James Wirtanen - Treasure Island Australia




As Cocksy said when discussing James, there's a softness there that shouldn't be there for a Treasure island winner. You see, the winners of this hardnosed reality show were for the most part grizzled men and women who could live off the land, decipher maps and outlast pretty mactors. James Wirtanen however was the exception. He was very flamboyant (so much so that I thought he was gay for a large part of his season), he was also very arrogant. However occasionally, if you can back it up with humor, arrogance is ok. And that was the case with James, he wasn't mean spirited when he would dish the dirt about others in confessionals. He was amusing and would clearly just do it for laffos, and that made it somewhat acceptable. So although I hate the type of role he played, Dyke Cruser's favo gets number 105 on my list.

Jackson & Monica - Couples Fear Factor 1




I gew to like Jackson and Monica a bit more upon rewtching the season. I was near @#%%# when they won originally cause they beat out james and Meghan, arguably the cutest, sweetest, most wonderful couple of all time. I mean just look at them



So c00t, they were the underdogs from the start and managed to just barely avoid elimination every week right up till the finale, where story arc class 101 tells us they should win in a epic m.orph. But they didn't, Jackson and Monica the odds on favorites did. Which made me tres sad. However, on the brightside, Monica was semi attractive and they worked well as a team together. They were also James and Meghan's best friends. So it was exceptable...but still a bummer.

Maven - Tough Enough 1




The first ever winner of the Tough Enough program which was a very underrated reality show which should still be on the air. It combined all the elements of the Real World with them training to be a professiona wrestler. Which for me, combined two of my greatest loves. Maven is as I keep reeiterating on, the type of safe winner you want for your first season. It was clear he had skills in the ring, and although generic, he was a great guy. While his season was filming his mother got cancer and they actually allowed him leave the show for a while to take care of her and then come back. That tugged at heartstrings and made him the sentimental choice and the clear winner. I always felt Chris Nowitski was the best, but as he was more of a heel he never really stood a chance at winning the public vote in the end. Maven has long since disappeared from the WWE, but he was on The Surreal Life!

Brian Heidik - Survivor Thailand




If I made this list maybe a year and a half ago, Brian would be significantly higher. I have always felt he was overrated and gets too much credit for beating out people who were for the most part, brain dead. It wasn't that much of a accomplishment, plus he barely beat Clay a guy who everyobdy hated in the final 2. So clearly, at some point, Brian faultered. He wasn't the second coming of Hatch and he's barely even in the top half of Survivor winners of all time. He was arrogant, cocky, and smarmy in everything he did and everything he said. All these things alone are bad enough, but likely wouldn't be bad enough to keep him out of like the top 70 on my list. However, when you add puppy killer to that mix, you get a HUGE downgrade from this animal lover. Brian was charged with animal cruelty, and for that, he will forever be scum.

Guy Sebastian - Australian Idol 1




There was a epic showdown in the original Australian Idol between Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll. One that divided the entire country. I was on Shannon's side as I enjoyed his voice much more. However, Guy was still a very good winner. The voice of a younger Michael Jackson, combined with his trademark fro, Guy was always recognizable. He still has a successful career to this day (not as successful as Shannon though may I add). Guy, also a devout Christian was well known for remaining a virgin until he got married. Well this past month he tied the knot....leading to many mentions of him again in the Aussie culture. Good job Guy, I hope you and your bride remaing very happy!

To be fair, he is in the upper middle range, so I do appreciate him. Just not as much as 104 other people.

Josh Kronfeld - Treasure Island All Stars




The Superstars of Treasure Island was a absolutely epic season where they brought in all stars from all different countries to compete. Including celebrity versions. Josh won his celeb version and then came back and won All Stars too which is quite a impressive feat. Josh was a man of few words, but he had much control over the game at all times and always knew what the next best move was. Along with his long time friend Brent Todd they dominated the competition, and at the very end Brent couldn't keep up with Josh's raw power and determination. This was just a case of someone being far superior to everyone else on a physical level.

Kathy Griffith - Celebrity Mole 1




Please keep in mind here that I am not gay and thus am not required to rank her in the top 10. I understand why people love her and all of that, personally I don't find her all that funny, but I get it. She talks about people and things that are popular and rags on them, laffos ensue. And yea, she was entertaining on The Mole. Specifically her commentary on everybody. But I found it to get tiresome towards the end, almost like she was trying too hard. And I prefer people who it just comes naturally to. Kathy also had a show solely dedicated to reality tv back in the day, which is more points for her. But all these positives are not enough to outweight the fact that shes overrated and her fanboys are annoying. So she gets the 99th spot.

Janusz Libertowski - American Inventor




One of my favorite things about American Inventor was how real the cast was. There were no good looking people, it was all real, hardworking, every day America. And that made me love it. Unfortunately, like most shows today, it also relied heavily on sob stories. Perhaps no one in reality television history has had a better sob story than Janusz. He lost his baby daughter in a car accident and from that day on had vowed to make a car seat that was safer. He invented something that actes almost as a mother's womb, that the impact would force the seat in the other direction, leaving the child safe. The idea in itself was perfect, and he really didn't have to do much else than shed a few $%@%* and visit his daughters gravesite once and he had the show in the bag. All this from a guy who could barely speak any English.

Christina - Hell's Kitchen 4




This is a recent one, I didn't mind Christina, but I hated her winning. Cause up against her in the final 2 was one of the most likable, endearing and talented contestants the show had ever seen in Petrozza. A man who after years of hard work really deserves this break. And for him to lose out was awful to watch. But that takes nothing away from Christina who was a great chef and seemingly a nice kid who just wanted to cook. But nonetheless the result could have been a lot better.



Holly - Make Me A Supermodel




A last minute addition to this list cause i totally forgot about this show. Holly was adorable, quirky and cute. But the best part of her win was that she was a female...and she won. A show on Bravo which is basically 95 percent gay men and hausfrau was won by a woman. It seemed impossible, but the fact that she was the only female, and all the men split the vote made her the winner of this glorious show. And the irony in that couldn't be any more sweet.

Parvati Shallow - Survivor: Micronesia




I've never hated Parvati as much as most people do. In Cook Islands I found her OTT flirting to be endearing cause she was so open with it rather than trying to be discreet like many players before her. many questioned her being chosen to come back for Fans vs Favos, but I didn't mind it. I found Amanda getting to come back to be much poorer of a choice. And that trend would continue all season, as Parvati pulled the strings behind the scenes, Amanda got all the air time and all the fans. And I hated every second of it. Finally we got down to the final 2, and the two bffs were pitted against each other. I was hoping with everything I had in me that Parvati would win, not so much cause I liked her but just cause of my hate for Amanda. And when she won I couldn't be happier. So perhaps it's due to circumstance, but I happen to like Parvati, and she saved Micronesia from what could have been a disasterous ending.
