No, not a bad thing at all. It was awesome to see her transition from "children's book" to "any age can read"
That's what I loved about the whole series |

Why did they change "Philosopher's" to "Sorcerer's" in America?

I have heard it is because the American publishers thought we wouldnt buy a book with the word "Philosopher" in it. They changed it to
"Sorcerer's" to sound more interesting.

I always liked Philosopher's more than Sorcerer's. But the UK gets fug covers so that's okay.

I thought so too! Even the giant spider stuff was sorta boring. But I did like the stuff with the centaurs and unicorn blood in the first book. So far the
first 2 are the same as my first 2. Let's see if it keeps up!

Harry Potter is Lurve. My rankings: 7. SS 6. PoA (SO OVERRATED) 5. CoS 4. HBP 3. GoF 2. DH 1. OotP I'm surprised there are so many other OotP fans here. Usually it's considered the worst. As much of a nerd as I'm about to sound, at the HP message board I posted at for a while, PoA was most people's favorite, and OotP was usually the least favorite. But reasons why OotP rocks: Umbridge Luna Battle in the Department of Mysteries Dumbledore vs. Voldemort Fred and George Many other reasons that I'm forgetting |

#5 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince This book is just a prologue for the finale. This is one of the most emotional books in the series because the ever awesome Dumbledore was killed by Snape. (I was hoping he would resurrect in book 7 >_>) We have discovered that Draco Malfoy has a big responsibility and Snape had an "unbreakable vow" to protect him. And of course, the "Horcruxes". SCRIMGEOUR </3 SLUGHORN <3333 How it affected the story: -Albus' Death -The mission of Draco Malfoy -Harry's private lessons with Dumbledore (defense against Voldemort.. i forgot the specific term) -Harry discovered the early life of Tom Riddle as well as the other horcruxes through the pensieve. -Harry was a Horcrux himself. |

How much all of your Harry Potter book collection cost, Pino? I saw all of 7 books in my brother's now vacant room.
Have you finished read all of them? Who is your favorite character on the book collection?

I must admit, HPB was not as good as I expected it to be (since I expected it to top OotP). Still though, I loved it (as I love all of them) and it was a great
set up for DH. And Pino, FYI Harry didn't discover he, himself, was a horcrux until the end of book 7.

HBP wasn't as good as I wanted either. I'd probs rank it above GoF though.

As far as I can rememberm I've only read HBP once. I think that speaks for itself.

HBP is just okay. It sets you up for DH, but that is about all its good for. I think the two kind of go together in a way. |

HBP was used, as most have said, to set up the grand finale.
And I saw the identity of the HBP twist coming from a mile away

I loved HBP, the ending had me so drawn in and I couldn't put it down once I got to that point. And the flashbacks of Voldemort's past were amazing
too. This makes me wanna start reading the seventh.

I was actually disappointed by the length of HBP. OotP was this huge ass 1000+ page thing, so I naturally expected HBP to be about 1200+ pages and be a really
nice and long read. Not so unfortunately.
