loved that Shawn worked a fake job to keep Gus working at Psych ;)
Awe... Daddy was always there for Shawn! |

I enjoyed the premier. They would do great halloween shows. It was kind of cool to see Shawn realize his dad wasn't the bad guy he thought he was. I
didn't like the mom's excuse though. You can't say you didn't want to leave and then say you're life started once you did. I expected
Shawn to be a little more upset about that. I guess that will be addressed in a future episode.

Looks like we have got a good season ahead of us with some great guest stars!
I don't really care much about Shawn and Ohara. Why does every show feel the need to incorporate some sort of romance between its characters? |

that was a good episode. Sweet too. Loved the whole Breakfast Club/John Hughes theme. |

"We'll get you back on TV, and not in that infomercial for the home stomach pump..."
Not my favorite episode, but there was some great dialogue, and it's always nice to see Buzz pop up every now and then. |

Anyone notice all the product placements in new shows? First Eureka now Psych. I don't even know if you can call them product placements, they are written
into the dialog now. It's so damn blatant, they practically stop the show to do a commercial. This bodes rather ominously for the fall season.

What's the name of the actor who played Dutch the Clutch last night? I know he's on LOST, and I think his last name is something like Faley or
something...

Jeff Fahey. He was also The Lawnmower Man, which they nicely worked into the show too

While I totally agree with you DS51, disguising the names is stupid, I do need to point out that Dreyer's is a real ice cream

"We'll get you back on TV, and not in that infomercial for the home stomach pump..." My favorite line of the night along with Gus' "You know I have early onset vertigo!" |

Not my favorite episode, but it still made me giggle. Liked the lawnmower man mention too.

I still like the show, but I'm not diggin the changes they've made to the show this season.
It's got a softer, more personal, increased intimacy feel to it that didn't exist in seasons 1 and 2. Shawn seems more sensitive and reflective, and Gus is more of a clownish lil beyatch. I also didn't appreciate the 2 minute music infused chase through the woods in the treasure hunt episode. I'm hoping that this is all due to the writer's strike and that all will go back to normal in a few more episodes. The original formula was perfect, that's why we liked the show. Now it's filled with a bunch of superfluous fodder and yik yak smack. |

Yeah, I'm not crazy about sensitive Shawn either. I did love Steven Weber, though.

LOL I didn't catch the bong. I wasn't watching as closely as I normally do though, I think I am gonna have to watch it again. Maybe they got a contact
high from being in the car lol.
I think there were a lot of references in this one I didn't get, I was thinking the Pookie one was too. Like I thought that might have been similar to that one character's name on Starsky and Hutch, but I just looked and that was Huggy Bear. :: shrug :: Thought it was a pretty good ep though. I didn't catch if there was a Love Boat reference for Ted Lange though. |

I haven't watched the whole eppy yet, I dvr'd it. I just caught that part during an Olympic commercial. The only Pookie I know of is from New Jack
City, lol.
