There are a couple drop dead hilarious comments that have been slipped in. On 3rd August the Ipswich Recorder newspaper revealed that Darnell left Ipswich for the USA on a witness protection programme after giving evidence at the trial of two local businessmen for the gang rape of a badger. Mikey is also known for his ability to eat very hot chillies, especially on Day 55 when he won 30 points when doing the Head of House challenge, he was very calm when eating the hottest chilli, on Day 58 he ate the world's hottest chilli, a Scotch Bonnet, which was part of a box of exotic fruit and veg which was one of the 57 special prizes they received that week. He copes with the basic lifestyle in the Hell side of the house by storing items of food around his mouth and on his chin.

Posts: 8035 (08/04/08 8:24 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	What I posted in the Rex thread: After watching that last daily show, I have to say that even though it's obvious the stress of the BB house is getting to them, Rex and Nicole are handling it pretty much as well as can be expected considering the circumstances. It's only day 2 though so I expect it to get worse and Rex certainly does from what he said in his DR. How they handle this week is going to make or break them. There's already the expected chatter about the couple from the others. It's brilliant and cruel at the same time, what BB did. They gave Rex what he wanted but made it impossible for them to be together fully, plastic fence aside. The missing suitcase is going to add even more pressure to the situation as it is. Nicole might want to leave but she won't because she wants Rex to stay. Rex's hands are tied because there's only so much he can do in the house. It's going to be very interesting watching these two. If they make it through I'm sure they'll grow a little bit from the experience. Honestly, this is what we watch BB for, how normal social dynamics are affected by this very controlled artificial environment. Aside from the Rex and Nicole relationship, the interesting part of the last episode is the interaction between Darnell and Sara. There's already some hints of what they're going to have to show in the next episode and if anyone wants to find out, they should just check the live feed updates on what happened late at night. I feel for Darnell. We already know he's a pretty sensitive guy so what happened must have been mortifying for him. I feel so bad for him and right now he is saying that he wants to go home, though not in a Dale/Stuart type of moaning/bitching I want to go home. He has been talking to Kat a little bit but not elaborating. Although, Kat has said she has heard a bit of this and that. I don't know how to do the spoiler tag so I apologize in advance...but It's a shame that Hell can't nominate this week. Darnell is banned as well. So that leaves all the rest of Heaven. How do you think noms will play out with that situation going on???? I wanted Rex to go up and out (ducking head from Rex lovers). I just feel that bringing his g/f in the house has changed him completely. She knows what has been going on in the house for 2 months as well. She can be a block vote with him when she is eligible to nominate. I realize people said that about Mario and Lisa as well and at times they nominated differently. I just feel that it is completely unfair to the rest of the housemates that she comes in so late in the show and is still eligible to win at the end.

Even Rachel was a bit taken aback by him and clearly sensitive to the different kind of plight N/R are under. LOVED the Alphabet task. The little touches (the hat! and calling them in reverse alpha order) are what make BBUK tasks so much better than BBUS ones. LOL That's the Rex I love I didn't really appreciate Rex getting Kat to repeat what he was saying to show Nicole. I thought it was kind of humiliating for Kat. I'm sure it was all done in fun though and Kat seemed to enjoy it as well.

I think they set this whole thing up to make Rex and his girlfriend look bad, or to help get Rex out on Friday, and crossing the divide would just feed in what BB is already doing. She can be a block vote with him when she is eligible to nominate. By the time she's able to nominate, there are going to be relatively few people to choose from. Earlier on, some of Luke's alliance did nominate the same people (Luke, Bex, and Lisa or Mikey all nominated Mo/Darnell the same week), which seemed more like bloc voting to me. I don't know if Rex and Nicole will vote together or not. I don't think he cares enough to tell her how to vote, and she seems to have a mind of her own. His bashing of Rex/Nicole "Don't feel sorry for them!" is just petty and disgusting. Nothing new for Mikey. He's always more than happy to come out with another quick answer for someone who has a role in the house besides shouting. Like when he told Rex to just leave if he wanted to go. Some would say this is just him telling it like it is, yet I don't remember him saying anything of the kind to Lisa, Stuart, or Dale. For someone who has thrown a pity party for himself so many times in the house, he doesn't have a great deal of sympathy for anyone else. I hope Darnell doesn't leave. He's been there from the start and has been such a big character. I can see why Sara might not be interested in him, but I don't get her interest in Stuart. His body and face are hot, but he'd probably weep throughout the whole thing, or call out Dale's name. I guess she doesn't remember how quickly the public will lash out at women. I know everyone in here is suddenly under the "OMG Rex <333!!11!!/Everyone else H8!" group think, but really, whats wrong with Stuart? He might be a tad boring as far as reality TV characters go, but relationship wise, I'm sure one could do a lot worse. Hes my favo of the boring houseguests this season <3 (and, hes no more boring than...RACHEL! )

He just floats between groups, usually where ever Dale goes. He mopes about missing his kid, wants to go, bashes someone with Dale and then sits around. That's it. Even Rachel & Mo have more of a story going for them. At least they're talked about.

There's sort of a desperate quality about the way he conducts himself, because he never got to be the alpha male of the house. He's also become joined at the hip with Dale, although at least they were able to unglue long enough for him to spend time with Sara.

The hell housemates are faced with a task they think is impossible - eating huge buckets of horrible brussel sprouts and technically they have until midnight to do it. Nicole can't nominate anyway so she has no incentive on top of that. So most likely, Kat and Mikey won't nominate. Darnell has been banned from nominating due to him jumping over the fence so that's another person out of the way. So that leaves Rex, Rachel, Sara, Mo, Lisa, Dale and Stu. Sara also cashed in her voucher to use the nomination pod and had a 20 minute session with Rex where they agreed to vote Dale and Stu because they were homesick. So most likely... Rex - Dale and Stu Sara - Dale and Stu, maybe Mo Mo - Dale and Stu, maybe Lisa Rachel - Dale and Lisa Dale - Rex and Mo, maybe Darnell Stu - Rex and Mo, maybe Darnell Lisa - Rex and someone else (Who knows? ) So Dale is most likely going to be up, probably against Rex, Stu, Mo, Lisa depending on how the votes end up. It will be close and more than likely 3 or maybe even 4 of them could be up. It's funny how things worked out. Rex orders 57 special tokens on a whim and gets his girlfriend into the house. Two of the tokens are a voucher to view a VT and a voucher to use the nomination pod. Both were taken and hidden by Darnell who gives one to Rex and one to Sara, who end up being the ones to use the nominations pod.

The difference to me is that Darnell can snap out of that mode and be funny and interesting, unlike Stu who is dull and one note. Another difference is that Darnell actually wants to stay in the house. Stu doesn't. I can't believe people who have been on BB in UK can make so much money once they are out of the house, especially because here in the U.S., no one has had that ability to make more with their careers from their BB exposure. I don't think I could sink to the depths of Luke and Bex to make a buck. And Mario? What he has resorted to isn't pretty: link
