I actually like every song on CR with the exception of Wheel of the World...that song just bugs the shit out of me for some reason. After JAD I think they should release Flat on the Floor and then close the era with IKYW. I don't think two back to back ballads would work so she needs something in between to pep it up a bit. I also think Crazy Dreams, as cliche as the theme is, could work as a good single, it's much more uplifting and inspiring than FOTF but not as kick ass. I'm not sure what will happen with JAD. It's a week away from official adds and it's #3 on the taking off chart with 35 new spins and 3 new stations playing it for a total of 57 stations and a +282 spin increase in the last 7 days. The interesting trend I noticed is that the majority of play is coming in the overnight or evening hours, which listener numbers might be smaller. I wish the regular mediabase charts were working so I could see the audience impressions. you can still access mediabase through allaccess but you have to be a member to see the charts http://www.allaccess.com/ Last Name on Hot AC and Pop isn't having the movement I would've expected for the type of song that it is but it is much more country sounding that BHC was so that might be why. |

If I listen to the lyrics of FOTF I hate it.. but if I just listen to the melody and how Carrie sings it I really like it.
GOOTT is a good song too but I don't see them releasing that as a single. Does she perform that in concert? |

So does it for GOOTT and she plays an acoustic for DFTRM! I would love for GOOTT to be released as a single although I wish it was released in the summer.

I really like FOTF. To be honest, I especially liked it after she did it on SNL. It's so weird to think that All American Girl is currently the most
popular single from this era (in terms of sales). I would never have guessed it, even though I do enjoy that song.

If you compare any of them to another contestant, the tards will bad mouth the comparee up one side and down the other. It isn't something exclusive to Carrietards. Carrie <3, Yelly - meh. Both have great voices but are not necessarily for everyone. |

I guess it should be noted that at least one Carrie fan is STILL acting like a jackass.... going into Kelly's threads being rude and such
we won't let one person derail our efforts at peace though so whatever. on allaccess JAD reached the top 50 mediabase chart with a +156 bullet and 1.6 million audience impressions. I don't remember how her other singles tracked before their official add date...how does this song seem to be doing in comparison? |
