(Casting 18 Year Olds) *For Family Edition?* |

l was just wodering why teens would be allowed in casting so late in the seasons of this show. I don't think 18 or19ners would fair well against older
players. But maybe if their casting teens and a parent to compete together, that makes more since. Like16 teams of 2, familys break up into tribes of 8 teams
of 2. Until the merge *16 familys* *One Teen* *One Parent* One Family survives. If The Amazeing Race can do it survivor can. Cause18ners cant drink beer on a
reward, like players age 2l and over.S18

people always talk about survivor's "low ratings". however, it's constantly in the top 20--usually around the 10 or 12 slot. in my mind
that's not terrible. it's still one of the highest rated shows on TV. it just depends what else is on.

It's still always winning its time slot. Not bad, I'd say.

and also--i doubt survivor would do a family edition. not only do i think it could be the straw that broke the camel's back for the show--but i also think
there would be too big of a chance of a family member saying "i can't take it anymore" and having the entire family being evacuated.

There's no way in hell Survivor will do a family edition. It needs to be total strangers competiting against each other for the $1,000,000, not nieces and
first cousins twice removed competiting with each other.

Doing a family edition wud cause way to much controversy. Imagine dealing with stabbing your mother in the back. O.O

LOL-A family edition wouldn't be about family members against family members. It would be about families competing together against other families.

There was a 'family' type of Survivor on another network. I don't think it even lasted the season. They lived in cabins though.

That's an understatement.
TAR: Family Edition nearly killed the franchise. The only way they would do this is if it's the final season, and they don't give a fuck about the ratings. |

I agree with Twizzler11, to do a family edition would not only be a step backwards, but that would only happen if MB was intentionally trying to kill the show
off.
