I swim every night in the ocean. The only time I don't go is when it's stormy, the rip current is a bitch here.
This time last year a 14 year old drowned, broad daylight with lifeguards trying to get to him. His poor mom was a mess on the beach, I felt so bad. |

This is my favorite swimming place. I try to visit it once every summer. |

Anytime I've been to the ocean, it stinks of fish. Swimming pools and lakes don't, so I know it wasn't me.

A couple of weeks ago I almost drowned on the South China Sea. Gosh, the waves were a bitch. Luckily I was able to recover, and my friend managed to pull me
back to safety.
That said, no ocean for me in a VERY long time.

Ocean swimming - no problem.
Pool swimming - no problem. Lake swimming, no matter how big or small - uhg. Last time I went in Lake Michigan I saw used diapers and a hypodermic needle. Then there's always the possibility of a seiche or just as scary, the people wearing swim suits that are way too small. |

I go to the beach to tan, smoke weed on the lifegaurd tans, and wander around Main Street half naked. If I want to swim, I'll hit up a pool.
