This movie was kind of funny for about a half hour. I actually laughed out loud a few times when Hancock was talking shit to civilians.
After that it turns into doodoo pie. |

I saw it last night and liked it, but people that are going in thinking it's going to be hardcore superhero stuff from start to finish will be
disappointed.

From the trailers and commercials, I assume it is a comedy. No?

I need some more details before I can decide if I'm going to see this. It's at the drive-in with Incredible Hulk next week, which I want to see, but of course Hancock is first. |

I thought it was good Cindi. The first half of the movie has great comedy and action scenes but the second half of the movies goes into a bit more serious
tone. I can see how some people will be frustrated with it.
It does setup a good character(s) though for possible sequels. |

Hey now. Let's be careful here.
Did 'Hancock' have giant mechanical spiders? Did it?????? |

This movie started off fine, but got wack really quickly.
But it's Will Smith, summer and the ending is no less wack than any of the Spidermans or other vaunted action films. Should do well. |

I liked it more than I thought I would.
Jason Bateman is the shit. |

I'm going to see this again tonight with a group of people that haven't seen it yet.
I personally like the mythos that was created for the characaters, it has good setup for future sequel(s). ETA: I also found out that the film was originally 120 minutes long and kept getting denied by the MPAA because they kept giving it an NC-17 rating in it's original incarnation, which I find hard to believe. Hopefully they put the full version on the DVD release.

Yup, this is a first in cinematic history. We get to see the results of super-ejaculate.My autobiography won't come out until 2011. |

Here I am as a Patriotic American right before the 4th being misled to believe this was a Historical Epic about John Hancock and the Decleration Of
Independence and it ends up being a dopey summer action pic. Biggest waste of $7 in my life ever.

I'm not funding Scientology by paying Will Smith.

I was praying that after that monster's first appearance on the screen, Hancock was going to fly to it break it's neck and spine in 378.25 different
pieces. I guess this leaves room for it to be the number #1 villain in the sequel if there is one.
