"The Serpent and the Rainbow", "Jacob's Ladder" and "Candyman" also got me when I was a kid. I think I read somewhere that there is a planned remake of "Candyman" with a white guy taking on Tony Todd's role. Really, come on now...

The 1982 remake of "Cat People" freaked me out when I was a little kid. After watching it recently for the first time in a couple of decades, I was
amazed my parents actually let me watch the fucking movie back then, considering that it is borderline Skinemax horror.

There should be a lot more mention of Black Sheep in this thread. Shame on you, folks.

I never heard of the movie till now, not sure if I'd rush out and rent though.
Has anyone seen REC yet? I keep hearing about it, don't know much about it. I'm looking forward to seeing the indi vampire movie, I think it's called "Let the Right One In", I heard it's one of the best films of the year, it comes out on DVD this month and they are planning to do an American remake of the film. |

I always laughed over the fact that she's shot in the right cheek, but he puts her hand on the left.

I just saw the Friday the 13th remake. It was actually pretty good.
I know it's the same guy who did the TCM remake. I don't know who he is, but as far as remakes go, he does a decent job. He has a way of bringing it to this decade without going over the top with it. |

i saw the original version of 'invasion of the bodysnatchers' when i was around 8; shortly after being totally freaked out by it, i was out in our yard
and saw some foam from a spittle bug on a plant, and spent the next six months thinking my parents had been 'changed'.

We watched three of the worst movies ever filmed last night. Trailer Park Terror, Zombie Strippers, and the ultimate in bad, Dark Carnival.
If anyone ever invites you to share in this beastly crap, run, don't walk, as far and as fast as you can to the next county. My kid can NEVER pick movies again. Not even as a joke. |

So Black Sheep was one of my free movies on On Demand, it was ok, really I didn't expect too much from it. It was an ok flick, not something I'd watch
again. The one dark haired guy was kind of hot, then as he started to mutate into a sheep and convulse it was like "Eww" not so hot.

Has anyone seen that movie Intruder. . . its pretty decent. While we are on I's. . .Initiation with that Daphne from Melrose Place is decent. The 80's
Night of the Demons I loved.
Some of my favo movies aren't from America - Suspiria, Stage Fright, Inside. But if you are looking for cheesy along the lines of Zombie Strippers, Rent - Sorority Babes at the Slime Bowl-a-Rama. "You're name is TAFFY?" "Yeah What's Wrong with Taffy?" "If you don't know than you DESERVE the name" Speaking of Bowling. . .anyone seen Gutterballs? Talk about Male Nudity Throughout. One guy reminds me of a Survivor Castaway. Its about two white people gangs who gets in a fight at a bowling alley. They decide to settle it the next night after hours over a bowling game (how else do white people settle a fight) but that night a girl of the rival gang gets raped by 4 guys and by something else. The girl still shows up the next night and the gangs start bowling. But somebody begins to kill them.

I'm a fan of the series but not a die hard crazy one and I thought the remake was pretty good.
I became a HUGE Bree fan though. HOT!

star jumper wrote:It wasnt great, but it was an interesting concept. It basically seems as though it's a new sequal to the orignal riday the 13th, disacknowledging the rest of the series. A fresh start so to speak. However, I'm not a big fan of them making Jason into some deranged, retarded mountain man instead of an undead killing maching. He's basically more Leatherface than he is Jason in this one. |
