And is PEI still part of Canada? All joking aside, if someone from PEI or Yukon/Nunavut/Northwest territories ever make it to the semis, expect MASSIVE voting. I mean, people there probably have nothing else to do. |

All this talk of Canadian provinces reminded me of the time when the Turks and Caicos were BEGGING the Canadian govt to join Canada and become a new province.
Had that happened, we would've tapped an interesting talent pool in the Carribean. |

See at least the Southern voting block in America helps all contestants from the South and the ones who sing Country music. The regional voters here are pretty
well province specific so it's an uphill battle on this show.
At least if you win though you can say you did it because the whole Country genuinely did love you and you won people over with your talent. You can't win on an original fanbase or regional votes alone with this show. That's why Melissa, Eva and Brian won, and Rex, Craig and Jaydee didn't. |

The thing I find hard to believe is that Mark must have been the best NL had to offer. Thats a scary thought.

There were only 6 people from Nfld this year and I'm willing to bet all the others were better than him. |

But you still may not win over the whole country...

I also <3 Lisa. I hope that she makes the Top 10, but if she doesn't I won't be crushed, because I like a lot of people this season. It's nice
to feel that way about CI, for once.

Theo - class of the field so far; tonguebath by judges is largely deserved. Needs to step away from the piano next week, though.
