I will admit that I'm not really a David Bowie fan at all, but even so, there are a few of his songs that I know...and so far, only one of them has
actually been sung tonight. Maybe that's why I'm not enjoying these performances.
Theo does his usual thing with the piano. There's almost nothing bad I can say about it, except that for a second he kind of looked like Paul Clifford, which was not a good thing. But yeah, Theo = great, although this performance was a little boring. Also, I just have to give Theo props for being a classically trained music major. That's a nice change from all the "I'm in a band" people.

I could really see it only being Portugal Cove voting for him and everyone else in NL hating him. I hope he's out tomorrow but I'm not holding out too
much hope.
Theo is up next, he did a BA in Music at the University of Lethbridge, and he loves Wakeboarding and his family. He made an excellent song choice, can't remember the name of it though. Playing the piano and totally owning it. Great vocal, sounds excellent. Great performance. Jake says he's in a completely different league with a few others. Sass said he's in a league of his own. Farley said he's the most well rounded performer ever on the show and siad he's a really good singer. Zack liked that he didn't shave, he thought the singing was good but predictable. He said he's going to be there for long time but he's not that exciting. Zack is very obviously annoyed the raked Amberly over the coals, and I have to say I like Theo but I love bitchy Zack. |

I hope I hope he goes. Adam, his brother is HOT! Jebus with the motorcycle. And then he made my ears bleed with that song. GAH. Mark...OMG. I'm laughing so hard I'm about ready to fall out of my chair. YOU.NEED.TO.DIE.NOW. Mookie...that was really good. Mookie's mom is a nutjob, though. Amberly....now that was good. I haven't like her in the past, but she did really well tonight. and I'm waiting for the rest to upload....

It's very obvious they need to go back to doing Canadian Hits for the Top 10 theme. It was always a great way to kick off the show and everyone made great
song choices. Growing up in Canada I'm sure it's a great comfort zone thing to be able to pick from your favourite Canadian artist and not some random
theme you may or may not know. I think the comfort level always lead to great Top 10 performances and lack of nerves on the first night.
Mitch is a carpenter and wants to build his own house someday. He chose "Moon Age Daydream." I actually really enjoyed it. I liked his voice on the song and I liked the guitar. I thought it was a pretty good performance too. It was different and cool. |

Mitch has two different colour eyes tonight, just like Drew. Too bad Drew got to perform before Mitch...
OMG, the "phone book" comment! It happens every season. I like Mitch. I like the tone and quality of his voice, and I think he generally has great control. So personally, I really like it. |

They need to bring back the Canadian Hits night for Top 10. David Bowie night was not a good call, in my opinion. Too many obscure song choices, not enough
interesting performances...who knows. Anyway:
