WTF? If The Dark Knight isn't extremely or persistently violent, I don't know what is.

My fave sequence with him was when he was Spoiler [+] dressed up as the nurse. "Hi!" to Harvey Dent. LOL. I did kinda think the Dent subplot was a distraction and coulda been saved for another movie. That's my only real complaint. Why do sequels always have to be "bigger" with multiple villians? SpiderMan 3 anyone?

And that's hard for me to admit because I'm a Marvel whore. . My one slight complaint it is a bit long. I thought it would end with Harvey burning half his face (+ final battle with the Joker) and that would be the setup for the next movie. Seems like they wasted a perfectly good vilain with Two-face. They're due for a female vilain, though as already mentionned, catwoman has already had her own spinoff movie. After this really creepy looking version of Two-Face and the Joker, I guess they could make a really menacing Penguin. Or a less cartoonish version of Poison Ivy, The Riddler or even Mr. Freeze.

My only gripe: Spoiler [+] Two-Face had much more potential and could have been a much more effective villain if he was set aside for the inevitable next movie in the series. His role in the movie should have just ended with the hospital scene. That final showdown after the Joker's capture was simply anticlimactic. With a superhero movie, I'd rather see one really effective villain (the first Tim Burton Batman, Spiderman 1 and 2) than a bunch of villains that aren't fully developed. (Spiderman 3, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin.)

Did anyone else catch when Lucius Fox said something like "But it won't protect against cats." I thought that was a clue to something. Bingo. And Nolan has already said he refuses to do a Batman movie with the Penguin; he thinks the villain is too unbelievable and he couldn't possibly ground it in realism. And no, Anthony Michael Hall isn't the Riddler...thank God. I was thinking maybe Mr. Reese would be set-up as the Riddler, too, but yeah -- they're not going to have some unknown play the part. What has that kid been in anyway? He looked so familiar.

He was magnificent. I wish the entire movie revolved him. The scenes with Bruce Wayne/Batman bored me. God, how I hate Bale's voice as Batman. W-T-F!?!? Sounds like he has a cold.
