let the real competition start with the boys fighting it out. |

Amberly is kind of the Katherine McPhee of Canadian Idol. Very pretty, good voice but I don't think anyone will be interested in her after the season
ends.
