I hate Hate HATE cucumbers. I absolutely can not stand the smell, and I can not eat anything that has touched a cucumber slice.

I don't understand how this is food to people. It might as well be Elmer's Glue or Shit..the taste does not regiaster as anything I would ever want in my mouth. I tried it twice in my life..as a kid and about a year ago since my taste buds have changed over the years and shit..I had to not only spit out the pretzal that I had dipped it in but immediately rinse and then paper towel my tongue. BALSIMIC VINEGAR Stinks and tastes even nastier. OLIVES Absolutely disgsuting. It's the kind of food you try but immediately spit out b/c it's too horrific to even consider swallowing. |

I'm kinda shocked so many people hate olives. My fav pizza has olives, capers, anchovie paste, and onions on it.
Some of my fav burger topings: pesto, relish, blue cheese, pineapple, bits of oranage rind, jalapenos, bacon, cocktail sauce, bbq sauce, and tardar sauce. YUM! You people are picky. |

My mom went on an anti-cilantro rant the other night and I made fun of her for it. I thought it was weird to have so much burning hatred for a mere SPICE, but
now I see it's pretty common.
I don't even know what it tastes like since she never uses it in her cooking and I don't know enough about it to detect it elsewhere. What is it normally used in that I might have eaten??? Oh and the only thing I can think of that really makes me gag is any fruity/sour/gummy candy. I've always detested it.  I like most "real"
foods.

Naj, if you ever had pico de gallo (Or most dishes) from a Mexican restaurant, it's the green herb in that. I LOVE the stuff, and think you should give it
a try. It's also used a lot in Thai cooking, and in some salsas.
