You might have a SHRED of credibility except for one thing: EVERY ONE OF THE THREE GUYS WHO BEAT WILL IS A PERSON OF COLOR! You may just dismiss those who prefer Joshua, but that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. If it was a racial issue, wouldn't we have been championing Thayne or Chris or Matt all along? I don't seem to recall anybody doing that. Joshua has been MY favorite from week one, and from week two on, Mark joined him at the top for me. Where is the racist conspiracy?!
I was giving it some thought, and there are two qualities I like to see in these dancers -- I'd like them to be adorable and I'd like them to be impressive. Ideally, they should be both, but if they are only one of the two, I'd choose adorable over impressive. That's a personal choice. Here's how the the top 8 measure up in those criteria:
Joshua - Adorable and Impressive
Mark - Adorable and Impressive
Twitch - Adorable but not particularly Impressive
Will - Impressive but not particularly Adorable
Katee - Impressive but not particularly Adorable
Chelsie - Impressive but not at all Adorable
Courtney - Adorable and sort of Impressive, but perhaps not as much so as others
Comfort - Neither Adorable nor Impressive
IMO, because Joshua and Mark have BOTH qualities, they are more worthy than either Will or Twitch who have only one and not the other. As a personal choice, I'd take Twitch over Will just based on what I like. On the girls' side, Courtney comes closer to being the whole package and has the quality I prefer, so I like her more than Katee or Chelsie. Comfort was the right eliminee this week because she has neither quality. Still, I have no problem with her being here longer than Kherington or Jessica, because IMO neither of THEM were adorable nor impressive, either.
