$antana's line toight will be 6IP, 6R, 9HITS. It won't be good enough. Our lineup has figured him out now.

Only 6 runs? After Johan completely dominated them in his first two starts, I guess the Phillies have no way to go but up.

Jason Stark, Philly writer issued the following shocking prediction:
At ESPN.com, Jayson Stark debates "Who is going to win the NL East?" Stark's case for the Phillies:
Stark's case for the Marlins:
Stark's case for the Mets:
Stark's verdict … Drum roll please …. Here comes a shocker … He picked the Phillies to win the division over the Mets since they have "have outscored them, outpitched them and outfielded them." (question: in 3 of the 10 games?) |

In all the games Einstein. We will win this division when all is said and done. This is why i told you to make sure you enjoyed your little ten game luck
streak. I'm a giver.
eta- Stark hasn't been a Phillie writer in ten years btw. He's long since gone national.

Of course, sig forgot to mention that he won't be sporting any Phillies attire tonight since he's too afraid of getting his ass beat like a fat kid
stealing lunches.
Have fun and make sure you BOW when King Johan walks out to the mound :) |

I'm taking $antana out of my fantasy lineup tonight.
The Phillies are gonna bust a move this series and it begins tonight with the Mets tough guy. All the other Metlets are going to wilt from it. Like the good chokers they still are. |

Phillies are a LOCK to sweep this series. The writing is on the wall. Can't fathom why the Mets would even bother showing up.
I wonder why StarRider didn't pick up Joe Blanton and insert him in his fantasy lineup. His lack of faith in his team amuses me. |

What's up with Wagner this series?
Did he come down with the Philly flu or is his chokeazoid muscle acting up? |

Wags is taking a well needed rest. The Amazins need him for the stretch run. See, unlike the Phillies, this series isn't really that important to the Mets.
One WS in 124 years. Never forget |

I can't believe I'm the only one who cared about Jerome Holtzman dying. I guess its because he was a Chicago guy.
What I can believe is that the White Sox are beginning their fade, right on schedule. I'm telling ya...Detroit is gonna win that division. |
