Hello MasterDarkNinja. Thank you very much for commenting on the episode. I don't think you've ever missed one, and I appreciate that you still take the time to comment on the ones that you don't enjoy as much. I always enjoy reading what you have to say regardless!

-Sherea and Brooke sure look like hypocrites in their fight with Aras

The intention was definitely for them to be negative. They tried to play the victims by saying that they were never going to vote Aras out, when they definitely were, and they ended up looking badly for it.

-So now a F4 alliance forms on Malakal, watch it be split up this episode. I bet Joel and Kathy team up with Brooke & Sherea, and they somehow get Ian to vote with them

This is what it's leading up to to some degree, but you're just a little bit ahead of yourself there.

-So Mikey admits to having the idol, that may become a big mistake.

He only admits to having it to Joel though. If he admits it to anyone else, that could be a mistake - or if Joel tells anyone and word gets around.

-So Aras might throw the challenge, that's even more evidence that his plan is about to go horribly wrong, although I must admit, there seems to be almost no build up for it once so ever at Malakal.

This was just to throw some last minute doubt in there, especially with Aras doing the puzzle portion of the challenge that he might throw it. He feared what you talked about earlier: that Kathy/Joel/Brooke/Sherea would join up and cause a tie, so that's why he did not end up throwing the challenge.

-Ok, this is really ironic and kind of unfair, Brooke and Sherea, the 'next two to go' both sit out of the immunity challenge. Seems like poor planning on their part in a way, not leaving their fate in their own hands.

Oops, I usually try to pay attention to that and for some reason I didn't catch it this time. I thought Sherea would be better for lifting the heavy coins in th RC and Brooke would be good for the puzzle aspect, but I could have switched out one of them with Alexis/Mary. Good attention to detail!

-Mikey threatens Tracy with finishing 4th on Airai if their losing streak continues!!! Not such a good idea.

Unless I made a mistake and put the wrong name in, I'm pretty sure he says this to Jason and not Tracy, since Jason was the one he was really trying to sway.

-Forgot to mention it earlier in the story, but Tracy really seems to be in a downhill spiral this episode, like she'll get voted out soon or something, though not this episode. I don't think she's going to last much longer.

It was only because it was her anniversary. After that day, she will be fine.

It felt like a slow episode, without a lot of drama. I just, didn't feel much of a build up for the votes, I was hoping for some Malakal drama at how Aras' crew could possibly get unseated, but instead it was a more predictable Eliza vs Terry battle, with no surprises. The editing left me feeling like it was really a coin toss who would go home between Terry and Eliza, and not that one of them was probably going home. I'd probably have said more, but I typed up most of this Thursday night.

I agree with you that it was one of the slower and more uneventful episodes in the whole season, and I knew it would be. I kindof just wanted to get past this one because Episode 8 is a million times better and has some good strategy, sad moments, and big shocks, so it should be good all around. I did feel like Eliza had much more story to keep going than Terry did, and I really started getting annoyed with his character by the end because it seemed so repetitive all the time. Eliza has a lot more different directions that she can go.

I'm actually glad that you rated it a 6 because this lowered the average down into the mid-high 8 range and I think that's about where it should be. It definitely shouldn't be in the 9s with some of the better episodes I've done. I *think* next week (or this week, I should say) will be though. I hope...

Well, that is both good and bad for me. I like there to be some question about who it is, but I do think you're coming up with the four most likely contenders right now, so that is good. The next episode or two will be really key for the Contenders.

i dont think ive posted this, but i called out Mary on winning since the beginning.
Whether she does or doesnt, i think a girl will win this time.
Eliza won't win, since you haven't previously written about her during a season.
But, my guess is she'll get at least final three or the finale, something far.

Hello AwesumCrush00. Thanks for posting these thoughts. It's great to know you're still reading after so many seasons. You definitely could be right about Mary being someone to keep your eye on. A female winner also seems like a very possible outcome, with women outnumbering men 7-5. We'll have to see how it plays out! :)

This one was a little slow for me because of all the excitement of the past few episodes. Also hoping for a little more suspense because Jason gave a confessional right before Tribal that seemed to indicate he would be voting for Terry. Also, this might sound weird but I am hoping for a merge soon to see how the alliances work out. Everyone seems to be promising they can bring over people from the other tribe who already seem to be in different alliances and would love to see the drama unfold there.

Thanks for these comments. I agree with you that this episode was a little slow in comparison to some of the other episodes, and the ones to come. As I've said many times before, Episode 8 is much better and I think you'll like it more. True about the Jason confessional indicating that he would vote for Terry - I had to put that in there, I felt, or else his decision would come out of nowhere. He previously talked about keeping the tribe strong and voting out the weakest and I needed to explain why/when his strategy changed.

Also, I agree with what you said about the merge and it will be coming up sooner than you think. After the next episode, the stage will be set for everything that happens at the merge and I think the merge episode will be a good one. Not much longer to wait before that happens! :)

Jeff Probst: <talking loudly> Come on in, guys! <The camera now switches angles to show the eight Malakal members walking into the challenge area. A close-up view of Sherea is shown, before the camera scrolls over to Aras, and then zooms out to show the entire tribe, as the castaways gather into a group on their purple mat. A wide view of the challenge area is then shown, as the Airai members can be seen walking up the beach>

Tracy: Hi… <The camera zooms in on Tracy, and then returns back to Jeff again>

Jeff Probst: Malakal, getting your first look at the new Airai tribe: <The Malakal members can be seen turning their heads towards Airai> Terry voted out at the last Tribal Council. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows a quick clip of Eliza, and then shows Aras shifting his expression. Mary: Come on, Kathy! <Alexis can be heard shouting "You can do it," as the camera shows Kathy diving back underwater, and then cuts back to Tracy, who arrives at the wall>

Eliza: Oh my God! <Jason and Eliza now turn towards Jeff, who jogs over>

Jeff Probst: <narration> Airai very close! <The camera scrolls across Airai's completed puzzle, as Jeff can be seen examining it. He then raises his arms>

Jeff Probst: <shouting> Airai wins Reward! <'Another Miracle' begins to play, as the camera shows the four overjoyed Airai members erupting with thunderous cheers and shouts, and Jason raises his arms over his head victoriously>

Jason: <shouting> Yes! Finally! <The camera now shows the excited Airai members jumping up and down and hugging each other, before switching angles to show the defeated Malakal members looking on uncomfortable. Aras can be seen shrugging, before the camera shows Joel standing with his hands on his hips. Jeff is now shown again>

Jeff Probst: Nice job! <The camera cuts back to a smiling Jason, as he cheers>

Jason: Oh, we did it, baby… <laughs> <Another view of the celebratory Airai members is shown, before the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show both tribes standing on their mats>

Tracy: I know she thinks she doesn't want to, <A wide view of the uneasy Malakal members is now shown> but she'll thank us later. <The camera goes back to Tracy> It's Kathy… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows a close-up view of Kathy, and then returns to Jeff>

Airai Tribe - Reward

<'Venture Out' plays, as the aerial camera shows an overhead view of a lush tropical island, where a waterfall can be seen. The camera then cuts ahead to show the clear water running down into a pool, before scrolling over to the dessert table. The camera now cuts ahead to show a side view of the three excited Airai members crossing a wooden bridge over a stream>

Mikey: Oh my gosh, I'm excited! <The camera now scrolls back over to Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> We walked up to this beautiful scene surrounded by three spectacular waterfalls, <The camera scrolls across each of the waterfalls, and then fades out to show a wide view of the three joyful Airai members> and we were so excited. <Eliza can be seen dipping her hand into the pool of water>

Eliza: It's fresh water! Fresh! <Mikey can be heard saying "Oh, and it's cool," as he dips his hand in as well, and the camera switches angles to show Jason again>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, we could feel the cool mist from the waterfall on our faces; <short pause> it feels incredible, <laughs> <The camera zooms in on Mikey, as he says "That mist feels awesome!"> and we just wanted to cool down and celebrate, but we couldn't because we had to eat! <laughs> <The camera switches angles to show the castaways gathered around the dessert table, as loud gasps and awes are heard>

Mikey: Oh, brownies! <Mikey is shown reaching for a brownie, before Eliza is shown>

Eliza: This is something that I craved in this game for so long… <Mikey is then shown again>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Our Reward was awesome! <laughs> We could not have been happier to win. <The camera shows quick clips of the Airai members eating various dessert items> I don't think I've been more thrilled to ever win a challenge on Survivor, especially with the Reward being sweets, which we're all really excited about, yet slightly terrified at the thought of how much we're going to eat… <laughs> <Eliza is shown biting into a chocolate truffle, as the camera scrolls over to Mikey>

Mikey: What flavor's that? <Eliza can be seen shaking her head in awe, as she chews>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I just find it so ironic that Terry said we would never win another challenge without him, <A delighted Jason can be heard saying "This day keeps getting better," as he eats a raisin square> and the day he's gone, guess who wins the challenge? <laughs> <The camera zooms out to show all three castaways again>

Eliza: This is the only reason why I'm happy that we lost all those Immunity Challenges, <A wide view of the dessert table is shown, as the camera scrolls across it> because all this is for just the three of us… <laughs> <Mikey is now shown grabbing a slice of blueberry cheesecake, before the camera switches angles to show both Eliza and Jason>

Eliza: <to Jason> I want the one he's having… <A bowl of assorted candies is then shown, as Jason reaches his hand into it and eats a handful of candy>

Jason: <to Eliza> There's so much left! <Eliza now reaches for a slice of cake>

Eliza: I wish I could just take this to the Immunity Challenge with me and eat it in front of Malakal… <laughs> <The camera continues to focus on Eliza, as she eats another bite of the cake and says "Mmm">

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Oh my God! There were chocolate éclairs, fudge, fresh fruit, <The camera shows a tray of watermelon> all different kinds of cake, <A clip of a blackforest cake with several slices missing from it is shown> pretty much every kind of dessert you can imagine. We just gorged ourselves… <laughs> <Another wide view of the three Airai members is shown, as Jason can be seen grabbing a slice of chocolate cheesecake>

Jason: Let me sample this one real quick… <A clip of Eliza eating is now shown again>

Eliza: <talking aloud> That's like my favorite thing in the entire world. <laughs> <The camera then abruptly cuts back to Jason, who reaches for another slice of cake>

Jason: <to camera> I better try these guys too… <Jason is then shown cutting the tip off of a slice of carrot cake with his fork, and then eating it, as a comical music begins to play>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Jason would take a piece of cake, <Jason is now shown eating a slice of coffee cake> and he'd take, like, one bite of everything, <Jason is then shown biting into a chocolate-covered strawberry> and I'm like "Jason! What are you doing?!" <laughs> <The camera now shows Jason chewing another piece of cake in his mouth>

Jason: <talking aloud> That one's very good… <The camera continues to focus on Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: You know, I got really full much quicker than I anticipated just from eating desserts, <The camera scrolls down to Jason's stomach, as he holds it and groans> so you know, we kindof frolicked around in the waterfall for a bit. <A quick clip of the castaways splashing around in the cool waters is shown> Um, I was quite relieved to leave behind the emotional turmoil of the game of Survivor for a few hours, and just have a great time with Eliza and Mikey… <'Micronesia Overture Strum' begins to play, as the camera shows Mikey sitting under the waterfall and the water gently falls down onto him>

Mikey: This is better than anything in the world right now… <A smiling Eliza is shown next>

Eliza: This is paradise, <long pause> and even though we've only won twice, um, I'd much rather be over here with you guys, you know? <The camera continues to focus on Eliza>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: I will never, ever forget this day for the rest of my life. Day 20 of Survivor: Micronesia is Airai's day. <laughs> We're eating; we're at a gorgeous waterfall. <A clip of Jason jumping into the pool of water is shown> No matter what challenge I ever won, I would never have dreamed that the Reward would be this good. <laughs> It's heaven… <The camera now scrolls across the Airai members, before zooming back in on Eliza>

Eliza: This is just, over the top… <Mikey can be seen holding his arms out, as the water continues to gently fall onto his shoulders>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: I would say that after this Reward, Eliza, Mikey, and myself have gotten a lot closer as a tribe… <Eliza is now shown again, as she says "I love you guys," as a wide view of the three castaways sitting under the waterfall is shown>

Eliza: We needed this win so bad! <The camera now turns back to Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> But even winning this Reward and having all the refreshment, <A close-up view of a carefree Eliza is shown> um, I'm definitely a little worried. You know, there's still a lot of odds against us in this game, <The camera continues to focus on Jason for a few seconds> and <long pause> it's hard to think about who we might have to vote off if my hunch comes true and we continue to lose the Immunity Challenges… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera switches to an overhead view of the three joyful Airai members swimming under the beautiful waterfall. Exile Island - Night 21

<A spooky music plays, as a fast-forwarded view of the darkening sky is shown, and the stormy clouds rapidly shift. The infrared camera fades out to show a flash of lightning streaking over the ocean. Palm trees are shown blowing fiercely in the wind, as large raindrops pour down, and the camera cuts ahead to show Tracy and Kathy both crawling under a cave>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: We have a, I think it's a monsoon coming down, and <pause> we could not believe how long it was; <A clip of the rough tides crashing against the shoreline is shown> it just kept coming down. I mean, it poured down in buckets… <An infrared view of Tracy is shown, as she rubs her arms to stay warm>

Tracy: I'm so uncomfortable and wet… <The infrared camera now scrolls over to Kathy>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: This is the most stressful thing I ever went through in my life. When you're watching this at home and you see the rain, you think "Big deal! What are they crying about? You know, it's just a couple of drops of rain," <laughs> but <long pause> the rain kept pouring down and it was worse than it ever poured, <A wide view of Kathy and Tracy being pummeled by rain is shown> and the lightning was flashing all around us; <Kathy says "Whoa," as a flash of lightning is seen> the thunder was so loud it felt like an earthquake. <A rumble of thunder is heard, as a frightened Kathy looks up> You know, you're trying so hard just to survive, and on top of that you have to think about a game?! <A close-up view of Tracy is shown, before the infrared camera zooms in on her wrinkled and wet hands>

Tracy: <to Kathy> My hands look like prunes… <Kathy is then shown again>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: Every minute feels like an hour; <short pause> every hour feels like a week; it's brutal! <An infrared view of the cave area is shown, as rain can be seen pouring down> You know what? There would have to be a new word invented for this because brutal doesn't cut it. It's pure agony… <Another loud crash of thunder is heard, as a startled and weeping Kathy jumps up and says something inaudible to Tracy>

Kathy: <talking loudly> I want this to be over! <The camera zooms back in on Tracy>

Tracy: <to Kathy> Concentrate on breathing; <short pause> don't talk… <Kathy is now shown>

Kathy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I kept looking out for a boat. <A wide view of the stormy ocean is shown, as large waves crash down> You know, I thought Noah was gonna show up on the ark and just start grabbing the sea snakes two by two, <laughs> but <long pause> it didn't happen, and we were huddled up under a little, tiny cave. <The infrared camera shows both Tracy and Kathy huddling under the cave, as large raindrops continues to pour down on them> It was scary to be in there. You know, you don't know what's going to happen. <A close-up view of Kathy is shown> You don't know if the cave is gonna collapse on you; you don't know if it's gonna flood or the winds are gonna get stronger; <Several palm trees are shown blowing fiercely in the wind> you're just kindof at the mercy of Mother Nature… <Another flash of lightning is shown streaking across the dark, before the infrared camera cuts back to Tracy and Kathy, and the screen fades out>

Airai Tribe - Day 22

<'Tentative' plays, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of several tropical islands, and then fades into a close-up view of the Airai tribe's flag, as water drips off of it and collects into a muddy puddle on the beach. The camera now switches angles to show the three miserable Airai lying uncomfortably in their shelter, before a close-up view of Mikey is shown>

Mikey: That was one for the books… <A close-up view of an exhausted Jason is shown next>

Jason: Think about Kathy and Tracy having to endure that storm… <Eliza is then shown>

Eliza: <to Jason> They have no protection. <Jason can be heard saying "I know"> There's nothing that they can use to even cover themselves… <The camera returns to Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: We got back from the Reward Challenge late last night, and after having a great time, you know, at the waterfall, we went through a really scary night. <A side view of Eliza is shown, as she says "It was pouring right on me"> It was definitely the most violent storm we've seen in 22 days; <short pause> none of us got any sleep again. <The camera focuses back in on Jason, as he rubs his eyes> You know, we kindof just feel like zombies, and unfortunately, I feel that we're fighting a lot of battles that we can't win. <Jason is now shown crouched down by the wet fire pit>

Jason: Let's just get our fire goin'… <A close-up view of the flint is shown, as Jason frantically scrapes it with the machete. A detached Mikey is then shown gazing into the distance>

Mikey: Oh, come on fire; <short pause> you're killin' me! <The camera then switches angles to show another clip of Jason, as he continues to strike the flint>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I think, right now, Eliza, myself, and Mikey are definitely succumbing to the intimidation posed by the Malakal tribe, <A close-up view of Mikey is shown, as he laughs at something> and <short pause> just feeling defeated before we even get to today's Immunity Challenge. <Eliza is now shown again>

Eliza: It's like, they have Aras and Joel competing today, <A side view of a thoughtful-looking Mikey is shown, as he says "Uh huh"> and there's no way Tracy's gonna be at 100% when she gets back from Exile… <The camera now focuses back in on Jason again>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I feel like, in a lot of ways, my dream is slipping further and further out of my hands with every day that passes… <A prominent sound is heard, before another close-up view of Eliza is shown>

Eliza: I'm really not trying to be negative; <short pause> I'm never like that, but I'm just trying to be realistic, you know? I want to at least be prepared for the disappointment… <laughs> <The camera zooms out to show another view of the three downtrodden Airai members>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Today is Immunity Challenge day again, <Jason can be seen grabbing the orange challenge flag> and since we've lost every single Immunity since the swap, we're really, really hoping we can pull this one out, <The camera now focuses back in on Eliza> but <pause> if this is a purely physical challenge, I think we're screwed; I'm not gonna lie… <laughs> <A wide view of all three Airai members is now shown again>

Jason: If we lose Immunity again, I'll deserve to be voted out. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows Mikey looking up and then turning his head> That'd be, like, the biggest failure ever… <A comical sound is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out>

Malakal Tribe - Day 22

<A sad, but mysterious music plays, as the camera shows a rock formation in the shallow ocean waters and scrolls around it, before fading out to show a close-up view of the Malakal tribe's flag. A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Aras chopping into a coconut, and then switches angles to show several castaways around the fire>

Alexis: Poor guy… <Brooke is then shown with a sympathetic look on her face>

Brooke: He was really upset; I felt bad for him… <The camera now shows Sherea cutting the meat out of a coconut, before scrolling up to her face>

Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: This morning, the Malakal tribe is, um, down to seven members. The mood is really somber around camp; <Alexis is shown, as she asks "Are you going to get firewood?" to Mary> you know, we're all really concerned about Joel's well-being and it was definitely sad to see him go, <A pot of beans is shown bubbling over the fire, as Mary stirs it> but <long pause> I also can't help but think, "My back-up plan just got taken away on that boat…" <laughs> <Another close-up view of Brooke is shown next>

Brooke: I think he'll be fine; <Ian says "I hope so"> I mean, he's a strong person, and he's such a trooper… <The camera now shows a wide view of several Malakal members>

Ian: It definitely changes the whole outlook of the game though. <Brooke is shown again>

Brooke: Oh, we have a long game ahead still. Seventeen days? <Aras can be heard saying something inaudible, as the camera continues to focus on Brooke>

Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Joel's evacuation pretty much left the alliance of Aras, Mary, Alexis, and Ian in control of the tribe, <The camera shows a wide view of the four alliance members> so it's kindof a sucky place to be right now. <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Brooke returning back to camp with treemail and holding it up>

Brooke: <talking loudly> You guys, we got some treemail! <Alexis and Sherea are then shown clapping excitedly, as Brooke hands the treemail to Mary and says "It's an oar">

<'Deep Enigma Yearning' plays, as the camera shows an aerial view of the lush tropical jungles, and then cuts ahead to show a crab scurrying along the beach. A prominent sound is now heard, as the camera scrolls over to the Airai tribe's flag, and then switches angles to show a side view of the four disheartened Airai members returning back to camp again>

Tracy: I can't believe Joel… <A view of Tracy setting her bag down in the shelter is shown, before the camera cuts ahead to show Mikey, Jason, and Eliza>

Jason: Well, there goes our last shot at winning Immunity… <A frustrated Eliza says "Yep">

Mikey: We better be on the downhill side of this whole adventure… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera switches angles to show Jason>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: Today's Immunity Challenge was our last Immunity Challenge, probably, before the merge, <Jason can be seen setting the orange challenge flag down> and I really wish we could have come through and won today because I definitely don't want to have to vote off Mikey, Tracy, or Eliza… <The camera zooms back in on Mikey again>

Mikey: It's gonna be seven to three?! Wow, that's a record! <Eliza is then shown next>

Eliza: <to Mikey> I feel like we're pretty much a disgrace right now… <laughs> <A close-up view of a sad-looking Jason is shown, as the camera continues to focus on him>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> At this point, I feel pretty hopeless; <short pause> I mean, losing another Immunity Challenge was definitely a big disappointment, <A somber Jason can now be seen eating a piece of coconut> and you know, I'm just shaking my head about the fact that we have to go back to Tribal Council. <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as the camera scrolls over to an uneasy Eliza>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Right now, I just about want to cry. The last time I wanted to cry in this game, it was @@+$@ of joy over winning the Reward Challenge <laughs> and now I'm just devastated. <The camera continues to show a contemplative Eliza watching Mikey and Jason> This is the worse situation that could have possibly happened for me, losing Immunity again…

Mikey: <talking aloud> We need water real bad… <The camera cuts back to Eliza>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, fortunately, I was able to get in with the Fans to work my way towards the merge, <A clip of the three original Airai members is shown next> but I'm the last Favorite left on Airai and I could definitely be next to go, <Eliza is now shown walking along a jungle path by herself> so I think my best chance of staying would unfortunately be if Jason goes home… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show a clip of Eliza and Mikey talking in a secluded jungle area>

Eliza: <to Mikey> I need to talk to you before Jason or Tracy does: <Eliza takes a short pause, as Mikey says "Okay"> I think Jason and Tracy are not gonna vote for each, and Jason's gonna give her his Immunity, so I think we need to push for Jason… <Mikey can be seen raising his eyebrows, as he hesitates before responding>

Jason: <to Tracy> I think we should just stick to our plan to vote out all the Favorites; <short pause> you know, it'll be a royal flush, and if we vote off Eliza, <The camera fades out to show Eliza talking to Mikey again> it'll be six Fans to four Favorites and we can vote them all off…

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: As it stands right now, there's six Fans in the game and only five Favorites, <Another rapid view of Eliza is shown next> and <pause> I would like to get the Fans back together and go all the way, but <pause> I trust Kathy and after what she told me yesterday on Exile, I don't have a good feeling about Alexis or Mary. <The camera switches angles to show Jason and Tracy again> I am starting to trust Eliza, and she's key to our strategy after the merge, so I wanna cement having her over on our side. <The camera now zooms back in on Tracy again, as she eats a piece of coconut>

Tracy: <to Jason> Do you think Kathy's gonna stick with us? <Jason is then shown again>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I think if we lose Eliza, we lose Brooke's vote and we lose Sherea's vote, so at this point, I mean, we need the Favorites or we are gonna be screwed… <A pensive Tracy is now shown next>

Tracy: <to Jason> We're gonna have to take Mike out: <short pause> do you think Eliza'll go for that? <Jason is now shown with a conflicted look on his face>

Jason: <to Tracy> Yeah, if we say it's her or Mikey… <Tracy is then shown nodding>

Jason - CONFESSIONAL: I definitely feel that voting off Eliza tonight puts the Fans in the best position in this game. <A clip of Eliza sitting across from Mikey at the fire is shown> On the other hand, Tracy feels strongly that we need to vote off Mikey, and <long pause> that's something that I'll really have to think about because with only four people voting tonight, I think we need to have a unanimous agreement of who's going to go home, <Quick views of each of the Airai members are shown> so <long pause> I definitely think it's time to tell Tracy and Eliza that Mikey most likely has the hidden Immunity Idol… <A haunting tribal chant is heard, as the camera shows the clouds shifting behind the Airai tribe's flag, and then cuts ahead to show Tracy, Eliza, and Jason lying in the shelter together>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Well, thanks to Eliza, I found out that I'm apparently being blindsided tonight by Tracy and Jason. <Tracy and Jason are shown sitting in the shelter together> You know, that's what she swears to, but <pause> I don't know necessarily that I can believe a word that comes out of Eliza's mouth. <Eliza is now shown again> Eliza wants to get as far as she can in the game, and it could be her plan just to smoke out the damn idol before the merge… <The camera shows another clip of Eliza and Mikey>

Eliza: <to Mikey> Just trust me and play it; <Eliza looks over her shoulder cautiously> I don't want them to see us talking, but <pause> they're planning on blindsiding you tonight. I swear… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows Mikey with a look of disbelief on his face>

Mikey: Wow! <The camera continues to show Mikey for a few seconds>

Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Yeah, I have the hidden Immunity Idol. Okay, so how did Jason find out? <The camera fades out to show another view of Jason> You know, I've had the thing tucked away in my shorts most of the time, so I don't know how he knows, but <pause> he's gonna go home because of it… <The camera returns back to Eliza again>

Eliza: <to Mikey> But you're still voting for Jason? <Another close-up view of Mikey is shown>

Mikey: <to Eliza> After finding out that?! You bet I am. <Mikey now runs one finger across his throat and makes a strange sound> Jason's gone! <Eliza is then shown smirking>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: If Mikey does in fact listen to what I'm telling him and play the idol, then whoever Mikey votes for, which will be Jason, would go home. <The camera shows a clip of Jason sitting in the shelter, as he slides his swollen foot into a running shoe>

Jason: <to Tracy> I just want it over with; <short pause> these hours in between Tribal Council are horrible… <Tracy says "I know, babe," as the camera cuts back to Eliza>

Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> If he decides to be an idiot, then, you know, the idol is out of the game regardless, <A view of an undecided Mikey is shown next> so <long pause> at least he's not gonna get all the way to the Final Four by holding onto it. <Eliza is now shown with a slight grin on her face> It's kindof a win-win situation no matter who goes home… <A mysterious music begins to play, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the darkening sky, and then fades out to show the four Airai members grabbing their torches. Another close-up view of Mikey is then shown>

Mikey: Everybody ready?! <The camera now scrolls back over to an expressionless Tracy>

Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Tonight is gonna be pins and needles. You know, anytime someone might have the hidden Immunity Idol, <Mikey is now shown standing with his torch over his shoulder> you're on edge because that adds another variable. <Tracy now pauses, as the camera scrolls back over to her and Jason> I don't think Mike is gonna play it tonight, but if he does, <A wide view of the four Airai members walking out of camp is shown> I think any one of us could go. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out>
