Yeah.. as a fan of MXC, I thought this show would suck... but I actually liked it.
I think having more subdued announcers with witty comments works. I would like to see someone who actually DID finish the big ball challenge. Even with MXC, they normally give you someone who does successfully complete the obstacle. |

I think they probably film several episodes at once, and there was mud on the fourth ball so somebody made it that far. Expect to see it soon.

Now I know what happened to the second Talk Soup guy! I enjoyed this and I'm glad Jazz Hands won, but it would be more exciting if there was an audience.

I do wish they had obstacles people could complete, though. Part of the fun of Ninja Warrior is that you see people tackle and defeat some crazy stunts, while
also enjoying the 90% of those who wipe out.
Not that I'm complaining too much. I thoroughly enjoyed parts 2 and 3. |

If I recall correctly, one of the promos showed a guy cross the big balls. It's not that hard, it's all about balance.
And a squat jump would work, too, I guess. And if you had the people on Ninja Warrior on this, they would have no problems. These obstacles are insanely easy compared to that. ETA: And nobody mentioned the British chick screaming for her mommy by the balance blocks? That was GOLD!

Jessi the blonde whore <3. I was pretty impressed that she got 3rd place after how physical the course was. I think if she didn't fall where she did,
she may have won. I don't know how a female could possibly win.
I actually thought this was going to be a series, not a like one show thing. I still like it and will probably continue to watch. <3 them casting fat people that have zero chance of making it. |

I will watch this until I at least see someone get PUNTED off the spinner with all those big punching bags off it! That's going to rock!
This show is so funny, but if you get drunk it's way better. Also you should watch this ONLY by yourself or with others who you know will like it, otherwise they will totally drag you down with all their comments 'oh this show is so stupid, end of western civilization, laughing at others pain blah blah...' but you knew that. Anyway, the comments make the show! It's got a MST3K thing where you could feasibly watch Wipeout! at a party and add your own commentary. BIG BALLS! |

I didn't find Jill Wagner to be annoying at all. I was surprised with how much airtime she received.
I figured that the two men would handle the entire commentary, with Jill just interviewing the contestants. Instead, she gave a decent amount of commentary and had all of the reaction shots. |

I missed this last night but caught it online just now, and I laughed my ass off the entire time. The running commentary was snarky fun and laughing at people wiping out never got old. I also liked the pacing and that there's no reality show aspect like ISAJGS. The wall to wall action captured the spirit of Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke. I loved the nicknames. Fat Contestant <3 |

That's what's kind of cool about the courses, that it's not all about pure strength. Balance and timing and coordination are just as important, if not more so. So any female who's at least in good shape has a chance to hold her own with the men, like blondie did. |

This scored big ratings last night.I called this as the big summer hit. Everyone I showed the previews to was laughing hysterically and said they would watch. I was surprised at the pacing of the show and how well it worked. They did not show all or everyone, just the highlights.. or rather the low-lights which is what is so funny. And I have to agree that the more subdued commentary makes this show as good as MXC, but on a different level. Great mindless fun, and makes me want to go and make a fool of myself on the show. There is an ex college football jock who they showed in previews making it across the BIG BALLS. this is hilarious!: |
