She has a ton of KT Tunstall covers on youtube. She should do one of those songs instead. Her song choices have been horrendous so far. That being said I
think she has a large enough fanbase to last another week.

<3 Roadblocker So I read at some point that Katelyn changed her name to become a performer. Being from Steinbach, she is obviously Mennonite, so she would have had a Menno last name (not Dawn). So then I was trying to guess what it was. And then, it dawned on me (no pun intended, lololol)...I bet her last name was Dyck. After all, if you wanted to become a star and your name was Katelyn Dyck, wouldn't you change it? It all makes so much sense. |

Katelyn was a Mennonite. Maybe. Everyone from Steinbach is essentially a Mennonite. But Greg Neufeld was Mennonite too. Sort of.

Damn this show has a lot of Mennonites. The Mennonite Church of Canada apparently has 35 000 members so I hope they'll all voting for Amberly after she
mentioned her family in Week 1, smart girl that one is. (Amberly said she grew up in a traditional Mennonite family)
I think people said Carly Rae was probably Mennonite last year too. I'm guessing Mennonites are more prominent in Manitoba, Alberta and BC than they are in the GTA. |
