I saw it over the weekend, it was very good! Heath Ledger was great! And I am no Heath Ledger fan....and I am not saying that cos he is dead. He just made an excellent joker. It really bummed me out that we won't be able to see him reprise the role.Same here, pussycow. I liked Heath a lot in 10 Things I Hate About You and Brokeback Mountain, but would never go see a movie just because he's in it. He was amazing in TDK. It really is sad he's not around to play this role again. Tragic he's not around period... "Richard" was lookin' good as always. eta - yeeeah, three of my favorites are in The Mole final four. Ok, I'm gonna type it and maybe it'll get him executed next: Craig is the mole. He bores me. I don't have any real reason to dislike him, I just wish he'd leave. On the bright side, if he is the mole then Mark, Nic or Paul wins!! (preferably Mark or Nic.. I think she's been underestimated)

I found Paul entertaining, but thought he was a massive douche, but after seeing how sweet he was with his daughter last night, I wouldn't mind him winning either. I think that Paul and Nicole will be the winner and loser, and that either Mark or Craig will be gone next week, and the other one is the mole. Since I picked Craig as the mole pre-season, I'm sticking with him till the end. I'm just glad it hasn't become painfully obvious he isn't the mole, making me look foolish, lol! |

By the way--I'd just like to brag for a moment, because this is something I still like to brag about. Ages back, when the first Celebrity Mole was on air, I said before the first episode even aired that I thought Frederique was the mole and Kathy Griffin would win. I then entered a betting pool (only for points, not money, sadly) saying this before the show ever started...and what do you know? I won the betting pool! :D *stops gloating* I still need to see The Dark Knight, but I'm not really a big batman fan. I might go see it sometime next week, though. We'll see. |

I picked supermodel chick first episode also.
I'm not a fan of the Batman movies either. Last movie I watched Michael Keaton was Batman. Then I quit watching when ???? took over. I became interested again when Christian Bale took the role.. and then VERY interested when I heard Heath Ledger was the Joker. (interested before he died) i wanted to see mr ledger's last picture show and how he stacked up against jack nicholson as the joker.This may be blasphemy to some but Ledger's performance was better IMO. Different - funnier - creepier - better. My favorite line is in a post one page back but also LoL when someone called him crazy and he said so seriously "No.. I'm .. not.." Also loved when he said to Batman "Kill you? I don't wanna kill you... you complete me. "

^^ THAT was hilarious! My husband is a BIG fan of Batman and after TDK he said "Jack who?" He absolutely loved Heath Ledger as Joker. Also, after the
movie, which I went to see with 2 fanboys, I had to endure hearing about who would be the best villain for the next movie. I had a major headache by the time I
got home.

Yeah Jack's performance is a joke (HAHA GET IT??!) compared to Heath's. Of course, those older movies have such a different look and feel to them they
almost shouldn't be compared.
My favorite part was the disappearing pencil. By far the best scene of any movie all summer! |
