I'm watching on Daily Motion now so I'm posting as I watch the performances.

I hate Jesse Cottam so I wasn't surprised that his performance was unbearably sucky. He will be one of the reasons Canada will fuck up the Top 10, bitches like him because he's "cute."

Mark, "Alone" WTF? Ummm okay then. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I didn't hate listening to it. I find it hard to hate him though, he doesn't have that hateable quality like Craigina. I don't know about Jake but I actually liked the arrangement. Still doesn't belong in the competition though and only made it there to fulfill the Newfie quota.

Cow bitch Jessica, I want to punch her already just from her video. STFU bitch. Such a predictable bitch, go the fuck home. I never deny that she has technical vocal ability, I'd be a deaf retard if I tried to pass that bullshit off. She just does nothing for me and I don't want to listen to her. She's predictable, she's boring, she picks boring ass songs etc, plus her personality kills me, she's so fucking entitled and annoying. For me this competition is about vocal talent, I want the winner to have a great voice but I want more than that. Simply put she just doesn't appeal to me and I hope she goes home pre-Top 10 and never comes back to CI. The judges clearly don't care for her and all they can say is you sing well because she does, but nothing more. My honest, nice piece of advice to her would be let go. Everyone knows she has pipes but she needs to let go, she needs to pick a less predictable song, have some fun and try and win over the people who don't care just about technical ability. Right now she's not the person who's going to make people go wow, that was so original or awesome, how cool. She's stuck in that big singer, she can blow mode and she needs to let that go for a second and pick something that would show people hey, I'd like to buy her music. This will probably be my longest commentary but I figure if I'm going to hate on her so hard I might as well say what it is that bugs me so much. I'm with louie, go away now.

Shaun Francisco, another one who bothers me from their talking pre-performance. More annoying than that though was the performance. He fucking blathered on about making his own arrangement and then did the same version of "Yellow" that Marin did during the Toronto round which is the same version that Brooke White from AI does on her pre-AI7 CD. I don't know if she originally did that version but Shaun didn't but his pre-package makes him out to be a brilliant song arranger. He may have changed it slightly but he actually made it crappier. FUCK OFF. Shaun Francisco hate. Maybe it's not the same but just ewww, it wasn't brilliant and I'm sure he didn't come up with that arrangement all on his own. Ewww I just don't like him.

Lindsay, I don't even remember this chick. You can go home now, but I won't worry about it since you're obvious fodder and you're French. Not awful but I didn't care for it. Half the time she was yelling incoherently with a thick French accent.

Right now I'm itching to get to Part 7 of the videos because I see Amberly.

Omar Lunan, another wtf song choice. So cheesy and boring. Some good vocal moments but that's about it. I won't worry about him either KKKanada will take care of the token black guy tonight. Matt Rapley scared them, they won't let that happen again. Towards the end it became unbearable and I skipped it. Is Sass on crack, transcendent? Jake can't see how people won't love it? WTF. I don't want to feel him feeling shit, I want him to go away.

Am I being too harsh?

Another French girl, maybe I should just skip her since she'll be gone tonight anyway. Marie Pierre apparently thought she was on search for the next Pussycastlicious member or something. Again, don't have to worry about her, she'll be gone before you can say Marie Pierre. Not a bad voice or anything, just nothing special. Ben's joke about Amy Crackhouse was crap too, we all know she's on crack doofus.

Sebastian Piggy was next and you all hyped him so I was expecting big things. I honestly don't recall him that much, I noticed Oliver more. From his video though I like his personality more now though. Wow, I don't know the song but from the start I could already hear myself listening to his CD in my CD player non-stop. Excellent. He's the better piggy for sure, every time people said that before I just couldn't remember him well enough but I love him now. Very apt song title btw, dark horse indeed.

I was on the fence about Theo before tonight. After tonight I like him. Very nice job on the song. I liked it a lot, but I won't say I loved it. The ending was particularly awesome though. I can't decipher if he says him or em' either when Ben asks him about the song choice. I think he is gay though, when they flash backed to his audition there was this guy there congratulating him afterwards that I think was his boyfriend.

Finally, finally, finally I got to see Amberly. Loved it, loved it, loved it. The only girl that's going anywhere near the Top 5 and thankfully the best one. I could watch it over and over and over again and I probably will. Best of the two nights. I'm with Sass perfect song choice and one of the only people who made a really good song choice. I'm always a little weary about high praise from Zack though, sometimes people kick out his favos like Nancy but she's more of a Carly Rae/Theresa type so hopefully they keep her.

I love the song "Hallelujah" but it's way too overdone. I think people pick it because they want people to think they're like a musical genius and they're deep and stuff and like it will automatically get them great reviews, which thus far has proved true so I can see why people keep picking it. In any case I don't see how her version was unlike any version she's ever heard, does she know how many versions there are? She's not like zomg original, her song choice automatically makes her zomg not original. She was just okay for me. She's not that great of a singer, it was a decent version, she's not appealing to me at all. Again, why did Taylor Swift try out for Canadian Idol? Oh yeah, that was Katelyn.

Adam Castelli kind of bothers me now, I don't know why. He didn't before but during the auditions and stuff I felt bombarded with so many good people and I had a hard time keeping things straight before this week. Is this guy messing around? Was that really his song choice? Ummm no.
