i haven't taken mine out for about 45 days now (they're 1 month night-and-day nonstop wear ones, but i figure the 30 day is flexible). i guess i should
take 'em out now or risk scratching hte cornea...

Dude your eyes will fall out!
I can't wear contacts because my eyes are too sensy. My cousin used to keep his in for weeks and then his eyes would get all sorts of fucked up. |

I take mine out every night or else my eyes will get all cloudy. i use disposable lenses.
do you at least use eye drops every day to lubricate your eyes? |

I can only do about 12 hours maximum or I start to get a really bad headache around my eyes.

I kept mine in too long once...I ended up with a corneal abrasion and those aren't fun! Imagine feeling like someone's stabbing you in the eyes every
time there's a slight flicker of light. I'm too terrified to sleep with mine in since then.

you really need to take them out at night. they need air or some shit the blood vessels behind them are probably going crazier than your relatives in a jewish
night club.

I take them out every night. Ever since I heard they can get stuck to your cornea, I don't leave them in. Ick.

I leave mine in upwards of 18 hrs/day, but I never, ever sleep in them.

I never sleep in mine either. That just freaks me out. Even if I had ones that were approved for non-stop use I think it would freak me out. Of course, the
thought of jabbing my finger into my eye to put in and remove the contacts freaked me out, too. Now that doesn't bother me at all. So maybe it is something
that I could handle.
Ooh I just looked and my lenses are now approved for up to 6 nights wear. Maybe I'll try it. But I do also wear mine way longer than I am supposed to. I am supposed to change them every 2 weeks but I wear the same pair for months. |

My best friend in high school would keep her contacts in for days at a time, even though they weren't the extended wear ones. She got a lot of eye
infections.
Mine are 2-week disposable daytime lenses. I try to stretch them to 3 weeks, but they start bothering me after 2 1/2. I have stupid aspheric lenses that they have to special order. |

I would wear my 2 week disposables for 6-8 months (however, I DID take them out at night). I ended up irritating my cornea and scratching it about 2 months
ago. Since then, I can't wear my contacts for more than 8 hours a day.
