It's an older couple Cracky, he's had 3 heart attacks and a quadruple bypass and his healthy, sweet wife just dropped dead yesterday. eta: Buggles, that is one klazzy funeral dessert.

Chicken divan is vile.
I've said this before here. When a family member dies, the cousins and aunts swarm on the house with not only food and fine desserts, but coffee, the big coffee pot (which one aunt owns), cups, plates, platicwear, napkins, booze and everything the mourning house needs. They cook. They clean, they stay up all night with you laughing and crying and telling stories. It's nice, but kinda weird. |
