He sees all the Players TRYING to seem like the Mole and is actively ENCOURAGING them to do so. With SO MANY bending over Backwards to try to SEEM like the Mole (Pawlie, Nicole, now Mark and Craig) does the Mole have to do ANYTHING AT ALL??? During the Chain task, Alex made sure each and every player left before him except the LAST. He was TEMPTING every player to act MOLEY while he intended to do the "Right thing." Casting Suspicion against any player who took the Exemption and NOT HIM. In the Next assignment, he was the only guy willing to DO it. (Mole COVER???) As everyone else was thinking, "AW HELL, NO!!!" "We're all happy with this decision." Except Alex. That's CLEARLY his M.O. through the Game. To do what is "Right" while casting suspicion on everybody else. That's GREAT strategy if he IS the Mole or if he is NOT. I have no doubt THIS BASTARD is in the Final Three

AMEN. Alex has encouraged every MOLE-Wannabe, throughout the Season. He HAS to either be the Mole or a Serious Contender for the WIN. KRISTEN'S Quiz is very telling about Alex. Everyone else was acting VERY MOLEY. Kristen's last Quiz, that she saw so much Mole activity amongst the OTHER players, but NOT If Kristen voted Straight ALEX at the Quiz, it indicates Alex in NOT the Mole, but the assumed WINNER that tells you Alex is NOT the Mole. But that's Alex's STRATEGY, and a Win-Win, if he is the Mole or Not. If he IS the Mole, all the other players suspect instead of him, in which case, he's fooled EVERYONE. And is a WORLD-CLASS MOLE. If he ISN'T, everyone else doing Mole-Like behavior will lead other players while everyone else IS, will FORCE other players to suspect that everyone else is just ACTING as the Mole and Alex is the SECRET MOLE and Alex can pick off the other players ONE BY ONE who suspect he is the Mole.

He's failed at almost every mission, but has blamed other people for his failure. - He failed the waterfall mission when he obviously had cash in his bag. - He was part of the crappy Scavenger team that messed up the mission. He even was holding the mole note with Craig that Craig was blamed for. - He sucked like everyone else on the soccer mission. He even cheated on the penalty kick (dribbled the ball first) so if he had scored it wouldn't have counted. - He messed up the luge challenge with Nicole. Even though she repeated it twice, she had to have said Avacado at the end. Therefore Alex should have figured out the repeat. Nicole ends up being blamed for this one. - He got his journal question wrong.

Posts: 917 (07/03/08 3:30 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	And yet, we are given little reason to believe that any of the players notice Alex's "obvious sabotage" (I think Kristen or Ali once mentioned Alex among possible candidates, but we usually get people like Bobby, Craig, and Victoria talking about how he couldn't possibly be the mole). And evidently there are plenty of viewers who have the impression the Alex has done little to no sabotage. Other people are always blamed for mission failures that Alex had a hand in. The show made us focus on Bobby sitting in the wheelbarrow in the pigs fly mission and had Bobby telling us all that Alex is too busy being stupid to be the mole. Nicole took all the blame for the two green apples and we never got to see that entire luge run. Everyone made such a big deal about Nicole costing them money in the journal quotes game that no one ever really cared to notice that Alex gave an answer that was guaranteed to be wrong.

He's failed at almost every mission, but has blamed other people for his failure. I should clarify this comment. I just meant that Alex hasn't been blamed when he makes mistakes (except for pig launching.) Craig was called out for carrying the mole sign by Mark, even though they both were carrying it. Nicole was blamed for the double apple, even though Alex should have figured out what had happened. In the journal game, he messed up, but everyone was so focused on Nicole's cheating. In the soccer mission everyone blamed Bobby for being pathetic, when Alex also was supposed to be a soccer player. I should say he has avoided blame, not blamed others. Someone else has taken the spotlight away from Alex in every mission.

I just noticed he has screwed up a whole lot of challenges and people haven't exactly called him out on them. I came to my own conclusion that Alex is the mole based on that fact. Obviously people will look at different things to try to figure out who the mole is (hidden clues, quiz results.) I can definitely see where people would think Clay, Nicole and Craig could all be the mole.

What we do know is that editors haven't much shown us Alex being called out. Either it didn't happen, or they are downplaying it to make the show more interesting.
