I do agree that there are some slow points in a match where it's a serving battle. However, there were a lot of decent rallies. Earlier this year, there
was a Federer/Karlovic match on clay. Now that was boring. I don't mind the big servers so long as they have the rest of the game to back it up.
Nadal beats Murray 6-3 6-2 6-4, losing only 10 points on serve as well. |

OMG!! Lets go Dementieva. Ive waited four years to see this..
She had a good quarterfinal agaonst Petrova. She was up a set and 5/1 in the second..I guess that made it to easy for dementieva to close it out.  seing how Petrova came back to win the second set out of nowhere..But it was
all Dementieva on the third.<33

The women's semis somewhat remind me of the semis in 2004 US Open. They were Davenport vs. Kuznetsova and Capriati vs. Dementieva. I know I expected
Davenport and Capriati to roll into an all-American final. Both would lose in tight 3-setters. It would be awesome to see two surprises tomorrow.

Zheng will be a tough win, but hey - she beat Ana, Szavay, and Nicole... so you never know. Elena - it depends upon WHICH Elena plays tomorrow. 'Good' Elena can win it; 'Bad' Elena will implode. |

Schuettler - Clement looks like a great match - they've each taken one of the past two sets in a tiebreak. On to

Well, so much for enjoying my annual Saturday morning Wimbledon women's final. I won't be tuning in, but I'm sure NBC will cream themselves knowing it'll be those two in the finals. Yawn. eta: Rain delay on the Zheng-Serena match. Serena up 5-2 |
