I don't get why you're so uncomfortable with this, and have to pretend to be some kind of asexual, Ghandiesque being who always looks past the superficial when judging people. Is this some kind of religious hang up, where you've been conditioned to feel so ashamed of your sexuality you're terrified to admit you like watching sexy women on TV? It's perfectly normal. Tard. You get defensive and protest that you don't root for every young hottie, but it just shows you prefer young hotties that don't intimidate you. You like the quiet, submissive type because it's easier to fantasize about controlling and dominating them. You mentioned the contrast between your tastes and the masochists with bondage fetishes who like Kelly Goldsmith and Courtney Yates because it's a turn on for them to root for someone who seems like they would treat them like shit and humiliate them. Your criteria may be different, but your motives are the same. You're all drawn to the people who turn you on sexually.

Yeah, she was good looking, but c'mon, she's little more than a very slightly more visible version of the Brianna/Brooke/Morgan trio from Guatemala! In game terms she was a complete nobody who had little to no effect on the game.

She's one of the most memorable, well-developed early boots ever. She was the first person officially sent to Exile Island, and she had a great attitude about it. She was a great physical player and good at the social game too, which is why Terry targeted her (because she was a threat), and she was also really smart. If anyone is a perfect candidate to win Survivor, it's someone like Misty. She just got screwed over but she was great for when she was there. And we all have biases towards certain "types" of players, as mentioned, like beatles & CR do, like Kitty does with strong older women, and I do with more misunderstood, memorable early boots (Kim, Jeff, Tracy, etc.) Most of us do this without even realizing it.

I have to disagree with what you said here. In Exile Island I find Misty hardly memorable. Exile Island has some of the best characters in that season (Cirie, Shane, Courtney, Bruce, Terry), and most of the time I felt that Misty was too under the radar. Physical game, I don't know if she was the strongest female, socially... I think her strategy sucked (She used the flirting strategy and we all know it's not that great of a strategy and often backfires). I don't think Misty got screwed over at all, she just didn't have the numbers which is often the case for most people being booted. I agree with your second part though but I just don't think Misty was THAT spectacular in Exile Island with all the great characters we got, she was kind of forgettable in my opinion.

I would have loved to see her make it further and for Terry's boy club to have blown up, but to call her one of the most memorable, well developed early boots ever?

Misty getting air time had nothing to do with the decrease in the size of the cast from 20/18 down to 16. Since she was the first contestant sent to Exile Island (aside from Janu), the editors had to show her. If Danielle had gone to Exile instead, we would have seen little of Misty till her boot episode and she could have been that season's Lilliana. Other than going to Exile, she contributed little unlike Tina S. who was a big character.

Yau-Man Chan (Survivor Fiji) Probably a shocker to not have him higher, but 16 is great, and he's lower because I really didn't like Fiji at all and even though Yau Man was one of the only redeeming factors, he's still not enough to try and make me forget it. Anyway, Yau started off the season really well. He was really the most out of place castaway on paper, but the best moment of episode 1... the buff guys can't crack open the crate, yet Yau uses physics to do it. How awesome. After that, he knew he had to work, work, work to win over the young people in his tribe, and he did just that. He stayed behind at camp to do water duties, which was appreciated, and it came in handy when he needed to look for the idol. His alliance with Earl was nice, it showed Yau was in the mix of things. Once he got switched over to Moto, he had a big episode when he found the idol. The whole scene was tense and I was on the edge of my seat hoping he could find it discreetly. And then he did <3 His reaction to finding it was hilarious as well, he was really funny. After that, he buried a fake idol which was genius (though considering what happened to Ozzy, maybe not so much), but unfortunately no one found it. After the merge, his game picked up. When Alex and Mookie threatened to expose his idol, he had no choice but to do it first. And I loved how most of his alliance didn't care. In fact, Stacy was sooo upset that they looked through his bag and threatened him, proclaiming her heart was hurt. Though those idiots did screw over Yau because it got Dreamz paranoid and the rest is history. He made a deal to give the car to Dreamz, which could have worked out. He also smartly sent himself to exile. He recognized the problem with his alliance with Earl/Cassie/Dreamz, and tried to fix it, but unfortunately, Dreamz stabbed him in the back. He really had no options in the end game but to win immunity, but that wasn't his fault really. He played such a good game, came so close. He was also a very gracious loser, and even told Dreamz to enjoy the car etc. <3 Wow-Man. 15. Yul Kwon (Survivor Cook Islands) I really liked Yul from the start of CI, even though he seemed very PC and contrived. But he grew on me as the weeks passed. In episode 2, I was actually thrilled he found the HII. He deserved it and I was rooting for him. If Aitu was stupid enough to send an alpha male, glad he was able to find it. After he went to New Aitu, I really liked the loyalty he showed to Becky. I was rooting for his Asian/White alliance (minus Flica), but soon CB became a problem, and had to be dealt with. So they pulled in boring Sundra instead. But Yul was always trying to make everyone feel welcome, and he was always very fair. Which I liked. He made a mistake trusting Jonathan and Candice (really Candice), but since she had been such a fan of the show, it's understandable since she'd know how to lie etc. After the Aitu 4 got to the merge, Yul may have had a lot of luck with getting to the merge in tact and having the HII, but as evidenced by Terry, just because you have the idol, doesn't mean you'll be successful with it. Yul played it perfectly. He knew exactly who to talk to, how to talk to them, and what bargain to make to maximize his success. And it worked, he got Jonathan to flip even though there was little to benefit him with. Yul turned Jonathan against Raro partly by setting them up and showing Jonathan what they were saying about his wife etc. He had a lot of sense in the game, and even had Becky played FOR him. Sundra to. He managed to kick a lot of ass and win 5-4. After the show, his interviews show his great understanding for the game which was awesome. He's also done a lot of charity work which is nice.
