Kazakhstan is real, fyi.
Yes it is. I didn't really know that until about a month after the movie came out. Is that bad?

They are all newly founded nations after the fall of Soviet Union.

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore fetches Harry from Privet Drive and takes him to persuade Horace Slughorn to join the Hogwarts staff - his right hand, Harry notices, is shrivelled and black. During the school year, Dumbledore meets with Harry in his office to teach him of Voldemort's past because he tells Harry that it is of immense importance. Through their lessons, they visit the thoughts of others, which contained important information about the life of Voldemort, leading to his genocidal rise to power. It is learned that Voldemort created six Horcruxes to gain immortality and that they must all be destroyed before Harry goes after the final piece of Voldemort's soul that resides in the Dark Lord's body. Harry also repeatedly warns Dumbledore in most of their lessons that another student, Draco Malfoy, is working for Voldemort. Dumbledore refuses to take any action against Draco, and instead tells Harry that he already knows more about what is happening than Harry does." Sigh, American book cover made a grievous mistake by not showing Dumberdore's hand being black.

I'm shocked Chamber of Secrets was so low! I LOVED it -- it was by far my favorite of the series. Gilderoy Lockhart is my favorite HP character ever.

Chamber of Secret is good, but other series are just much better.

I think CoS was the best movie, but probably not the best book, although I think it's under appreciated.

I wish I read as much as you guys! Harry Potter may be a good book to start reading, but I always find myself too lazy to.

She looks like a very smart llama. I am anxiously waiting to see which book places second on this list.

Pino is back YAY!
#2 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows The intensity and drama were superb, as well as the epic search of Harry and the gang for the other horcruxes. I love how the "Deathly Hallows" were introduced and the fact that it came from a children book. <3 The number of people killed were saddening </3
#1 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix The longest book is the most outstanding among the other books. I love how the dementors attacked Harry, resulting in a court trial. I love the drastic changes that happened in the life of every character and of course, the MOST EPIC SCENE- the battle at the department of mysteries. <3 k, done. =) characters next. |

Good choice, that is my favorite too. I like that DH cover from some country that I don't know with Harry at the grave. The British cover is just so bad,
why choose that scene? It is not important at all. They seem to like the small, unimportant scenes the best.

Bob, I think it was them still trying to appeal to little kids, I guess.
And I liked that scene. It was so odd and awkward with the magical gold. XD Good choice, Pino. It's my favo too. :D |
