Mary comes across as very quiet and meek, <Sherea is shown, as she says "Mm hmm"> but <pause> she's a competitor too. <The camera turns to show a view of Brooke> Brooke: <to Tracy> At least we know we're not being voted out… <Sherea now smiles widely> Jeff Probst: <narration> But because of her friendship with Ian and a possible upcoming betrayal, Brooke feared having him on the jury… <Another view of Brooke is then shown next> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: We're all assuming based on the past that this is gonna be a Final Two and a jury of seven, <Kathy and Mikey are now shown walking along the beach> and whoever goes tonight is not part of the jury, so it could be a really smart move for me to take out Ian now. <A wide view of several Rubak members sitting by the fire is then shown next> Jeff Probst: <narration> …so she convinced her alliance to switch their votes to Ian. <Ian is shown> Brooke: I just think it showed that Ian's a bigger threat, <long pause> and we've all said that the strongest ones have to go. <There is a brief silence, as the camera scrolls across several Rubak members> I'm voting Ian, but only if everybody else is… <'Tally the Vote' plays, as the camera fades into an aerial view of the Tribal Council village, and then shows the ten Rubak members sitting down> Jeff Probst: <narration> At Tribal Council, Brooke's plan worked, <Rapid clips of several castaways holding up their votes for Ian are shown> but the tribe got a big surprise when they learned that Ian was the first member of the jury. <Jeff is now shown revealing the deciding vote to the castaways> Jeff Probst: Tenth person voted out of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites, and the first member of our jury: <The camera shows Brooke's jaw immediately dropping> Ian. <The camera shows a flabbergasted Ian standing up, before zooming out to show the entire Rubak tribe> Ian: Wow, like, you think you know people… <Ian now places his torch into the slot in front of Jeff> Jeff Probst: Ian, the tribe has spoken. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as Jeff snuffs out Ian's torch> Jeff Probst: <narration> Nine are left. <A wide view of the nine remaining Rubak members is now shown> Who will be voted out tonight? <The camera shows the castaways grabbing their torches, and then zooms out to show them walking out of the Tribal Council village. Rubak Tribe - Night 25
<'King Gong' plays, as the camera shows an infrared view of several palm trees, and clouds can be seen shifting rapidly behind them. The camera now fades out to show several rats picking at a rotten coconut, before switching angles to show a clip of the nine remaining Rubak members returning back to camp. Eliza and Tracy can be seen walking beside each other> Eliza: Well, that was an interesting twist: <short pause> "first member of the jury…" <A spooky sound is heard, as the camera abruptly turns to Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Tribal Council tonight was pretty much the worst thing that could have happened for me. <laughs> <An infrared view of Brooke is shown, as she sets her torch up against the shelter> You know, we could have easily voted Mary off, <Another clip of a fired-up Mary is shown> but I didn't want Ian to be a part of the jury, and <long pause> everything was going fine until Jeff read that vote and said Ian was gonna be the first juror, so I was definitely blindsided. <The camera returns back to Brooke> Not a good feeling… <laughs> Aras: This is a nightmare! <The camera turns to Alexis, who has a surprised look on her face> Alexis: I didn't see that one coming at all… <The infrared camera now zooms in on Aras> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: Tonight we went to Tribal Council, and Ian was voted out. I was completely shocked; <Another close-up view of Mary is shown, as she takes a short pause> I definitely thought that Sherea or Tracy was gonna be voted out, <Quick clips of both Sherea and Tracy are shown> so <pause> you know, I was shocked almost to the point of being speechless, <The infrared camera focuses back in on Mary again> but that's another great example of how you never really know what's going to happen at Tribal Council. <Aras is then shown, as Alexis can be heard saying something inaudible> Aras: <to Alexis> I was fooled; <short pause> I had no idea… <Mary can be heard saying "I'm completely blown away," as the camera continues to focus on Aras for a few seconds> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: With Ian going home tonight, there's way too many women in this tribe for me to feel safe. <laughs> <The infrared camera shows a wide view of Tracy, Brooke, Kathy, and Sherea> You know, I feel like I kindof went from the king to the servant, <laughs> and it's very possible that I could go home next unless I'm somehow able to pull off another Immunity. <A clip of the Immunity necklace hanging from Aras' torch is shown, before the camera returns to him again> I don't want to rely solely on winning Immunity to stay in the game, but I will if I have to. <The camera focuses back in on Aras again> Aras: It is what it is; <Mary says "Yep"> I just wish it wasn't… <A prominent sound is heard, before the camera scrolls over to Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Aras had thought that myself, Sherea, and Kathy were gonna vote for Tracy, <Tracy is shown sitting in the shelter> and then they ended up voting for Sherea, which came right out of left field. <Another close-up view of Aras and Mary is shown> Aras: I bet they were feeding each other information since the merge… <Mary now nods> Mary: <to Aras> Totally… <The infrared camera then cuts back to Brooke again> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I mean, Aras tries to be smarter than he is in this game, and <pause> he's lucky he won that Immunity Challenge. <The camera fades out to show Aras again> You know, that's pretty much the only reason he's here, because I definitely don't think he could strategize his way out of a wet paper bag… <laughs> <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the infrared camera shows another clip of Mary, Alexis, and Aras> Aras: It would have been me if I didn't have Immunity… <Mary can be seen nodding her head> Mary: <to Aras> I mean, I'm just shocked and disappointed in Brooke and Sherea. <The camera shows another close-up view of Aras next> Aras: <to Mary> But we voted for Sherea too, remember? <Mary says "I know"> So we can't just blast them because we didn't stay loyal either… <Alexis and Mary are shown again> Mary: <to Aras> No, but something needs to be said; <short pause> we have to say something. <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as the infrared camera shows a close-up view of the Rubak tribe's flickering fire, and then scrolls over to an expressionless Brooke. The camera then zooms out to show several Rubak members, as Mary walks over to Brooke> Mary: <talking loudly> Okay, you finally crossed the line! <Both Brooke and Sherea can be seen looking up at Mary> I really don't want to fight, but I can't believe you could be such a bitch! <Mary says "And Sherea too," as the infrared camera zooms in on Brooke> Brooke: <to Mary> How dare you talk to me like that, Mary! <Mary is then shown again> Mary: <to Brooke> You had no reason to form another alliance behind our backs! <Sherea can now be seen tensing her expression, as the camera returns to Brooke> Brooke: <to Mary> That's exactly what you did! <Mary is heard saying something inaudible> You know, and I'm not gonna have this conversation with you right now… <Mary is shown> Mary: Okay… <Another close-up view of a defensive Brooke is shown next> Brooke: <to Mary> I did what I thought was best for myself in the game, <The camera shows a side view of Eliza> and… <An agitated Mary is then shown again, as she interrupts Brooke> Mary: Well, you can't vote us all out at once; <short pause> just one of us… <Mary's voice now trails off, as the camera switches angles to show another view of Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: You know, I had been watching Mary kindof huffing and puffing, and I definitely could sense a catfight brewing, <A wide view of several Rubak members gathered around the fire is shown> so I wasn't surprised at all when she confronted us… <The infrared camera switches angles to show a close-up view of Brooke> Brooke: <to Mary> You better take a look at yourself before you blame me and Sherea… <A close-up view of Sherea is shown, before the infrared camera goes back to Mary> Mary: <to Brooke> Well, we should be angry if we're on the chopping block! <Mikey is shown watching uncomfortably, as the infrared camera focuses on him, and then turns to Sherea> Sherea: <to Mary> Just stop. <The camera now scrolls over to Mary again> Mary: That's fine; <short pause> I'll stop. <The camera then cuts back to Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I think Mary was admitting to herself that they screwed up by voting for Sherea, <Mary can be heard saying "I have nothing else to say"> and was just trying to put it back on us, <Brooke and Sherea are shown again> which is typical of people who know they're in the wrong, but <long pause> I mean, let her have disdain for my decision. <The camera scrolls across several Rubak members> I've got my game face on, and I'm ready for the last fourteen days. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the screen fades out>
Rubak Tribe - Day 26
<'Meditator' plays, as the camera shows a view of the Rubak tribe's teal boat anchored out in the ocean and large raindrops pour down. The camera then cuts ahead to show a faraway view of the nine castaways sitting together in their shelter, as a flash of lightning can be seen illuminating the sky. A close-up view of Kathy is then shown next> Kathy: The whole ocean just lit up… <The camera now scrolls over to a miserable Mikey> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Today is the 26th day since we've been out here. <Mikey can be heard groaning, as he sits up> Every day you get up you feel a little bit weaker. You know, we're not getting our daily dose of protein; <The camera scrolls across several Rubak members> that's for damn sure, <laughs> and <long pause> I'm just tired of getting pelted with rain day after day and night after night. <A wide view of the tribe's main camp area is shown, as rain continues to fall> The rain just kills you…<Mikey is then shown putting his head back down, as he pulls his teal buff down over his face. Mary and Alexis are both shown next> Mary: Why does it always have to rain? <laughs> <The camera goes back to Mikey again> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The conditions are horrible, but <pause> I'm gonna be in it for the long haul. <The camera continues to focus on Mikey for a few seconds> That's a guarantee… <A fast-forwarded view of the sky is now shown, as the rain stops, and the camera fades out to show Eliza pouring beans out into a pot> Eliza: <to Mikey> Well, we have a swimming pool, but at least there's still a fire, right? <Mikey can be seen walking towards the fire, as she steps in a large puddle> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: The dynamic of the Rubak tribe has definitely changed now that Aras' alliance has been "dethroned," <The camera shows a side view of Mikey, as he tends to the fire> but the one thing that's kindof stayed the same is that the Mary/Aras "romance" couldn't possibly be more obnoxious. <laughs> <A clip of Mary and Aras lying in the shelter together is then shown> Seeing them with their hands all over each other pretty much makes me want to throw up… <A close-up view of a pot of beans cooking over the fire is shown, before the camera zooms out to show the entire Rubak tribe sitting around the fire> Aras: [Inaudible] …we've been cooking too much. <A view of Mary is shown, as she looks up> Mary: <to Eliza> Maybe you could stop cooking so much then. <The camera then cuts back to a shrugging Eliza, who has an annoyed look on her face> Eliza: <to Mary> Well, I'm not the only one who's been cooking it, so… <Eliza is shown again> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Actually, Mary's starting to become like the Queen Bitch around camp just because she's upset that Ian got voted off and she's being really pissy to Sherea and Brooke, <The camera shows Sherea rolling her eyes at Mary> and then Aras is trying to be more helpful around camp again, <A clip of Aras washing one of the pots in the shallow waters is shown> so it's just funny to see how they both reacted to it. <The camera then cuts ahead to show a clip of Alexis and Mary talking in a jungle area> Alexis: <to Mary> I feel like we're the two who got a bad rap, <Brooke and Sherea are then shown again> you know, because he didn't make any kind of alliance with them… <The camera now zooms in on Mary, as she subtly nods> Mary: <to Alexis> I'm sure it wasn't intentional. <Another view of Alexis is shown next> Alexis: <to Mary> But, I mean, would you vote off Aras if he didn't win Immunity? <Alexis pauses, as the camera scrolls around both Rubak women> If it meant keeping you in the game? <Mary is shown with a thoughtful expression on her face> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: Alexis and I had a conversation this morning, and <pause> now that the Final Four alliance that we had with Aras and with Ian has been broken up, <The camera fades out to show another clip of an unsuspecting Aras> I would definitely be willing to vote out Aras in order to advance further in the game. <The camera returns to Mary again> Mary: <to Alexis> I'm absolutely committed to winning the game… <Alexis is now shown> Alexis: <to Mary> Me too; <long pause> that's why I think you should not get on Brooke and Sherea's bad sides. <The camera fades out to show a clip of Sherea and Brooke> From now on, I'm not listening to anymore of Aras' plans, you know? <The camera then returns to Alexis> He's on thin ice, girl… <laughs> <Mary is then shown staring ahead> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, I haven't gotten to where I am in my life by always telling the truth, so <long pause> I'm definitely willing to be a little dishonest if I have to be. <A close-up view of Mary is shown next> Why shouldn't I? <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows a clip of a sea snake slithering along the beach, and then cuts ahead to show a fast-forwarded view of the sky, indicating that it is later in the day. A comical music then begins to play, as the camera fades out to show the nine Rubak members lying lazily around camp, and then zooms in on Eliza> Eliza: <talking aloud> What is going on with this Reward Challenge? <Brooke is then shown> Brooke: We should have definitely had treemail by now. <Indistinct chatter can be heard, as the camera scrolls across several castaways, and then focuses in on Tracy> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: The days without challenges are so long, and <pause> that's the one thing you don't really see when you're watching Survivor at home; <The camera shows a wide view of Mary, Alexis, and Sherea> you know, you're literally up with the sun and go to bed when it's dark, <A rapid clip of Eliza is shown next> and it's the longest day when you're at camp 90% of the time… <The camera now goes back to Tracy again> Tracy: I'm telling you, this day feels like ten; <Tracy takes a short pause, as the camera shows a close-up view of Mikey> I would honestly think this morning was last week if I didn't know any better… <Another view of Aras is shown next> Aras: Guys, I don't think we're having a Reward Challenge today! <laughs> <The camera scrolls across several Rubak members, and then zooms in on an antsy Eliza> Eliza: I wonder why… <The camera then focuses back in on Aras for a few seconds> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: You really do become dependent on challenges to break up those long periods of monotony, <Mikey is shown eating a piece of coconut> and today we're just like "What's going on? Where's treemail? Blah, blah, blah," but <pause> it's kindof like they just forgot about us. <laughs> <Another close-up view of Sherea is now shown> Sherea: There better be a Reward of somethin'… <The camera abruptly turns to Eliza> Eliza: I'm gonna so afraid to sleep tonight incase there's a challenge in the middle of the night… <laughs> <The camera zooms out to show the entire Rubak tribe> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> And it's difficult, especially when you get into a routine, you know, where you expect something to happen at a set time. <Kathy is shown> I find myself getting a little paranoid. <laughs> <The camera cuts back to a nervous Tracy again> Tracy: I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows rapid clips of each of the uneasy Rubak members. The defeated castaways can then be seen walking back up their beach, as the camera zooms in on Alexis> Alexis: I think it's actually gonna be nice; <short pause> just the five of us… <Aras is heard saying "Yeah," as the camera shows him setting the teal challenge flag down> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: We went in to what we thought was a Reward Challenge and it turned out to be combined Reward and Immunity, <A clip of Tracy and Mikey both sitting in the shallow ocean waters is shown> plus the three people that won got the added perk of being able to miss Tribal Council entirely, <The camera now scrolls over to Kathy> so <long pause> I mean, it sucks to miss out on a Reward, but I knew that we basically had to let Purple win the challenge in order to guarantee three and three… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows a clip of Alexis and Aras in the shelter> Alexis: <to Aras> I mean, did you see me just taking it slow and letting them win? <Aras can be heard saying "That was smart"> Mikey was fighting though; I could have kicked him… <The camera now cuts back to Mikey, Kathy, and Tracy again> Mikey: <talking loudly> I was trying to say, you know, that our team had to win, <Tracy now says "I know"> and then everybody was just going nuts on Orange! <Another view of Tracy is shown next, as she subtly nods her head> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: My alliance right now is with Kathy, Mike, Eliza, Sherea, and Brooke: <short pause> six people. <Kathy and Mikey are shown again, as Mikey says something inaudible> You know, we were all so focused on not letting Aras, Mary, or Alexis win that we didn't even stop to consider the numbers, <Aras can be seen scooping rice out of a pot> and what we should have done is: we should've let Alexis' team win the Reward. <The camera returns to a frustrated Mikey, as he continues to ramble on about the challenge> Mikey: That's why, if Green won, <Kathy is shown with a slight smirk on her face> it would have been our four votes against their two <A clip of Aras and Alexis is shown> and it wouldn't have mattered who went to Exile Island… <Tracy can be seen shifting her expression, as she pats Mikey several times on the knee to calm him> Tracy: <to Mikey> We can't worry about that now; you gotta work with me, okay? <The camera continues to focus on a thoughtful-looking Tracy for a few seconds> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> But I think Alexis caught on that her team needed to win, <A side view of Alexis is shown next> and now Kathy, Mike, and myself, we're all vulnerable tonight; <short pause> if we can't get them to divide their votes, one of us could go home. <The camera then switches angles to show a close-up view of Kathy> Kathy: So I guess we have three votes for Aras while he doesn't have Immunity… <Another wide view of Kathy, Mikey, and Tracy is then shown, as the camera zooms out> Tracy: I have a feeling they're gonna vote against me, but… <Mikey is then shown next> Mikey: <to Tracy> It's gonna be one of us... <Several prominent drumbeats are heard, as the camera shows the Rubak tribe's flag and then scrolls down to show several crabs clustering beneath it. Alexis and Aras are shown lying in the shelter, as the camera zooms in on Aras> Aras: <to Alexis> They tried to keep us from getting Immunity, <Alexis says "Yep"> but they ended up giving us the best position possible… <Alexis can be seen turning towards Aras> Alexis: <to Aras> I just feel bad for Mary though… <Aras runs his hand through his hair> Aras: <to Alexis> I know; that sucks. <Another close-up view of Alexis is shown next> I mean, it's like, we can't strategize; <Alexis says "No kidding"> we can't conspire… <The camera continues to focus on Alexis for a few seconds> Alexis: <to Aras> But that's how quick the game can change out here… <There is a mysterious shift in the music, as the camera zooms out to show both Alexis and Aras again> Aras: <to Alexis> How are we gonna let her know how to vote? <A thoughtful Alexis is shown> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: The other twist to the challenge today was that someone went to Exile Island and the fact that they chose Mary, <The camera cuts back to Tracy, Mikey, and Kathy, who are still sitting by the ocean> you know, that makes it even more difficult for us because now we have to figure out some sort of signal to let Mary know how we're gonna vote tonight, <The camera zooms in on Kathy> and if she doesn't get it, that could give them the majority right there, so it's like, "What can you really do?!" <The camera switches angles to show another clip of both Aras and Alexis in the shelter> Aras: They're gonna vote for me, obviously. <A close-up view of a thoughtful Alexis is shown> Alexis: <whispering> I think if we're playing smart, Ar, we should vote for Kathy; <An eerie sound is heard, as the camera fades out to show another clip of Kathy> it's an opportunity to take out either Tracy or Mikey B because they'd have to pull the rock. <Aras is now shown> Aras: So Kathy's not gonna go home… <The camera zooms back in on Alexis> Alexis: <to Aras> No. <Another close-up view of Aras is then shown next> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: So basically the situation right now is myself, Alexis, and hopefully Mary are gonna vote for Kathy tonight <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as Kathy is shown again> because if no one switches their vote after the tie, which I'm assuming no one's going to, <The camera then scrolls over to Mikey> Kathy will get Immunity and Mikey or Tracy will have a 50% chance of going home, <Tracy is then shown next> but it's dependent on Mary, and, so <long pause> am I trying to communicate with her right now through our energy? Absolutely… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out> |

Exile Island - Day 27
<'Lo Tide' plays, as the camera shows a faraway overhead view of several tropical islands and then rapidly flies over to Exile Island and zooms in on it. A side view of the beach is then shown, as Mary can be seen climbing out of the boat and then looking around> Mary: <talking aloud> This is extreme… <The camera continues to focus on Mary> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: I just arrived on Exile Island for the first time in the game, <A close-up view of a coconut is shown, as Mary chops into it> and yeah, you know, it's probably not the best timing when there's Tribal Council tonight, <laughs> <Mary can be seen eating a piece of coconut> but <long pause> the girls sending me here is a chance to find the hidden Immunity Idol, <The camera now shows Mary striking the flint with the machete> so even though I'm sure that's not what their intentions were, I'm definitely not gonna say "No." <laughs> <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the music speeds up and the camera shows Mary climbing to the top of the wooden hut. She then examines the first hidden Immunity Idol clue> Mary: Clue #1: <short pause> To find the next clue, these steps you must follow: It's inside a tree trunk; one that is hollow. <The camera fades out to show a hollowed-out tree trunk> Climb back down the ladder and into the sea; <A clip of Mary climbing down the wooden ladder is shown> The place you first landed holds Immunity. <The camera then fades out to show Mary swimming back to the island, and focuses on her for a few seconds> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: I just read the first clue, which tells me the second set of information is inside a hollowed-out tree trunk on "the place I first landed," <Mary is shown wandering around a forested area> which would be this island I'm on now. <A prominent sound is heard, as Mary crouches down and pulls the second clue out of the tree trunk> You know, Jason and Mikey have already found the other two idols, <A clip of Mary walking under a rocky overhang is shown> so it'd be nice to find one for the women, <laughs> and <pause> I'm pretty confident I can find it; <Mary is now shown climbing up a grassy hill> I already got two clues… <A close-up view of the blazing sun is shown, before the camera shows an aerial view of Exile Island, and then fades out to show a clip of Mary swimming in the ocean again> Mary: <to camera> I'm looking for another clue on the seabed, but <pause> the problem is the water's getting deeper and I can't see under… <The camera continues to show Mary> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: It is extremely hard to survive on Exile Island by yourself, <Mary is heard saying "I'm seeing some little fish"> but the biggest disadvantage for me is having no time to strategize with my alliance, <Mary is now shown dipping her head underwater to look around for the clue, before a clam is shown> no time to discuss our voting options and make sure we're all on the same page. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera cuts back to the main island, where Mary can be seen crouched down in front of her fire> Mary: <to camera> You know, I didn't find the next clue, but I found this clam so I'm just going to cook it… <Mary is shown putting a piece of clam over her fire, as it sizzles> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> My vote tonight will most likely be for Tracy just because that's kindof what we were all thinking for the last Tribal Council, <Mary is now shown eating a piece of the clam meat, as she says "I never thought you'd be my lunch"> but definitely, you know, plans may have changed this afternoon and I'm gonna be keeping my eyes peeled for any type of clue or signal from Aras and Alexis. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows an aerial view of Exile Island and the screen fades out>
Rubak Tribe - Reward
<'The Sun King' plays again, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sky and then fades into an aerial view of the Micronesian village. The camera then fades out to show the three Rubak women lying together in the traditional bai, before zooming in on Sherea> Sherea: <to camera> It's wonderful; <short pause> we're here at a village in Micronesia, and this is definitely the best Reward so far… <A close-up view of Eliza is now shown next> Eliza: <to Sherea> The amount of food that we had, <Sherea says "Mm hmm"> like, I literally thought I wasn't gonna be able to eat it all. <laughs> <'MicroNista' begins to play, as the camera shows a snake slithering in the jungle, and then shows a faraway view of the bai. Another view of Brooke, Eliza, and Sherea is shown, as the eerie music continues to play> Brooke: It feels really good to not have the target on our backs… <Eliza is shown nodding> Eliza: I'm sure back at Rubak beach, things are probably going crazy <A close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Sherea is shown> and I'm sure they'll be plotting and scheming until Tribal Council… <The camera now returns back to Eliza again> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Things are really up in the air at camp right now because there's three members of Aras' alliance, <The camera scrolls across the three Rubak women> and then there's three members of mine and Brooke's and Sherea's alliance, and they're all gonna be vying to come out on top of the vote… <Another close-up view of Eliza is shown next> Eliza: There's five Fans, and only one Favorite, <Brooke says "Yeah"> not that that seems to be a big deal at this point. <Sherea is now shown, as the camera zooms in on her> Sherea: Well, hopefully they can get Alexis to vote Aras… <Eliza is then shown again> Eliza: I'm hoping, just hoping, that Aras is voted off tonight, because Mary might not vote with them; <Sherea can now be seen nodding her head dramatically, as Eliza pauses> that'll make my day a lot better tomorrow… <laughs> <The camera turns back to Eliza> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I would hate for Mikey or Tracy to go the most because we promised each other that the old Airai would go to the Final Three, <The camera continues to focus on Eliza for a few seconds> and even though I'm still not 100% sure if that's the Final Three I would want, um, I still want to keep those people around... <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera switches angles to show Brooke> Brooke: You know, I'm thinking just <short pause> us three for the top three because we've been loyal since the beginning. <An uneasy Eliza is shown looking up nervously, before the camera turns to a smiling Sherea> Sherea: <to Brooke> That's what I was gonna do anyway… <Eliza now says "Yeah"> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Everything is still going almost as planned around here, as far as our six-person alliance, <Rapid clips of Eliza and Sherea are shown> but <long pause> if we had to lose one of the three Fans to a purple rock tonight, it definitely wouldn't be the end of the game for any of us. <Another close-up view of Brooke is shown next> Brooke: If one of them goes home tonight, then we have the numbers over the remaining two… <The camera continues to focus on a contemplative Brooke for a few seconds> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I mean, it would definitely be more advantageous for that to happen tonight because we would avoid the Fans/Favorites tie-breaker situation at the Final Six, <Both Eliza and Sherea are shown again> Eliza, Sherea, and I can't go home from the purple rock, and we'd keep numbers on our side, so <long pause> I'm almost hoping for that to happen… <The camera goes back to Brooke> Brooke: Victory is sweet… <The three Rubak women are now shown holding up their coconut shells, which contain Micronesian beer, in a toast> Eliza: Cheers! <laughs> <Sherea and Brooke can both be heard saying "Cheers," as the camera abruptly switches to an overhead view of the bai. The screen then fades out>
Rubak Tribe - Day 27
<A mysterious music plays, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of the Rubak tribe's island and scrolls around it, before fading out to show the tide washing onto the shore and against a crab. A close-up view of the Rubak tribe's flag is then shown, before the camera shows Alexis and Aras lying in the shelter, and then cuts back to Tracy, Mikey, and Kathy again> Tracy: We need to figure out between the three of us what we need to do… <The camera abruptly switches angles to show an uncooperative Mikey> Mikey: <talking loudly> I'm not going home from a friggin' rock! <Kathy can now be seen shifting her expression> Okay?! I'll tell you that right now, so… <Tracy is then shown next> Tracy: <to Mikey> So are you saying you're gonna vote with them? <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera switches angles to show another clip of a slightly annoyed Mikey> Mikey: <to Tracy> No, that's not what I'm saying, if you'd let me finish my sentence! <Another close-up view of Tracy is shown, as she says "Okay"> I'm saying, there might be something that can be done to avoid the tie. <The camera zooms back in on Mikey> If we can get Alexis to vote for Aras, and us three vote Alexis, <Kathy and Tracy are both shown exchanging glances> that's our three versus their two and one… <A close-up view of Tracy is shown> Tracy: <to Mikey> But then Aras stays? <Another view of Mikey is shown next> Mikey: Because if us three vote for Aras, and Alexis doesn't, and it's deadlocked, <The camera fades out to show both Aras and Alexis> he gets Immunity and then we're screwed because he'll probably keep winning the single ones; <short pause> you know what I mean? <Another close-up view of a conflicted Tracy is then shown, as she stares ahead> Tracy: <to Mikey> So you're saying don't vote for Aras… <A wide-eyed Mikey now says "Well…", as the camera continues to focus on her for a few seconds> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: The person who we most want to go home would be Aras, <A clip of Aras walking along the beach is shown> and our back-up choice would be Mary, but we don't want to put all our votes towards Aras because if there's a deadlocked tie, <The camera returns to a contemplative Mikey> Aras would become immune and whoever they vote for becomes immune, and the other four would have to draw rocks. <Rapid clips of several Rubak members are now shown next> Plus, we're trying to bait Alexis into voting Aras so that we can use our three votes to keep a majority… <The camera now zooms back in on Mikey> Mikey: Voting Aras is definitely out… <The camera then cuts back to Tracy again> Tracy: <to Mikey> So why can't we vote off Mary? <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown, as he turns towards Tracy and the camera focuses on him for a few seconds> Mikey: <to Tracy> I just don't think we should vote Mary, just incase if she found the hidden Immunity; <Kathy can be heard saying something inaudible> if she uses that, then it's only their votes that count, you know? <The camera now turns to Kathy> Kathy: <to Mikey> Well, then it sounds like it's Alexis… <Mikey is shown subtly nodding> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Scrambling before Tribal Council is at an absolute height, and there's so many different variables that we all need to think about. <The camera continues to show Mikey, as he speaks to Tracy and Kathy> Because of the three-three split, we're having to vote for the person who we want to stay the most, so <long pause> as it stands right now, Kathy, Mike, and myself, we'll all vote for Alexis, <A clip of an unsuspecting Alexis is shown next> hoping that there is a tie, Alexis will be safe, and Aras or Mary will go home. <There is a prominent sound, as the camera cuts back to Mikey again> Mikey: That's like a perfect plan. <There is an extended silence, as the camera scrolls across Tracy, Kathy, and Mikey> If I do say so myself… <laughs> <An impressed Kathy is shown> Kathy: <to Mikey> Wow; look at you, Mr. Smartypants. <The camera zooms in on Mikey> Mikey: Yeah, I read my rulebook… <Both Kathy and Tracy are then shown> Kathy: I'll yell ya, we got the right guy on our side… <Another view of Mikey is shown next> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, we say now we'll put ourselves at risk, but I'll tell you what: <short pause> none of us are prepared to go home from a random lottery, <A close-up view of Tracy is shown next> and I think Mike is more scared of picking a rock than anyone, so <pause> I just don't know if he's gonna stick with it… <A mysterious shift in the music occurs, as the camera fades out to show Mikey again> Mikey: But again, hopefully Alexis will vote Aras and then we avoid the whole drama with the rocks. <Kathy is shown nodding her head> Maybe we'll even get lucky and Mary'll think she's going home and play the hidden Immunity Idol out of nowhere. <The camera now zooms out show a wide view of Kathy, Tracy, and Mikey again> Kathy: <to Mikey> Yeah; you never know, right?! <laughs> <Mikey is then shown> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: We have to go to Tribal Council tonight with only six of the nine Rubak members, <Rapid views of the six Rubak members are shown> and I am scared to death because of the whole rock situation… <Another clip of Mikey is now shown next> Mikey: Who was it last season that got it? <The camera now zooms back in on Tracy> Tracy: <to Mikey> Denise… <Kathy can be heard saying "Oh, that's right," as Mikey is shown> Mikey: <to Tracy> Yeah, she got screwed! <laughs> <The camera continues to focus on a contemplative Mikey for a few seconds> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I have no clue who's gonna go home, to be honest with ya; <The camera shows rapid clips of each of the Rubak members> you know, I just want someone gone other than me, so <long pause> Alexis is gonna be important to this vote tonight… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as 'Icy Chill' begins to play, and the camera cuts ahead to show Mikey sitting down in the shelter with Alexis> Alexis: <to Mikey> What's goin' on with y'all? Like, what are you guys thinking? <The camera now shows a close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Mikey> Mikey: <to Alexis> Basically, everyone's voting Aras. <A clip of Aras carrying a bundle of firewood is shown> You know, he's the most dangerous in single competitions, so <long pause> if you wanted to vote with us… <Alexis is then shown, as she interjects> Alexis: <to Mikey> And break the tie? <The camera switches angles to show Mikey again> Mikey: <to Alexis> Break the tie, and then have it be all Fans to the Final Five… <Alexis is shown with an uncertain expression on her face> Alexis: <to Mikey> I don't know; <short pause> that's putting myself really out there, you know? <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown, as he shifts his expression> Mikey: <to Alexis> Well, come on! You might be in the Final Four or the Final Three, okay, <Mikey pauses, as the camera goes back to Alexis> but you're not gonna get to the Final Two because you're not gonna beat him when it comes to Immunity; you know what I mean? <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows another clip of Aras> None of us are going to. Alexis: <to Mikey> So vote Aras out? <The camera now switches angles to show Tracy walking nearby, as Mikey motions for her to come over to them> Mikey: <to Tracy> Convince her to vote Aras… <A close-up view of Tracy is shown next> Tracy: <to Alexis> Okay; truthfully, I can see him winning every other Immunity if we don't get him out, <Alexis is now shown subtly nodding her head> and if that happens, it'll be you before him. <Alexis begins to say something, as Tracy continues to speak> If he keeps winning Immunity, we're stuck with him; <short pause> we can't do anything, so it's gotta be a now or never move. <Another close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Alexis is shown> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: I'm definitely willing to entertain voting for Aras tonight, <The camera shows a close-up view of Aras sitting by the fire> but then again, you never know if you can trust what Mikey and Tracy are saying. <The camera now focuses back in on Alexis for a few seconds> Um, it's a really risky move because if I vote on my own for Aras and the three of them vote for me or Mary, <Another view of Tracy and Mikey is shown again> then they'll have numbers and we go home, and that would not be good. <laughs> That would be brutal… <The camera zooms in on Tracy> Tracy: <to Alexis> This is frickin' Final Nine right now. It's time to start playing for yourself and less for your alliance, <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows a pensive Mikey looking up> cause you know what? He'll use you to get to the top, <Mikey can be heard saying "Absolutely"> and this is your chance; <short pause> this is the one time he doesn't have Immunity… <An uncomfortable Alexis is now shown shaking her head dramatically> Alexis: <talking loudly> Ugh, this is terrible! <laughs> <The camera continues to show Alexis> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, we're really trying to outwit not only each other at this point, but each other's alliances as well, so <pause> I have no idea what I'm gonna do; <short pause> I honestly don't… <Several prominent drumbeats are heard, as the camera shows a conflicted Alexis walking away from Mikey and Tracy> Tracy: <calling to Alexis> Just think about it, okay?! <Alexis now turns back towards Tracy> Alexis: <to Tracy> I will… <Alexis can be seen walking further down the beach, before the camera focuses back in on both Tracy and Mikey for a few seconds> Tracy: <to Mikey> She's not gonna do it… <The camera zooms in on a distressed Mikey> Mikey: <to Tracy> You don't think?! <Tracy now shakes her head, as the camera turns to her> Tracy: <to Mikey> No, I don't think she's gonna do it. <Another view of Mikey is shown next> Mikey: [Censored]… <The camera then scrolls back over to Tracy and zooms in on her> Tracy: <to Mikey> And I would say vote for Aras if I thought she was going to, but I just feel like we have to vote for Alexis. <A side view of Mikey is now shown, as he nods> Mikey: Uh huh… <The camera switches angles to show Tracy again> Tracy: <to Mikey> Alexis is playing smarter than we give her credit for, and we need to remember that… <A spooky sound is now heard, as the camera zooms back in on Mikey, and then fades out to show the Rubak tribe's fire flickering> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: This is where the game starts changing; <short pause> you know, you have to be thinking within your alliances, <Another view of Tracy and Kathy is shown> but also for yourself, obviously; <The camera focuses back in on a tense-looking Mikey> outwit, outplay, outlast, and <pause> I haven't been out here 27 days, you know, wracking my brain to come up with all these different strategies to go home because of a rock, you know? <There is a prominent sound, as the camera cuts ahead to show Kathy and Tracy talking> Tracy: <to Kathy> I think Mikey's getting more and more nervous… <Tracy says "He's making himself paranoid," as Kathy is shown with a worried expression on her face> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Especially not where Tracy and Kathy are concerned, so <pause> if there's any chance of that happening tonight, I will switch my vote. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Kathy> Mark my words, buddy; <short pause> mark my words… <'Big Bad Spirits' begins to play. A fast-forwarded view of the darkening sky is now shown, before the camera fades out to show Alexis grabbing her torch> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: The possibility of a purple rock hanging over us is definitely threatening, <The camera scrolls across several Rubak members> but at the same time, I'm not just gonna throw a random vote at Aras and possibly get sent home if they were just trying to split us. <Both Aras and Alexis are now shown standing with their torches> Alexis: <to Aras> Listen to me for a second: <Alexis now pauses, as the camera zooms in on Aras> every time Jeff says Kathy's name, I'm gonna cough noticeably so Mary know what's going on… <Aras can be seen nodding his head> Aras: <to Alexis> Yeah; <short pause> it doesn't matter if they catch on… <Alexis is shown> Alexis: <to Aras> You know, and even just point to Kathy when Mary walks in… <The camera switches angles to show a clip of Tracy, Kathy, and Mikey again> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm definitely anticipating a tie vote at this point, and if the three of them do vote Aras like they said, <A close-up view Aras is shown> I'll consider writing his name down at that point, but <long pause> I don't trust them right now and I wouldn't put it past any of them to do anything to prevent a tie… <Mikey is then shown next> Mikey: <talking aloud> It's gonna be a Tribal tonight! <laughs> <The camera returns to Alexis> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Whatever happens tonight, someone's gonna be incredibly disappointed no matter what, <A wide view of the six Rubak members walking out of camp is shown> and <pause> I just hope it's not me… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as Alexis shrugs, and the screen abruptly fades out> Tribal Council #11 - Rubak Tribe
<'Tally the Vote' begins to play, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sun setting in the darkening sky, and then fades into a faraway view of the Micronesian village Tribal Council. The camera scrolls closer to it, and then fades out again to show a side view of the five Rubak members making their way across the wooden dock. Tracy can be seen setting her torch down, before the camera turns to Mikey, and then zooms out to show all five castaways sitting down at the benches. A close-up view of Jeff is now shown next> Jeff Probst: We'll now bring in Mary, <Mary is shown walking in to the main Tribal Council area> returning from Exile Island. <The five Rubak members are shown looking towards Mary, as Aras and Alexis, who are sitting on the far left of the tribe, can both be seen aggressively pointing to Kathy and trying to write the letter "K" in the air. Mary is shown with a thoughtful expression on her face, before she sits down on the benches with her tribemates. The camera then focuses back in on Jeff again> Jeff Probst: Now bring in your jury: <Jeff takes a short pause, as the camera shows the Rubak members turning their heads again> Ian, voted out at the last Tribal Council… <A wide view of the entire main Tribal Council is shown, as Ian can be seen walking in and glancing over at the six Rubak members with a surprised look on his face> Ian: Whoa; where'd the whole tribe go? <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Ian sitting down on the jury bench. Tracy can be seen shifting her expression, before the camera cuts back to Jeff again> Jeff Probst: Well, let me start by pointing out the obvious: <Jeff now turns towards Ian> for the first time ever, we have three people who are missing a Tribal Council after the merge. <The camera scrolls across the six Rubak members, and then turns back to Jeff> Brooke, Sherea, and Eliza are all away on a Reward; <A close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Ian is shown, as he listens intently> they'll be returning to this tribe at the next Reward Challenge. <Ian is shown subtly nodding his head, as the camera continues to focus on him> Ian: Okay… <A mysterious shift in the music now occurs, as the camera returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: First thing I gotta ask, Alexis: <short pause> glad to not be the one picked to go to Exile Island? <Alexis can be seen nodding her head> Alexis: Um, <short pause> part of me was glad it wasn't me because Mary missed out on a lot of important conversations, <The camera now shows Mikey with a contemplative look on his face> but I mean, it's always sad to see a member from your alliance get sent away, <A quick clip of Aras is then shown next> and <long pause> at this point in the game, you know, who wouldn't want a chance to look for the hidden Immunity Idol? <The camera switches angles to show a close-up view of Tracy, who is listening intently> You know, I feel like Exile Island should be looked at as a welcome opportunity… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Mary raising her eyebrows, and then goes back to Jeff again> Jeff Probst: So Mary, <long pause> tell me about your time on Exile Island. <Another wide view of all six Rubak members is shown> Did you spend any time looking for the hidden Immunity Idol? <The camera shows another view of Mary, as she nods her head> Mary: Well, of course, you know, that could be the key to staying in the game, <A rapid clip of a thoughtful Mikey is then shown> so I definitely looked around a little bit to see what I could find, and <long pause> you know, I think I'll leave it at that. <laughs> <Kathy can be seen making a strange face, as a prominent drumbeat is heard, and the camera cuts back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Aras, <short pause> as arguably one of the bigger physical threats in this tribe, you're sitting here tonight without Immunity. <Tracy is shown looking towards Aras> Does that put a target on your back? <The camera now focuses back in on Aras again> Aras: Not having the Immunity necklace definitely weighs heavily on my mind, because by winning it the first time, I kindof backed myself into a corner, I feel like, <Mary is then shown gazing ahead> where I have to win every time, so <pause> I absolutely feel at risk. <The camera now zooms out to show the entire Rubak tribe> You know, it's the perfect time for them to say "Aras didn't win, so let's take him out tonight," <Tracy can be seen shifting her expression> but <long pause> do I want to go home tonight? Not at all… <Mikey is shown with a thoughtful look on his face, before the camera turns back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Alexis, <short pause> what was your reaction when you got back to the beach this afternoon with only five people? <Another close-up view of Alexis is shown next> Alexis: Oh my God; <short pause> it was such a huge shock. <A thoughtful-looking Mary can be seen listening intently> You know, those three are living it up at a village somewhere and here one of us is about to get voted out, <The camera zooms out to show all six Rubak members> but in the same sense, like, to be perfectly honest, I knew that if my team had've won, Aras or Mary would be 100% going home, <A close-up view of Aras is now shown> so at least with all three of us here we have a 50/50 shot of winning out in a tie… <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera shows Tracy tensing her expression, and then returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Kathy, <Alexis is now shown coughing and clearing her throat> is that just a known fact among the tribe that everyone's expecting a tie vote tonight? <A close-up view of Kathy is then shown, as she nods dramatically> Kathy: That's pretty much a known fact, <Kathy now makes a ditzy face> yeah; <laughs> <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera returns to Jeff again> Jeff Probst: So Mary, <Jeff pauses, as the camera shows a wide view of the entire Rubak tribe> assuming there really is a tie tonight, somebody's gonna win out: <short pause> from the sounds of it, either you, Aras, and Alexis, <A close-up view of Alexis is shown next> or Mikey B, Tracy, and Kathy. <Mary can be heard saying "Right"> After tonight's vote, are you gonna go home to a camp divided? <The camera scrolls across all six Rubak members, and then shows a close-up view of Mary, as she nods her head> Mary: Absolutely; <short pause> I think it's always going to be divided within this six, or within the entire group of nine, <Tracy is then shown listening intently> you know, especially in a tribe with seven women who are all strong and competitive, and sometimes catty. <laughs> <The camera then shows Mikey tensing his expression> I've been a little more on edge the past two days, <Aras can be seen raising his eyebrows> so <pause> um, absolutely, it's gonna be a tribe divided. <The camera focuses back in on Mary again> Having a unified tribe on Day 27 is impossible… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows Kathy with a thoughtful look on her face, and then goes back to Jeff again> Jeff Probst: Aras, <long pause> as we get closer and closer to the vote, <The camera scrolls across several Rubak members, and then zooms in on Aras> can you start to feel paranoia setting in already? <The camera continues to show Aras for a few seconds> Aras: To be honest, Jeff, paranoia started setting in even before the challenge. <Kathy can now be seen nodding her head> I mean, we were all like "What's going on? Are we not having a Reward Challenge?" <laughs> And then to actually get to the challenge today and find out we have Reward, Immunity, Tribal Council, <The camera shows quick views of both Tracy and Mikey> Exile Island all coming at us at once, you know, <short pause> needless to say, there was paranoia, and I'm experiencing it right now… <laughs> <A mysterious shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows a view of the central fire burning, and then returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: There's one other topic we have to talk about: <short pause> the jury. <The camera shows Ian smiling, and then returns to Jeff> The jury is gonna be here observing from now on; <A quick view of Kathy is shown> the person who gets snuffed tonight goes to the jury, so <long pause> the million dollar question, Tracy: <Another view of Jeff is then shown next> how do you vote someone out of the game and then turn around and ask them to vote for you? <The camera now focuses in on Tracy, as she nods her head knowingly> Tracy: That's by far the hardest part, Jeff, because you think you have no control over how the jury votes, <Mary is shown looking up> but I think you just have to, you know, treat everyone else with respect, believe in yourself, <A clip of both Kathy and Mikey is shown> and hopefully at the end of the day, they'll respect and believe in you, <A close-up view of Ian is shown, as he subtly nods his head> but <long pause> whenever you cast a vote for someone here, it could come back to haunt you, <Aras is then shown next> and I think that's something we all need to think about at these next Tribal Councils. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Ian listening intently, and then switches angles to show Jeff again> Jeff Probst: So Mikey B, <short pause> knowing how crucial every single vote is, what does it come down to? <The camera now focuses in on Aras for a few seconds> Is it strictly strategy, or is it "Who do I like?" <Tracy can be seen turning towards Mikey> and "Who do I not want to keep around?" <A rapid view of Alexis is shown, before the camera returns to Mikey> Mikey: It's not personal at all. It's all strategy. <Aras is shown again> Self-preservation, you know? <The camera switches angles to show another view of Jeff> Jeff Probst: How 'bout for you, Alexis? <The camera now zooms back in on Alexis again> Alexis: I definitely agree with Mikey. <Mikey is shown staring into the distance> In fact, I'm voting tonight for someone who I absolutely adore and think the world of, <A wide view of the entire Rubak tribe is shown next> but it's entirely for strategic reasons and for self-preservation. <The camera shows a close-up view of Kathy, who turns her head> You know, I haven't made one vote based on personal reasons or who I don't get along with because I know it's a game, <The camera focuses back in on Alexis again> and for a million dollars, I'm able to put that aside… <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera shows Mikey with a strange expression on his face, and then cuts back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Alright; <short pause> let's get to the vote. <The camera switches angles to show Kathy> If somebody does have the hidden Immunity Idol and it turns out you want to play it tonight, <Rapid clips of both Aras and Mary are shown> you would present it to me before I read the votes. <Another close-up view of Jeff is shown next> Jeff Probst: It's time to vote. <The camera now shows another wide view of the six Rubak members> Kathy, you're up. <Alexis can be heard coughing, as Mary turns her head towards Alexis. The camera shows Kathy standing up and walking past the central fire, before scrolling over to Ian, who is staring ahead>
<The camera shows a close-up view of a flickering flame and then fades out to show Kathy arriving at the voting confessional. Aras can then be seen gazing down at the ground, before the camera fades out to show Alexis placing her folded piece of parchment into the voting urn. A side view of Aras is then shown, as he makes his way across the main Tribal Council area. The camera now cuts ahead to show him holding his vote up to the camera: Kathy> Aras: Kathy, I'm just playing the game strategically. <The camera shows a close-up view of Kathy> We'd rather vote off Tracy or Mikey. <Rapid views of both Mikey and Tracy are now shown next> You're fun though… <Aras places his folded vote into the urn, before the camera fades out to show Mary walking up to the voting confessional. Tracy is shown turning her head, as the camera shows a quick view of Alexis signaling to Mary, and then cuts ahead to show Mary placing her folded piece of parchment into the voting urn> Mary: I really, really hope this is the right vote… <Mikey is then shown uncapping the pen. He begins to write a name down on his piece of parchment, before the camera fades out to show a close-up view of an uneasy Aras, and then cuts ahead to show Tracy standing up. Tracy is shown walking past a watchful Ian, before the camera shows the other five Rubak members and then returns to Tracy, as she holds up her vote: Alexis> Tracy: <whispering> This is only because we're expecting a tie vote and you're the safest choice to go with. <The music becomes more dramatic, as the camera shows a close-up view of an unsuspecting Alexis> Hopefully Aras picks the purple rock… <The camera then scrolls over to a burning torch. A prominent sound is then heard, as Tracy places her folded vote into the urn. Alexis is then shown staring ahead with a slight smirk on her face, before the camera zooms out to show the entire Rubak tribe and Tracy sits back down at the benches.
Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the votes. <Jeff walks out of sight, as the camera abruptly fades into a close-up view of an uncomfortable Aras. Mary is shown staring ahead with a nervous expression on her face, before the camera shows quick clips of both Tracy and Alexis. Mikey is then shown with a confident look on his face, before the camera fades out to show Jeff walking back onto the screen with the voting urn in his hands> Jeff Probst: If anybody has the hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, <Another close-up view of an unsuspecting Mary is shown> now would be the time to do so. <The camera shows Kathy and Alexis both turning towards Mary, as an eerie shift in the music occurs. A view of a flame flickering wildly is shown next, before the camera fades out to show both Tracy and Aras. Mary is then shown again, as she remains still and silent. Jeff is now shown> Jeff Probst: Okay. <long pause> Once the votes are read, the decision is final. <A mysterious sound is heard, as the camera shows a quick view of Mikey> Person voted out'll be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. <A wide view of all six Rubak members is now shown next> I'll read the votes. <Jeff can then be seen removing the lid from the urn and setting it down in front of him>
Jeff Probst: <Jeff can be seen reaching into the urn, as he pulls out the first vote, and turns it over> First vote: <Jeff reveals the vote to the castaways> Kathy. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Mikey making a confused and frustrated face, and then scrolls over to an expressionless Mary>
Jeff
Probst: <A quick view of Kathy is shown, before Jeff
reveals the second vote to the castaways> Alexis
Jeff Probst: <Jeff quickly reveals the next vote to the castaways> Alexis. <The camera shows a surprised Alexis tensing her expression> Two votes Alexis; <The camera then cuts back to Aras, as he looks around confusedly> one vote Kathy. <The camera shows a burning torch, and then scrolls forward to show a view of Kathy, before returning to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: <Jeff is now shown pulling the fourth vote out of the urn. He unfolds it, and then reveals it to the castaways> KB. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as Kathy can be seen raising her eyebrows, and the camera zooms in on her> We're tied: <short pause> two votes Kathy; <The camera switches angles to show Mikey staring ahead> two votes Alexis. <Quick views of the six Rubak members are shown, before the camera goes back to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: <Jeff reaches back into the urn and pulls out the fifth vote. He unfolds it, and then quickly reveals it to the castaways> Alexis. <Another close-up view of a confused and frustrated Alexis is shown, as she turns her head> Three votes Alexis; <The camera then scrolls over to an uncomfortable Aras> two votes Kathy; <A rapid view of Ian is shown, before the camera switches angles to show Kathy again. The camera then cuts back to Jeff again>
Jeff Probst: <The music softens, as the camera shows Jeff pulling out the sixth vote. He turns it over and stares down at it, before revealing it to the castaways> Kathy "K.B." <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows Kathy with a surprised look on her face, and she turns towards Tracy. An uneasy Mikey is then shown shaking his head dramatically, before the camera turns to show an expressionless Alexis staring into the distance. A rapid clip of both Aras and Mary is shown, before the camera switches angles to show Jeff>
Jeff Probst: For the first time this season, we have a tie: <Alexis now lets out a relieved sigh, before the camera cuts back to Jeff again> three votes Alexis; <short pause> three votes Kathy. <The camera shows rapid clips of Tracy and a Mary> Jeff Probst: Here's how a tie-breaker works. <A view of the entire Rubak tribe is then shown next> We're gonna have a re-vote. <The camera focuses back in on Jeff> Alexis, you will not vote again. <The camera then zooms in on Alexis and Mary> Kathy, you will not vote again… Kathy: Understood… <Kathy nods her head, before the camera shows Jeff again> Jeff Probst: The other four will vote, <A conflicted Mikey is now shown with an uneasy look on his face> and you're voting for either Kathy or Alexis. <A spooky shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows Alexis widening her eyes and then cuts back to Jeff> Same rules apply as with any vote. <Another wide view of all six Rubak members is shown> If, after the re-vote, we're still tied, we will be deadlocked, and we'll move on to drawing rocks. <Prominent drumbeats are heard, as the camera once again shows close-up views of both Tracy and Mikey> This is your last chance to change your vote. <The music speeds up and becomes more dramatic again, as the camera shows Mikey putting his head down. Jeff is shown again> Jeff Probst: Aras, you're up, <The camera now zooms back in on Aras> and if you wouldn't mind taking this back… <Aras can be seen standing up again, as Jeff hands him the empty voting urn and says "Thanks">
<Another wide view of the main Tribal Council area is shown, before the camera fades out to show Aras arriving at the voting confessional and picking up the pen to cast his vote. A close-up view of a worried Alexis is shown, before the camera cuts ahead to show a clip of Tracy placing her folded vote into the urn. Ian is then shown staring ahead, as Mary can be seen walking past him. The camera then shows her uncapping the pen and staring down at her blank piece of parchment. A close-up view of Kathy is shown, before the camera shows a close-up view of a flickering flame and then switches angles to show Mikey walking up to the voting confessional. The camera shows Aras with an uneasy expression on his face, and then abruptly cuts ahead to show Mikey holding his vote up to the camera: Kathy> Mikey: I obviously didn't expect to be writing Kathy's name down, but <long pause> it kinda works out. You know, just evening the score with Tracy; <short pause> you got me; now I got you. <A close-up view of an unsuspecting Tracy is shown> Yeah, I told you I'm not going home because of a rock. <Mikey now looks at the vote, and shakes his head> What a shame for you, Kath; <short pause> I really did like you… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows quick clips of both Tracy and Kathy, and then returns to Mikey, who places his folded vote into the urn. The camera then goes back to the other Rubak members, and zooms out to show Mikey sitting back down. Jeff is now shown, as he gives a subtle head nod>
Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the re-votes. <There is a haunting tribal chant, as Jeff can be seen walking out of sight. A wide view of Tracy, Alexis, and Mary is shown, before the camera scrolls over to a burning torch and then zooms in on it. The camera then fades out to show an expressionless Mikey staring ahead. Jeff then returns onto the screen with the voting urn> Jeff Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. <A close-up view of Mary is shown, as she listens intently> Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. <The camera now switches angles to show an expressionless Kathy gazing into the distance> I'll read the votes. <A quick clip of an anxious Ian is shown, before the camera cuts back to Jeff, who uncaps the voting urn> Jeff Probst: <The camera now shows Jeff pulling the first vote out of the urn, and turning it over> First vote: <He stares down at it for a few seconds, and then reveals it to the castaways> Kathy "K.B." <Kathy is now shown nodding her head knowingly, as the camera focuses on her for a few seconds, and then scrolls over to Tracy, who subtly shakes her head. Jeff is then shown with the next vote already in his hands>
Jeff Probst: <Jeff quickly reveals the second vote> Alexis. <A prominent sound is heard, as Alexis tenses her expression, and the camera cuts back to an unconcerned Mikey, who displays a confident grin> One vote Alexis; <short pause> one vote Kathy. <The camera fades out to show Kathy again, and then zooms out to show all six Rubak members. Another view of Jeff is then shown next>
Jeff Probst: <Jeff can now be seen revealing the next vote to the castaways> Kathy. <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera shows an uneasy Kathy raising her eyebrows> Two votes Kathy; <The camera shows Aras staring ahead> one votes Alexis. <A quick view of an uneasy Alexis is then shown, before the camera focuses back in on Jeff> One vote left. <The camera now shows another view of the entire Rubak tribe, as Kathy can be seen holding her hands in a praying position in front of her face. The camera then cuts back to Jeff>
Jeff Probst: <The music softens, as Jeff pulls the last piece of parchment out of the urn, unfolds it, and then stares at it with a slight smirk> Eleventh person voted out of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites, <Tracy can be seen widening her eyes, before the camera shows a confused Alexis turning her head> and the second member of our jury: <Another rapid view of Kathy is shown, as she says "Uh oh," and Jeff reveals the vote> Kathy. <Tracy is now shown with a surprised look on her face, before the camera turns to show Kathy, who mouths the words "No way!" Alexis and Mary are then shown looking confused, before Kathy reaches down to pick up her bag and then stands up> Kathy: <jokingly> Rat bastards… <laughs> <A wide view of the entire Rubak tribe is shown, as a sad-looking Kathy can be seen hugging Tracy> Tracy: <to Kathy> Love you too… <Mikey is then shown looking up, as Kathy jokingly holds out her hand as if she is about to slap him, and the camera switches angles to show Jeff>
Jeff Probst: <to Kathy> You need to bring me your torch. <A close-up view of a contemplative Tracy is shown, before the camera scrolls over to a relieved Aras, and then switches angles to show Kathy placing her torch into the slot in front of Jeff> Jeff Probst: Kathy, <pause> the tribe has spoken. <Jeff is now shown snuffing out Kathy's torch, as a prominent sound is heard and the camera shows a close-up view of Kathy, who excitedly pumps out both fists into the air> Kathy: <jokingly> Yay, me! <laughs> <The camera now shows another view of Jeff> Jeff Probst: <to Kathy> It's time for you to go. <A wide view of the main Tribal Council area is shown, as Kathy begins to walk out of the Micronesian village. A sad-looking Alexis is then shown next, as the camera zooms in on her> Alexis: <to Kathy> 27 days, mama; <short pause> hat's off… <Kathy now looks back at her former tribemates, as Mary and Tracy can both be seen waving to her. A mysterious sound is heard, as the camera shows a clip of a satisfied Mikey smirking, and then cuts back to Kathy, as she fades into the engulfing darkness. Jeff is now shown again>
Jeff Probst: Well, <long pause> tonight's Tribal Council was certainly unpredictable, to say the least, <Mikey can now be seen shifting his expression> but you have lasted 27 days; <Tracy is then shown looking up> got 12 days left and a one-in-eight shot at winning a million bucks. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera turns to Mary, and then shows Jeff again> Jeff Probst: You guys can head back to camp. <A close-up view of a contemplative Tracy is shown next> The rest of your tribe will re-join you at the next Reward Challenge. <Jeff is then shown again> Good night. <'Ancient Voices of Micronesia' begins to play, as the camera shows Aras and Tracy standing up, and then switches angles to show an amused Ian. Alexis is then shown grabbing her torch, before the camera cuts ahead to show a side view of the five Rubak members walking out of the Tribal Council village. An aerial view of the castaways making their way across the wooden dock is then shown, as the screen fades to black>

EPISODE 10 NOTES:
Here are a few important notes about Episode 10 and the rest of this story. Please be sure to read them so that you have a better understanding of what is going on.
1) So there is Episode 10. We're finally into double digits, and there are only 4 more episodes to go. This is an episode that I have some mixed feelings about. I really like all the thought and strategy that had to go into both groups trying to avoid the tie vote, but I think that some of it might have been confusing, which isn't good. Also, I admit that the episode was pretty slow until the challenge, and then when it really picked up a lot. Unlike most episodes, this is one that I really can't predict how it will be ranked. I could see some of you liking it a lot and some of you not liking it. Hopefully the majority are in the "like" camp though.
2) My apologies for forgetting to post the Tribal Council scene at Sucks. Sorry about that confusion, and for ruining the surprise if anyone got it spoiled for them…
3) I guess I do want to say something about Kathy's edit though. I think it's possibly the closest I've ever had to Cristina's in Cook Islands, where she was hardly shown in her boot episode at all. I didn't want Kathy to be UTR1 though because I think that would not really do her justice, so I gave her the little fishing scene just so she could be featured a little bit. It's been interesting for me that some of you called Kathy an OTT distraction for Tracy - I definitely agree with Kathy being OTT, but I always pictured her as being the background character to Tracy, who was always in the forefront. So it's interesting that her edit might not have come across that way. Anyway, I'll touched more on Kathy's edit later in the notes…
4) The rest of the notes will go through the whole episode in order, like usual, and I'll also answer a few questions that I think you might have about what is going on right now:
5) The Episode starts with the aftermath of the last Tribal Council, and Brooke talks about how she was blindsided by the fact that Ian was on the jury when she tried to make sure he wouldn't be. Then Mary and Aras got some confessionals about Ian going and not feeling comfortable in the tribe, and Mary confronted Brooke/Sherea about Tribal Council. Recall that Aras/Mary/Alexis went to the Airai people about voting off Sherea, so she would have obviously be upset with them as well, but the fact that I only showed her yelling at Brooke/Sherea (and really, only Brooke) could possibly be telling. I kept this short because I didn't want a long, drawn-out fight, but it might be somewhat important - it also was partly to explain why Mary was sent to Exile Island.
6) The next scene is, admittedly, nothing special and I know that the episode is pretty slow until the challenge. But this does introduce Mikey saying they he's going to be in the game for the "long haul," (which leads up to him switching his vote to prevent going home). Eliza's confessional about Mary was also supposed to give a reason why they picked her to go to Exile, since she was annoying the Favorites' girls. Then the conversation between Mary and Alexis about Aras was for two reasons: 1) to show that Alexis is going to start being more prominent and not just following behind Aras; 2) to make you think that Alexis might actually vote for Aras. If there was a regular Tribal Council though and Aras didn't have Immunity, Mary and Alexis would have most likely voted for him if they thought it was a lost cause.
The next part of the scene is about the tribe waiting around for their Reward Challenge. In the schedule, there's been a RC the day after Tribal Council every time, and now there wasn't, so that was meant to cause some paranoia. The confessionals from Tracy and Aras are just kindof narrative and meant to keep the story moving along. They're not particularly significant.
7) Then we get a scene on Day 27 of Kathy and Aras fishing, which was included so that Kathy would have a bit of a better boot episode than just an UTR1. I thought it was a fitting scene for her character, although it was meaningless in the bigger picture. That's all I really have to say about it…
8) The next scene is a challenge that turns out to be for Reward and Immunity. At first, I thought the twist of dividing them into three groups and then having one group miss Tribal Council to go on an overnight Reward was an original idea, but then I realized that it was basically what happened at the merge in Fiji except with 3 teams instead of 2. I guess there was an added element to it though with Exile Island, which got Mary out of the loop for the afternoon. I thought that added an interesting dynamic before Tribal Council…
The challenge itself was the one that was used in Episode 6 of real Micronesia, because I knew that it had to be something that Alexis and Tracy (and others) could sortof "sabotage" or help another team win without being incredibly obvious about it. I did think it was more fair to pick the teams this way than having them randomly determined like in Fiji. Aras picking Mary first would be an obvious choice since he'd want them both to be immune if they won. Sherea picked Brooke first (before Eliza), which is going to be more important soon than it appears right now. Alexis picked Mikey because she thought he would be stronger, although strength really didn't matter that much in this challenge. I think all of the other picks made sense too.
9) Why did Brooke, Sherea, and Eliza send Mary to Exile Island?
Mary was picked by the Favorites to go to Exile Island partly because they were all annoyed with her, partly because they thought she had the lowest chance of finding the hidden Immunity Idol and partly because Brooke/Sherea/Eliza wanted to give Kathy/Tracy/Mikey an advantage by sending away one of Aras' votes. The hope was that Mary might vote separately from Aras/Alexis, which would give the three Fans a majority.
10) So now that the challenge is over, we move on to the more interesting part of the episode beginning with the Reward scene, which I didn't find boring (unlike some other Rewards I've written before). The Reward was a trip to a Micronesian village, which tends to be pretty common in the show nowadays. The real show had the winners go to Yap, but I didn't want to have mine be that specific. I did research Micronesian villages and traditions to incorporate into my scene, but the one thing that was influenced by the show was Sherea's confessional about the women being topless. That didn't come up in any of my research, but I thought that the confessional that I wrote fit well with Sherea's personality. The "green plant" that the chief gave to the women is a true thing as well, although I don't know what type of plant it is. They had to carry that into the village as a sign of respect, although I'm not sure why this tradition exists. Finally, I liked Eliza's confessional about the dancing and Sherea's confessional about the young Micronesian guy being attracted to Eliza (like Erik). I hope that part was fun to read about, and I actually thought that Sherea came across fairly positively in this episode. Hopefully she gets her first positive episode ever in one of my stories because I think it might be deserved.
11) After this, we go back to the Rubak tribe where Alexis talks about the twist at the challenge with three people missing Tribal Council. She was probably the smartest person of everyone because she realized that Brooke/Sherea/Eliza needed to win the challenge so that all three of her alliance members would attend Tribal Council and only three of the other alliance would go. This set the stage for the inevitable tie vote and all the strategizing that went on. Tracy had a similar confessional, but she said that everyone in her alliance was focused on not letting anyone from Aras' alliance win, which is why nobody blockaded B/E/S's tunnel, and it was a mistake for them to not look at the numbers. Mikey was upset because he knew that his team had to win to give his alliance the majority. I know all of that sounds confusing… Next, Alexis has a confessional about Mary going to Exile Island interfering with their strategy because they have to come up with some kind of signal to let her know how they're voting. That leads to: the most important thing in this scene is that Aras and Alexis decide they are going to vote for Kathy for strategic reasons.
12) What are the tie-breaker rules?
The rules of a tie-breaker are that the two tied contestants will not vote in a re-vote, but everyone else will re-vote. If the vote is still tied, it is ruled a deadlock, and the two tied contestants are given Immunity along with the person who actually has individual Immunity from winning the Immunity Challenge (which was no one in this episode). The other untied contestants will reach into a bag and the person who picks the purple rock gets voted out.
Before the purple rock, the contestants are given 2 minutes to unanimously decide who should be voted out, but I don't include this in my episodes because I don't think it would really work in most cases and I don't want it to just take up room.
In this episode, Aras and Alexis chose to vote for Kathy because they felt that the vote would be deadlocked. Therefore, Kathy would be given Immunity while Mikey and Tracy (two more threatening players) would have to pull rocks. Obviously, this backfired when Mikey switched his vote, but that was the logic involved.
13) Now we go to Exile Island. I really don't have much to say about this scene, but there's a few things I'll point out: 1) I'm once again leaving it open as to whether or not Mary found the idol, just because that will be more suspenseful instead of just revealing it now. 2) Mary was going to vote for Tracy at this point, but she does say that she'll be looking for a signal from her alliance. I put this in there because I wanted you to think that Mary might have voted separately from them.
14) The next Reward scene is more strategy-oriented and has the three Favorites girls talking about what is going on back at camp. Eliza recaps the 3-3 voting situation and says that things are up in the air. Sherea suggests the idea of trying to get Alexis to vote for Aras (which comes up in the next scene), and then Brooke proposes that Brooke/Sherea/Eliza go to the Final Three together. She also says that if one of the Fans happens to go due to the purple rock it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Let me explain the logic here: if everything went as planned and the Final Six was B/S/E/T/K/M, there would most likely be a tie between Brooke/Sherea/Eliza and Mikey/Tracy/Kathy at that point. Mikey MAY have voted with the Favorites, but there'd probably be a tie with the Fans and Favorites both trying to come out on top. So Brooke was saying that if one of the Fans leaves now from a purple rock, that gives the Favorites a 3-2 advantage over the remaining Fans in their alliance. This is what happened with Kathy leaving, so in theory, if Aras' alliance was out of the picture, Brooke/Sherea/Eliza would have a majority over Tracy/Mikey. You might be able to see a problem with this though, which I won't blatantly give away…
15) Back to camp for the rest of the strategy scene. This is where things get really complicated, I think, because there's a lot of "if, then" scenarios being thrown out. Mikey starts off right away by telling Tracy and Kathy that he's not going to go home from picking a rock. He then comes up with the same plan that Alexis came up with: to vote for the person that they want to stay the most. His alliance decides to vote for Alexis, because if the vote is deadlocked, Alexis would be immune and Aras/Mary would have to pick the rock. This is the same reasoning Alexis used before. But since Mikey fears the purple rock, he comes up with another idea: to try to get Alexis to vote for Aras so that the vote will go 3-(2)-1. The reason they don't vote for Aras is because he's be immune from the purple rock if it was deadlocked and the wanted to get rid of him the most. The reason they don't vote for Mary is because if she played the idol, then Aras' alliance would automatically win out. So Alexis was the only choice:
At this point, the votes are going to go like this:
VOTING FOR ALEXIS: Tracy, Kathy, Mikey
VOTING FOR KATHY: Aras, Alexis, Mary???
16) There's a few things that you didn't see that happened. 1) Mikey tried to convince Aras/Alexis to vote for HIMSELF prior to wanting Alexis to vote for Aras. This way, MIKEY would be the one that was immune from the purple rock. This was the only way that he would let the vote be a deadlock, and he stated this openly. Once he saw the first vote for Kathy, he knew he was going to change it. 2) Knowing that Mikey might potentially switch, Tracy and Kathy talked about potentially voting Mikey off. The reason they didn't was the same reason that Alexis didn't vote for Aras. No one could trust each other. Aras/Alexis could have just agreed to vote out Mikey and then not done it because that would have split T/K/M's votes with 2 for Mikey, 1 for Alexis, and then 3 for Kathy. That's why they decided to stay unified at first and vote for Alexis as a group of 3. I can't even say it enough: there was SO MUCH strategy going on.
Anyway, aside from that, Mikey did try to get Alexis to vote for Aras, and what she did was very smart: she was going to vote for Kathy at first to ensure that the vote was actually a tie, and IF T/K/M really did vote for Aras, then Alexis *would* have switched to Aras and he would have been voted out. Aras could have been gone, but those three voted for Alexis instead.
I kindof touched on Mikey not wanting to pick the rock already, but I think his last confessional before Tribal Council explained it well. In general, it's just a really crappy way to leave the game and that's why I had them bring up Denise in China getting screwed over by it (normally, I wouldn't reference events from a past season, but this season is okay since it's Fans vs. Favorites). Besides, if it wasn't now, Mikey was likely to betray Tracy/Kathy at some point in the game, possibly at Final Six as I mentioned in an earlier note.
The last thing I want to say is that I liked Alexis' confessional before the challenge - it was very smart, I think, and that even though it's really an obvious thing, I liked the idea that she was going to cough at Tribal Council whenever Jeff said Kathy's name. I think the fact that Aras/Alexis had to try to signal Mary about the vote would be fun to watch because they'd definitely be very frantic about it. So hopefully there was some suspense going into Tribal Council and you didn't know exactly what was going to happen…
17) Tribal Council: it starts with a little funny moment of Alexis and Aras trying to point to Kathy and write a "K" in the air, which is something that's never happened before, and then Ian walks in and says "Where'd half the tribe go?" I thought that was a good way to start off, and I also thought there would some good answers at Tribal Council. Alexis actually talked quite a bit, which is a big change. I liked Mary not really commenting on how much she looked for the idol or whether or not she found it. I also liked her answer saying that the tribe is always going to be divided within every group, especially on Day 27. I thought that was an honest answer compared to some people who might have just said the tribe was unified. Tracy also gave an insightful comment about the jury, I think, and Mikey's short but sweet answer emphasized again that he was voting strategically and for self-preservation, as did Alexis'.
18) Now we get to the voting, and we see one for Kathy and one for Alexis, which should have been expected. Mary also was heard saying that she hopes she made the right vote (I did show her looking over at Alexis when Alexis did the second cough). Basically, what you saw happening was a completely new strategy where everyone voted for the person who they wanted to stay the most. This did result in a tie, but because Aras' group didn't vote for Mikey like he wanted them to, he would have been vulnerable to the purple rock after the deadlocked tie. Therefore, Mikey ended up switching his vote to Kathy and said that he was "evening the score" between him and Tracy. As you know, they always did have almost a rivalry even since Episode 1, so I don't think this is that unexpected from him. Hopefully there was enough provided in the episode to justify why he switched his vote. When he said "You got me, now I got you," he was referring to the blindside in Episode 8 where he used the hidden Immunity Idol.
So Kathy ends up going and Aras survived the vote WITHOUT having the Immunity necklace. Remember he said he didn't want to have to rely on it to stay in the game, so the fact that this happened, could ultimately be good for his chances.
19) A LOOK AHEAD AT EPISODE 11
Well, after Episode 9 being very predictable and Episode 10 being probably very Unpredictable, Episode 11 should fall somewhere in the middle between the two. I've only written a little bit of it so far, but I think it's going to be a more middle-of-the-road kind of episode. I'll say that the Reward itself (not the challenge) will be interesting because it's designed to cause some dissent in the tribe, and it's something that has never really been done of the show before. Bonus points if you can guess what that is. Other than that, I can't really reveal much about the episode. You might be surprised by the reactions from Tracy/Mikey though. That will be interesting to see…
20) So that's it for Episode 10. I hope these notes served to clear up some things. I know some of the strategy was complicated and confusing, and I definitely want you to understand what's going on. Please feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks to all of you for being loyal readers and continuing to read no matter what! It's been a fun season so far! :)
My sincere thanks to you for reading this episode. I'm amazed to still have so many people reading and commenting into the seventh season. Definitely good to see the fans actually use knowledge of the show as well, especially Mikey B. And then Alexis wanted to throw the challenge to make it 3-3... good thinking. Surprised Brooke and Eliza didn't realize that. Great suspense etc. I actually thought Kathy got the edit to go home again (her nature scene), but I thought "no way!". It wasn't until right before TC where I realized it was obviously her going home. I'm also surprised Mary had the audacity to be such a rotten bitch. COMMENTS & QUESTIONS
(A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I liked this one probably most of your recent ones. The Kathy edit went totally over my head, so I thought it would be Alexis. I was surprised that Mikey broke the tie, yet I suppose it's understandable. I was disapointed to see Kathy go, yet that does still leave some of my favorites in power. I'm interested in what Mikey/Tracy will do next episode. Both sides have three people, so they're in the minority either way. Yet still, I'd be surprised if they teamed up with Aras. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Loved the Brooke-Mary fight (Mary = hypocritical bitch) and Kathy and Aras fishing. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) 9.5 1. SOLE SURVIVOR POLL (A) Which castaway will be the Sole Survivor? Brooke 2. WHAT'S NEXT POLL (A) Which castaway will be voted off in Episode 11? I think I've guessed Aras 3 episodes straight and been wrong, so I'll say Mary (B) Do you have any other predictions for Episode 11? Aras wins immunity 3. POPULARITY POLL (A) Please rate each castaway's popularity from 1-10. 1 is the lowest score, while 10 is the highest. COMMENTS & QUESTIONS
(A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. I really liked it. The TC was pretty exciting trying to underdtand if Mary could understand to vote for Kathy. I knew Mikey would have changed hid vote, and I actually agree with him. I'm starting to really like Alexis, she's playing smart and if it wasn't for her terrible edgic she would definitely be a contender. Great episode as always =) (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Alexis understanding to lose the challenge on purpose (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10?
