Kelli's outfit was ruined by the coffee filter bodice. Nothing could have been less flattering on a flat-chested model. Everything else was great, but that
was enough to make me go "Ewww". Compare that to Daniel's cup dress that was SOOOO flattering to the model's chest! Of course, it would have
been better if he had done an even-more-exaggerated hourglass silhouette. Two inches smaller at the waist, and I would have loved it!
I actually thought Jennifer's paper towel dress was the best of the night. My favorites week one are ALWAYS in the "safe" group... I also liked Wesley's, but thought that the proportions would have been MUCH better if the bottom had been a few inches longer...
Stella's wasn't so bad to me. It struck me as being very indicative of her point of view as a designer, and I thought the model looked good in it. Yeah, it's a jacked-up material, but THAT'S THE CHALLENGE! Other than the material, I'm not sure why it's that much different from the draped shit Rami did...
