The surge is working about three years too late, Ruggy, a few billion dollars and several thousand lost lives later. I know you'd like to erase the last few years. You weren't even paying attention anyway, consistently justifying Bush's decisions every step of the way. Yet now you're heralding the surge, which wouldn't have been needed if everything hadn't been fucked up by Bush and Co. in the first place. So you're admitting Iraq was fucked up then?
Uh-oh. Did Ruggy just flip flop? FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP Flop away like a dying fish!
And the Taliban in AFGHANISTAN are now killing more US soliders.
Yeah the Iraq War did not go as planned but wars never do. We have a plan and so does the enemy. The side that adapts better wins. It took time and the right leaders and the right strategy to win the war in Iraq but you could say that about the Civil War. Are you saying Lincoln was a fuckup? There was no flip flop on my part. I've always had confidence that our military would succeed. It was the "surrender now" Dems that I was always worried about.
