And a reason for Sun to be badass. And a reason for her to go back. And we also needed some screaming because noone on Lost has ever screamed that damn loud before. I know this is Jack's thread, Felicia, but I lurved badass Sun. In terms of going back to the island, she will be almost as hard a sell as Kate, so I'm nearly certain that we will see Jin alive on the island, and later see Ben and/or Sayid dangling that carrot in order to get Sun back to the island. Still not sure what is going to work with Kate, unless they frame her with another murder or something (or perhaps a kidnapping charge?) I'm also digging the route they have been going with the off-island flash forwards. Each of our Losties is becoming their parent (Jack, Sun) or reverting to the thing that they hated about themselves, and were getting control of on the island (Hurley, Sayid). Since their demons are only resolved or resolvable on the island, they have to return. Kate is the mystery, though, she resolved her issues off the island, at least as far as being a fugitive. Oh well, at least Jack got to experience some of what Sawyer enjoyed when he was a polar bear. |

LOL!!! Ya know - even though I have always kinda sorta been a Jack/Kate fan, I was hoping they'd never end up getting "stuck in a net" together.
Why? Because my gut tells me she'll end up with Sawyer.
Jack got teased so much I'm surprised his nads didn't explode.. then Juliet came along and I thought "ahhh.. she loves him, she could "fix" him". Now she's stuck on the island. *sigh* In the end I don't know that his love life really matters. He'll either turn into the most wonderful man on the face of the earth, full of emotion, full of faith, help Locke become undead, save all the folks who wanna go or are allowed to go home and be THE HERO I always thought he was anyway. I started out believing he'd be the last man standing. Now I think he'll probably be redeemed and die in the series finale. Hold me. Sun is annoying me right now - Not because she's being a strong woman and standing up to her father or being all badass or anything. WidmoreOwnage is not something I would whine about. She's annoying me the same way Kate is. Both have changed too much and it was kinda thrown in our faces. Jack has always been such a jackass yet he was affected by Locke's death and Kate was not???? Weird. I assume Sun didn't really give a rat's ass either? Jack, Sun, Hurley and Sayid are all basically who they'd never want to be (or be again). Kate is the biggest mystery. I have a feeling it's gonna take a shitload of convincing to get her back to the island. Claire is pushing her away from the island. Who/what will change her mind? I can't wait to find out! |

I hate the idea of Jack dying... but what you wrote up there was kind of an awesome and beautiful ending, regardless of whether Jack lives or not. I'd rather that Jack end up happy and with Juliet at the end of season six. yes, I've come around to liking Juliet. lol |

I love how we disagree on characters and then you watch, observe, and in the end we usually end up on the same page. I would LOVE for Jack to end up with Juliet, but I have this feeling.. I don't like it.. I'm torn. This whole hero thing has me wondering if he does indeed become a real hero by sacrificing himself in the end. S3 finale makes me think he had already at that point realized he'd made a huge mistake and he couldn't fix anything, (couldn't even fix himself ) so *JUMP*. But the island wouldn't let him. This whole transition from being ok (or in denial), then happy with Kate, then not, then acknowledging he is seeing a dead man and Hurley's NOT crazy.. he tries to crash his ass back on the island because he knows he wasn't meant to go. Drunk, suicidal, whatever - at least he DID figure out he was wrong. Now knowing that Locke (of all people) dying sent him over the edge proves he had become a believer in something bigger than himself, fate, destiny.. He'll go back. I'm gonna need some of his drugs if he dies in the end. |

After the finale, I wouldn't be surprised if Sawyer and Juliet become an item, as unlikely as it seems. |

Yeah I've posted before that no matter what *I* think or would want, it's very possible Jack's part of the last season has nuttin' to do
with romance. Didn't think about Kate, but you could be right that neither of them end up with anyone.

When I said noone deserves to be alone, I was thinking alone as in no family, friends, pets. (yeah pets count, too)
The other posts - just talking about the romantic aspect of the show. I know a lot of people IRL who are single and prefer it that way. |

why Speed Racer seemed to fall on it's face. I liked it too...but did feel the computer generated race scenes stretched abit too long.

Just watched it. The down side of watching a certain character TOO closely is I figured him out TOO soon. LoL Soon as he said he was going off on his own, I
knew. I'm trying not to spoil anyone but I think it might be kinda obvious to everyone who watches. Pegs, did you know?
This was a GREAT movie!!! Kept me on the edge of my seat. Great cast. |

I won't say I had him figured from the word go...but I did begin to get a feeling of disbelief (lol) and realized the direction it was going. But after I
faced the fact, I actually enjoyed his performance even more. He did a super job I thought. Then in looking back after watching the entire movie...I really
liked how they'd played it all out. I had been actually worried for awhile he wasn't going to have a big enough part in the movie. The movie itself
was very interesting to watch....and interesting to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Very cleverly executed. It was great for him to be amongst
such a great ensemble of cast members. He fit in there perfectly.

Oh I totally agree with all you said. Loved how there were all these "vantage points" then it was tied together perfectly. I really did think he was
shady in one of the first segments though, when he was so eager to go after the shooter. And then when he was absent for so long, I knew beyond a shadow of a
doubt that he when he showed up again, I wasn't gonna like it. lol
Still absolutely loved the movie. More than I thought I would. Oh hell, I've already spoiled the character so I'll go ahead and post this. A friend of mine said "it had to be weird seeing Jack die like that" and I laughed and said "that wasn't Jack!!!". |
